A tired hotel, with sparse rooms, dodgy bathrooms and a grand piano in the common area next to rooms, that other selfish guests think it's fun to play. Mostly grumpy staff. Limited bar, average breakfast. Nice view from garden but can hardly be credited to the hotel.

Amazing location on the walls of Siena with private gardens and a unspoilt view over the Tuscan hills. Great staff and private parking. Massive rooms, Old style aesthetic (which fits with Siena). Ask for a garden room for 1) the view 2) to get you away from the street which can be busy in the morning.

We loved this hotel. Old palazzo well restored . Old fashioned simple ambience. Great value . Worth paying a little more for room with view which was simply stunning ( chocolate box Tuscany) and made the holiday for us. Good breakfast with a few unusual touches like the cheese and ham tart and spinach tart. Very close to all the sights of beautiful old Siena. Recommend .

Lovely traditional old style hotel inside the old city walls of Siena. Great room, although not huge, with fantastic views. Very attractive garden to relax in and enjoy early evening drinks and a perfect setting for breakfast the next morning. There is even a car park for those travelling by this form of transport and excellent instructions from the hotel on how to find it. Perfectly located for all the main sights of Siena. I would highly recommend.

Old hotel, maybe a little too quaint. Bed is hard as a rock and pillow so mushy it’s almost like there is no pillow. Breakfast is pretty good (no hot food). Outside view from garden is great. For the price it gets 4 stars and is clean. Elevator is slow, old and bit quirky. WiFi not the best. Close to everything in old town.

The hotel is well located in a quiet area yet close enough to the center. It was convenient to have a parking lot close to the hotel that’s locked and has security cameras. The real gem of this hotel is the view in the garden off the back. Incredible spot to have a glass of wine and watch the sunset, have breakfast or relax at any time of day. Our room had a view of the cathedral and was really large with extremely high ceilings. It was a little cavernous however. The breakfast was expansive and delicious!

A very nice hotel with a beautiful garden for breakfast and afternoon drink. The hotel is very quiet and is very close to major attractions in this historical town. The parking is very convenient and has plenty of spots. We will definitely come back again.

The description of our friends visiting from another hotel as we looked out from the entrance floor of Palazzo Ravizza to the lower garden with the fountain in the foreground, dappled sunlight through the trees and ivy arbour of the stone terrasse with the glorious layered hills of Tuscany in the distance! Amid the crowds and activity of the city, the terrasse is a place of calm and magnificent beauty…. A place to linger over breakfast and come later for drinks. The hotel is wonderful too with breathtaking views from garden rooms, but the terrasse is to die for!

May be the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms were spotless, the views were breathtaking, the staff was gracious, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. The garden out back is beautiful and houses the hotel's mascot, Kiki the European box turtle. Kiki will join you for breakfast (albeit slowly) and loves a bit of banana or fruit. Five stars are not enough!

Very enjoyable stay at this Hotel, everywhere was very clean. All the staff were helpful and friendly, the receptionist who checked us out took the time to show us a scenic route south to our next stay. The parking on site was great and secure. Breakfast lovely too.The location was very central. We would definitely book this hotel if we were to return to Siena, which is highly likely, thank you for a great stay.

Wonderful Historic Hotel. This is a great hotel in a great location: quiet but close to the city center. The building is beautiful; the service is good; the rooms clean and comfortable. The view from the garden and the breakfast, which they provide for free, are unforgettable. Highly recommend.

The stay was very comfortable. The rooms are as to be expected in an old Italian building… small but pretty. The view out of the back terrace was stunning, just remember to bring bug spray as the mosquitos were in full force.

A great place to stay when visiting Siena. It was quiet, the room was spacious, the shower was great, and the breakfast was very good. Our only slight complaint was that the air conditioning was pretty weak.

Great location and incredible views of Tuscany from our room. Rooms were a bit dated and small, and the ZLT situation with driving and check in was more stressful than it should be. 5 min parking outside the hotel is not enough to deal with check in. No fault of the hotel, but tourism authorities should do better in this regard with ultra strict rules.

Friendly staff and great location, the small well furnished room had a good view over the rooftops to the Duomo. However room 52 is next to the noisy lift mechanism, which acted as an alarm. For me a good hotel experience is the product of a good sleep, not a disrupted one. I would stay at this hotel, as long as my room wasnt next to the lift shaft.

Located at the far end of Siena (15 minutes taxi ride from the train station) on a quiet street with not much pedestrian traffic unlike the rest of the town. It is still close to the main square, cathedral, museums and all other interesting sites. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a view to a beautiful little garden below. The breakfast was OK with cheese, pastries, fruit and good coffee. Our only complaint (hence minus one star on facilities) would be non-existent WiFi in the room, it was extremely slow and was losing connection all the time.

This was a lovely hotel, but the narrow, single-size bed was so hard I could not sleep on it. I ended up moving all the bedding to the couch in the middle of the night, I was so uncomfortable. For the next 2 nights I slept on the couch, though the couch sagged in the middle and was not that comfortable either. This hotel has a beautiful terrace and serves the best breakfast I have ever eaten in a hotel, but if your body can't get rested, what's the point?

Had a fantastic 5 night stay. It is situated in a quiet location but within easy each of the Campo. The room and bathroom was very spacious and were within keeping of the Palazzo! The garden and views were a great place to relax at the end of the day. The complimentary breakfast was an added bonus and lovely to have in the garden.

On our recent trip, this was one of my favorite places to stay. The rooms were large and comfortable, the grounds beautiful, and the breakfast was great. But what made this a truly lovely stay was the staff. Big shout out to Francesca and Elena. They made our stay perfect in so many ways. Warm, friendly, kind, compassionate, attentive, and very helpful to say the least.

Having booked with another local hotel - The Athena - who were completely obnoxious and unhelpful regarding the parking. I stumbled across this gem. The staff were so helpful and accomplished ~ first class customer service.

The staff was wonderful and helpful. They helped us make dinner reservations at a wonderful restaurant- Osteria da Divo. They have a very nice breakfast in the morning. There also is a very nice terrace to enjoy the view from Siena. We got a room with a wonderful view of countryside. The location was also very good as it was a short walk from the Duomo. I would highly recommend Palazzo Ravizza

Very pleasant property with the exception of a rather unkept garden. The receptionist at check in was extremely hostile and angry as soon as we walked in the door, her demeanor reflected poorly on a very nice hotel. Parking was extremely difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast was very pleasant but unfortunate that restaurant was not open for lunch or dinner.

We booked at the last minute and didn’t see the email with detailed instructions on how to get to the hotel in the walled village. We called the hotel and Cecilia stayed on the phone with us and guided us through the very tricky network of streets within the walled village. A big thanks to Cecilia!

Old hotel, maybe a little too quaint. Bed is hard as a rock and pillow so mushy it’s almost like there is no pillow. Breakfast is pretty good (no hot food). Outside view from garden is great. For the price it gets 4 stars and is clean. Elevator is slow, old and bit quirky. WiFi not the best. Close to everything in old town.

Great location and incredible views of Tuscany from our room. Rooms were a bit dated and small, and the ZLT situation with driving and check in was more stressful than it should be. 5 min parking outside the hotel is not enough to deal with check in. No fault of the hotel, but tourism authorities should do better in this regard with ultra strict rules.

The Pensione Palazzo Ravizza is in a very good location. It is within a few minutes walking to both the Il Campo and the Duomo. The garden view room that we stayed in has a gorgeous view of the city and surrounding hills. The garden area is beautiful, and is an excellent place to relax and take in the scenery. There are many places to eat within walking distance. The staff was very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Siena.

Located at the far end of Siena (15 minutes taxi ride from the train station) on a quiet street with not much pedestrian traffic unlike the rest of the town. It is still close to the main square, cathedral, museums and all other interesting sites. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a view to a beautiful little garden below. The breakfast was OK with cheese, pastries, fruit and good coffee. Our only complaint (hence minus one star on facilities) would be non-existent WiFi in the room, it was extremely slow and was losing connection all the time.

Had a fantastic 5 night stay. It is situated in a quiet location but within easy each of the Campo. The room and bathroom was very spacious and were within keeping of the Palazzo! The garden and views were a great place to relax at the end of the day. The complimentary breakfast was an added bonus and lovely to have in the garden.

Palazzo Ravizza is beautifully appointed hotel. Wonderful rain shower head and soft cozy bed linens. The breakfast had a wide variety of sweet and savory with fresh fruit, baked bread, tarts, and more. The hotel is walkable to restaurants and shopping within the walls of the old town.

Breakfast with amazing view on the terrace. Fresh homemade bread, butter, coffee and we with my sister were in love with the spinach pie. To be honest, we were very upset stay short time in this beautiful place and decided comeback for longer time. We were sleep as a baby, good quality linen, towels and the shower with highly water pressure. peace and quiet made us calmed and so relaxed. Good place for slow relaxation.

Two things that really made our stay at the Palazzo Ravizza exceptional were the charming terrace with a view of the Tuscan countryside, and the included continental breakfast offered in the morning, including plenty of drip coffee! ☕️ Our room was also undeniably European, with a painted ceiling and rustic furniture. The AC was sufficient, considering the daytime high on our visit was 100°. Service from the staff was very helpful, and they even called a taxi for us. The shower was hot with strong water pressure. The architecture of the hotel had some historic charm as well, with leaded glass doors, black and white marble floors, and vaulted ceilings in the public spaces. But that terrace... 😍
