It was dingy from the minute we walked in the front door. The non-smoking room smelled like smoke, the desk chair was so dirty, we didn't want to sit on it, the mirrors were smeared and there were fruit flies flying around. Then when we went to look at the indoor pool, it was under construction and there was no water in it! We literally checked out before we unpacked anything. When we expressed our concerns to the staff, we were told it is only a 2 star hotel and it's cheap, so another words, you get what you pay for! He told us we would be charged for the room because we used 1 towel to wipe our hands and one to put on the dirty desk chair! My advice would be to read the reviews! They were terrible!

Check in was friendly and quick. The motel was outdated and not very clean. The carpet in the room was very dirty. I felt the price was high for the low quality of the room. The pool was also very cold but clean and in working order. The elevator was also unnerving and seemed like it would break at any time.

I picked this hotel because it had a pool and was pet friendly. Unfortunately the hotel and pool was under renovations. The pool was closed, our bath tub was in ruff shape with a shelf broken and very slippery. We were charged extra for the dog which wasn’t shown when I booked the room.

Had to wonder the halls to find the front desk clerk so I could check in. Pool was closed due to a heating issue. No water upon checkin due to a waterline leak. No coffee maker in the room. If your only need/want is a bed, this is the place for you.

Property is under going renovations, which has supplies everywhere. The flooors where very dirty, as were the walls. The bathtub drain was clogged in our room, but the staff didn’t want to do anything but say that they’re sorry about it. The fitness center hours were listed wrong on the door. The were only two treadmills and a stationary cycle, of which only one treadmill actually powered on. They don’t supply many towels for the rooms either, but they did give us two more when we asked. I would give it a poor rating overall!

The pool deck was dirty. The windows were nasty. The carpet in my room was filthy. I wore a pair of white socks and walked around in the room. They were so dirty I didn’t even want to bring them home to wash. The last morning I was there, I awoke and reached for my glasses on the bedside table … there were several bugs crawling around. Apparently they were under the hotel phone because that’s where the fled to when I stirred. The plumbing fixtures were old and need to be replaced. The curtains looked old and very shabby. I’m just so glad I didn’t see those bugs until my last day there. The furniture is old and damaged. The ice machine on my floor was out of order. I didn’t even try the breakfast. The beds were fairly comfortable and the sheets seemed clean. The water pressure was good. The toilet flushed.

Upon check-in, I was assigned a room that was clearly marked as a non-smoking room. It reeked of cigarettes. I was reassigned a second room. This room had virtually no toilet paper, and a bathtub drain that was filled with some sort of debris and hair, clearly not cleaned. It was late and I was tired after 5 1/2 hour drive from Illinois. The first night of my 4 day stay, my ‘neighbors’ partied until I put in a call to the front desk until just after 12:40am. There were shady looking people walking the halls day and night, leaving me feeling extremely unsafe. Not once did I see a maid let alone have my room cleaned. I had to go to the front desk every time I need toilet paper, shampoo, etc. I wanted to find something Redeeming about this hotel. I still haven’t found it. There are way better choices for hotels.

The property was old and outdated. I was expecting to find bed bugs or even roaches but I didn't. It was just old. So l, if you don't like staying at a place that reminds you of your grandparents house don't stay here. If you are willing to sacrifice luxary for price then by all means enjoy!

Wouldn't stay again. Very run-down. Only 2 towels per room, no soap (not fun going back to front desk for things that should just be there after a long day). Breakfast area is tiny and couldn't sit down but a sign also says there will be a fee for taking food back to room. Coffee maker was to be in room but was missing. Mattress was stained, maybe because dogs are allowed? Either save money and get the same for less or spend more.

We had a nice visit. The beds were comfortable. There are multiple places to eat with walking distance. Our only complaint is that the offered breakfast was lacking alot. Only 2 cereals, gravy and biscuits and waffles. The area need to be cleaned .

Close to King's Island theme park, but definitely in an older area with shuttered businesses next door and nearby. The breakfast was lackluster with Sausage Gravy and Biscuits with relatively just runny gravy (very minimal sausage) and the rest of the breakfast was almost barren. On the 3rd morning a large Coaster Camp was staying and they went "all out" and hard boiled a bunch of eggs (the first and only protein available for breakfast). The had signs that bringing breakfast back to the room was a $50 charge - my brother and I laughed because there wasn't' really anything to TAKE back to the room....

Employees were very friendly and helpful, but the property is in major need up upgrades. It was clean, but the furniture is old. And our carpet felt and showed its age. The continental breakfast was minimal. Juice machine broke, only half and half creamer for coffee. Then there was a sign that said if you took any breakfast to your room, you would be charged $50. So you are forced to eat the breakfast downstairs in the lobby. More than likely will not return, but considering the price yoy pay, it was not extremely horrible.
