This hotel is disgusting. The pool smelled like a swamp and was so gross that I couldn't let my kids swim in it, which was a huge disappointment. The room was very old and outdated. The hotel was having some sort of renovations, but it looked like just meeting room and restroom (which may account for the pool swamp smell.) Overall, I don't recommend this hotel for anyone.

The property was convenient for meals to many options on the strip along with being close enough to Maryland for easy access to visit there as well. However-would DEFINITELY request a REAR ROOM on the property as the Street Side is WAY TOO LOUD with traffic and the Indoor Pool was freezing cold and not reasonable to use for swimming-otherwise property is a good choice very clean and reasonably priced if not looking for any frills and fancy amenities

Stayed on 3rd floor. As soon as you walked off the elevator, we could smell marijuana smoke. That is a distinct smell that I can't stand. Then when lying in bed trying to sleep, could smell the weed smoke gain and then later just regular cigarette smoke. It apparently was being done closely to us and must have been coming under our door. For the price we paid, I would have expected better conditions than this.

The room and property was very clean on initial inspection. During the second day I noticed multiple small omissions of service to the room. Little things like replacing ice bucket plastic bag, leaving curtains closed from night. Just little things.

We spent 1 night in a King suite and paid $250. The room was clean but with patches on walls that needed painting. Worse, when we got up in AM and tried to shower we found that while there was a shower head, there was no way to engage it. No fun tryig to shampoo in a small tub. We asked for a discount at the front desk but have received nothing as of yet.

Our room was facing the main road on the second floor. There weren't any privacy/blackout curtains. This allowed the street lighting to shine in our room the entire night. Also, the window was open when we first arrived. It just didn't "feel" safe.

The staff was very nice and efficient. Breakfast was very good. Hotel while clean needed serious updating, caulk around tubs and floors coming off also. No hall entry light in our room totally missing. The windows did not have blackout curtains just sheers and there was a spotlight across the parking lot shining straight into our room.

Our room was very spacious for two people. The breakfast was plentiful with eggs, sausage, fruit and muffins. The lady supplying the breakfast buffet was very nice and energetic. I didn't get her name but she was a plus for the breakfast buffet in Searford, DE. We would stay there again.

The room lobby and property were great as well as the staff, everything clean and tidy,now starting at 1 am all through 4 am doors were slamming nonstop all around me,my bed was next to window and people were loading and unloading vehicles all throughout the night,and every time about 30 times they would beep their alarm for their cars and all can be heard in my bed,30 beeps and slams of car door and room doors all night,no respect and paper thin insulation only allowed me for 3 hours of sleep,I will never stay there again even if it's free,it was nearly enough to make a sane man insane,would have been more peaceful laying down a cot on the side of the highway

Spoke to two front desk people. They were both excellent. There was a wonderful breakfast attendant, a little older, who went into the kitchen to grab a couple of yogurts for me even though the breakfast was closed. She mentioned she had a couple of complete plates made up in case there were a couple more late comers. All three employees cared. Thank you for hiring them and making my visit a little nicer.

Location was dated but overall pretty decent for the price. Check in was strange. We waited for over half an hour for someone to come check us in. When they finally arrived it was a girl and guy coming in from opposite directions looking flustered and suspicious. Kind of off putting after a long trip.

The hotel was clean and well kept. The staff however didnt appear to be very fruendly or accommodating. First off let me admit, I did oversleep til about 11:15am, housekeeping knocked on the door and i told them i would be out in a few minutes. Almost 60 seconds later the front desk is blowing up the phone. I also informed them i overslept and would be out shortly. They called and knocked on the door every 2 minutes telling me checkout was at 11. Yes i overslept but they could have been kinder and more patient.

I didn't have a problem with this hotel until I had an additional charge on my credit card!!! I noticed an additional charge on my credit card Monday morning. After combing through their policies it looks like it was either pet fee or smoking fee charge. Since we didn't have a pet with us, I assume it was a smoking fee. We did NOT smoke in our room!!! Neither my husband or I are smokers. Someone on our floor was definitely smoking cause I could smell it along with marijuana. I’ve learned from experience to travel with air neutralizer and air freshener due to getting rooms that smell of smoke or marijuana or just being musty. My room was sprayed heavily several times due to the smells that were coming from other rooms. I've tried contacting the hotel for an explanation of the additional charges but have received no response! It's a totally unacceptable to not receive a response but they had no problem charging me for something we did not do!!!

i got there at 230 my room wasn’t ready the housekeeper still had 4 rooms to clean and they thought i was gonna wait 315 my room still not ready they gave excuse rooms had a lot of checkouts that day and that’s why they were behind inexcusable and not my issue when you tell me 3 pm check in that room needs to be ready by 3 no lame excuses i didn’t feel it was as clean as it should be ! dog was barking off and on people were noisy walking the floor ! and way too far from rehobeth beach i tried to cancel and your attendant told me i could not i explained its an hour from where i would be she didn’t care ! so i drove an hour 4 times back and forth to get to hotel to go to ocean city and rehobeth and i am highly annoyed they wouldn’t let me out of it when expedia charged me 12.00 to give me option to cancel and i made the appt that day sat the 2nd ! will never come back there again so annoyed

The property was pretty good. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable and the bedding was nice quality. Lamar at check in was very pleasant and helpful. Was only there for a quick overnight stop, but it certainly did the trick.

Wonderful hotel with very friendly staff. Clean and conveniently located on Sussex highway. Easy access to local diners and shopping. My only issue is something out of the hotel's control: the lot right next to the hotel. It's mostly a pull off for temporary stops for trucks. Otherwise i love this hotel.

We resevered a room with a king bed and sleeper sofa. We were given a room with 2 queen beds. Hotel was advertised as having breakfast, but hot food serving stations were not operating, waffle machine and juice machine not working.

The stay is always comfortable once in the room. Two complaints though. Breakfast should go later than 9am. When you’re away not everyone wants to get up early. The other issue I have is there is always the smell of pot/weed in the elevators and on some of the staff. I don’t care who smokes what on their time but I shouldn’t have to smell it
