Quite a bit of exposed wiring in the gym… looking dangerous. Hot tub jets were broke and we called in advance to see if it worked. Desk receptionist Wes was wonderful. He said hot tub could be turned on if we come to the desk to ask but the girl who was on the night shift said she couldn’t turn it on. Room could have been cleaner.. A lot of bugs in the window sill and other small dirty details but nothing horrible. Breakfast was excellent!

It wasn’t worth the cost. The cleanliness and comfortability was average. We picked it because it had the indoor pool amenity for the little one to wear out some energy but the water was freezing and had something floating on the surface so we didn’t get in.

This property was way too expensive for what you got. The pool was not kept up. The hot tub was not working. When we got to the room the tv only had a few channels working. This was very disappointing as we were wanting to watch before bed. When I tried to call the front desk the phone wasnt working. I had to call from my cell phone and was told the tv channels were out in most of the rooms and that the phones had been out for awhile. I wish we were told this sooner. She did try to find us a different room but there were none available. She also was going to have a guy come out but it was so late (930pm) and we didnt want to be bothered. The breakfast was really good though. Overall, I was disappointed with the stay for how much I paid ($230).

The beds were very comfortable. It was a convenient location, easy to get to off the highway. Also has shopping and food very close by. The indoor pool was not heated. It was cold. The hot tub was not in operation. I was really looking forward to a nice relaxing soak after a long day of driving. The elevator was scary! We could not control the temp in the room.

I did not like that the elevator was out of service, and no one said anything, and they still had the 3rd floor room listed. I am 68 years old and had to carry my stuff up three floors. I told the front desk that I wanted to cancel and rebook somewhere else and was told I could go ahead but I was going to have to go deal with Expedia. I made my reservations through Travelocity, next time I will call before I book any rooms I was very disappointed

Unfortunately, the room we stayed in for a couple of hours on Friday-Saturday August 23-24, had bed bugs. This was discovered in the middle of the night. Andrew, the front desk worker was very helpful in getting us out of the room and running our clothes and items through the dryer. He was the lone bright spot at this otherwise terrible experience.

I checked in and the room I was given the carpet was sticky and the tub was dirty. I asked to be placed in a different room and was given the one next door which had not been serviced. There were towels on the bathroom floor, and across the toilet-sand/dirt all over the entryway, used chewing tobacco at the end of the bed, and the bed was unmade. I took a video, showers the front desk and requested a 3rd room. That room was clean. Elevator floor slammed every time it raised or lowered, and felt like it was a gamble every time we got on it. Workers said it was inspected and nothing wrong.

Generally I have pretty good experiences with Holiday inn, but this one was a bit less than stellar. Overall, the place was clean and presentable. The room was decent size and overall clean, but that is where the good stuff stops. The bed was terrible! I woke up with a stiff neck and back pain. The bed was so broken down that the only way to describe it would be to say there was a 1 foot deep hole in the mattress. I am NOT overweight or unusually big. I was tired when i got in, which is why I probably didn't notice it upon arrival. There is NO WAY that the staff could miss it though - it was really like a foot deep hole. Totally unacceptable. Mentioned it to desk person when i checked out, and she was basically dismissive and seemed not to care.

Easy access on and off I70 but close enough that you do hear some traffic from the freeway. Didn’t keep us awake, though. Nice breakfast choices. Room was clean and comfy. Negatives: kinda noisy. Could hear noise from other rooms. Bath looked clean but caulking around tub needed to be cleaned and/or replaced.

Upon check in the guy at the desk offered no information about the facility such as where the elevators could be found, about the breakfast the next day, etc. Every other Holiday Inn we have stayed at the information about the facility was given at check in. When we got in our room my husband went to shower I sat on the bed to relax. When I got off the bed I noticed my clothes were damp. The bed looked fine when we entered the room. Now I’m confused how I have damp clothes. I pulled the top cover back in the bed and saw a very large wet looking area. So at this point I’m not sure what kind of fluid I am dealing with! I called the front desk and was told they would switch our room. We were given the room on the first floor next to the pantry.A little after 5am alot of loud banging started which I assume was preparation for the breakfast. I need to add that wil be the dirtiest Holday Inn I have ever stayed at . The towels did not look clean and there was hair in the sink on the counter top. It looked like someone puked by the elevator door. At check out I was asked how the stay was and I said not great. The guy at the desk said sorry to hear that. Never questioned as to why we didn’t have a great stay.

The room is very clean and the beds and shower are great. The shower, however, seemed “very” slippery so everyone needs to be careful there. Staff: Desk Clerk was unfriendly and not helpful. When I asked if we could have another room because the one assigned backed up to the elevator, he said “I don't know why you feel entitled to a room change when you used a third-party booking company-Expedia. When I told him I was an IHG 1 Rewards member he said, “then why did you use Expedia to save a few bucks”? Quite the attitude! Hopefully I will speak with the General Manager in the morning about him. I won’t share the gentleman’s name here, but I know it, and hopefully he will receive additional customer service training.

1st of all the 1st room I got the door was open and it was not completely cleaned for a new guest. Then as I was retrieving my items to take to the new room some random guest decided he wanted to walk into that room. Kinda freaked us out. The tv reception in the new room was a joke. So morning comes and went to shower and guess what..... water would not come on at all, plus even if it did the lever that allows you to turn on shower head was broken. Not ideal considering we had a 8 hr trip ahead of us. So informed front desk of issues and pretty much got a shrug of the shoulders. Went to eat breakfast and NO HOT FOODS, not a big deal but combined with everything else it was just icing on the cake. Needless to say that was the absolute worst Holiday Inn Express we have been in. If there was a way of getting my money back I would go after it, but considering the experience I probably would get a attitude that it was our fault

We booked this hotel for a quick overnight trip as we trekked from Colorado to Ohio. Really nice location right off of the freeway. We got in late, so it was nice to have the nearby Dennys open for a late dinner. No issues with our room. Elevator was being worked on the following day, but we were made aware upfront and it wasn’t an issue for us. My biggest compliment, though, is for the breakfast. Most hotel breakfasts are just sort of “meh”. The options were standard (eggs, bacon, pancakes, biscuits and gravy) and some other grab and go items, but the quality of the food was much better than most hotels. It was actually good and not just passable. Would stay here again:-)

Clean, clean, CLEAN. The only thing I did not like is this. They said "there is construction so the door by your room is unlocked" That was GREAT for loading and unloading. But I did not like that an outer door was unlocked bc I live in a big city and I am paranoid. I am from a small town and know better. It was totally safe. So that is my only complaint and it is mitigated by the fact that she warned me in advance. Holiday Inns have come a LONG way since they were a joke when I was a kid and I depend on them now for road trips. This was one was EXCEPTIONALLY clean and the staff were great and the pool, the gym. yay - even for one night. But it is RIGHT in front of a Walmart. I did not use it but was SO EXCITED to be able to - LOL. And walking distance from a gas station. GREAT road side stop to plan or if you are lucky enough to get off the road in the rain when you didn\'t think you were going to stop .. this is the one. Very happy on our last day of driving. Plenty of green grass to walk doggie too.
