We picked this for proximity to freeway traveling north to Duluth. That’s good for that. Seems like a safe property with good parking. It’s currently undergoing a renovation with lots of plastic hanging, so you definitely should not pick this if you’re looking for a destination property for a wedding or such. It was OK for an overnight stay. I hope they get things cleaned up quickly or cannot recommend. Breakfast is fair. Gym is very rundown and needs equipment updates and repairs.

We just returned home to Florida after staying here for a 5 day visit to MN for a family reunion. Although we were only at the hotel to sleep each night, we found our room and beds comfortable. Parking is very convenient; they have parking in both the front and back of the building. It's located in an area with plenty of shopping and dining options. It's also conveniently located off major highways in the area, which made getting around the Twin Cities area pretty easy. The front desk staff were very professional and friendly. We would stay here again.

Staff was friendly, check-in/check-out was seamless. Room was clean and spacious. Hot breakfast was great. My only complaint is that when I went to use the hot tub, it was very dirty. It looked as if it had not been cleaned in some time as there was visible debris on the bottom and it looked discolored in general. Needless to say, I did not enter the hot tub!

The hotel room was clean & quite at night. There is a restaurant attached to it that was pretty good but there is also a different restaurant within walking distance. Unfortunately it's not really near anything else. However lots of parking spots, an elevator & a pool.

Property appeared old and tired, and in need of remodeling. Many chairs in the breakfast area and our room were stained. Parking lot was dark, some lights were not on. Common areas, especially the elevator, needed cleaning. Breakfast options were limited and uninspiring, but adequate. Staff were very nice and helpful. Our room itself was clean, and it met our needs.

I am extremely sensitive and allergic to mold. My room was damp and the humidity was way too high in my room. It was worse than the hallway for some reason. I was forced to leave the window open even though the air quality outside was at dangerous levels due to forest fires. I reacted both Nights and had to take so much bennadryl just to keep from going to the hospital. I really struggled in this hotel and will likely not stay at Best Western again

Initially, upon arrival, our room felt like it had just been rained on. I have COPD and I could barely breathe. Just that was the reason for the low ratings. But we called the front desk and things changed. Initially they offered us a different room. But we were tired and had just unpacked, so we went with their plan B. They put in a small dehumidifier and hoped that would fix the problem. It was still very humid in the morning. We stopped at the front desk. The handyman took action. He got a heavy duty larger dehumidifier and a ionizer, for when we left. Amazingly, we came back to a what seemed to be a new room! We had to spill out the water several times a day but the room was just fine. This is the third year we’ve there and I think we’ll come back again.

The entire facility was filthy. The hot tub had a large amount of debris settled on the bottom and was absolutely disgusting. There was debris in all the hallways as if they haven’t been vacuumed in weeks. The room odor was atrocious and unbearable and the window had to be open for fresh air.

When we arrived there was no one at the desk and no sign. We waited several minutes before I finally looked and found the person sitting in the back on their phone. The hotel and room were clean which was great! The shower soap dispensers did not work tho and the breakfast food was cold. We’ve stayed at this hotel many times and I feel it is slowly going downhill, which is unfortunate. It’s all in the details.

The from desk greater was very sweet and check in went smoothly. The room was clean the only complaint I had was the pillows were small and uncomfortable. The breakfast was ok just would have liked waffles and bacon because the pancakes were very thin and sticky. Overall I would give our stay a 9 out of 10.

For our purposes it was a good location. It was also nice to have a Green Mill restaurant attached to the property. The staff was pleasant to work with and overall it is a nice property. However, it was too expensive for the amenities that were offered.

We have stayed here several times. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful and professional. The location is great and having a good restaurant connected makes it very convenient. Can get anywhere in the Twin Cities in a short time with 694 at your backdoor.

The staff was excellent and helpful. Older hotel but in reasonable shape. My lady was stuck between the two entry doors as one was stuck. Easy fix. The restaurant was turned over to a franchise. They were unprepared for the level of business the Back to the 50's Car Show. would produce. Ran out of food items and some normal alcohol requests.. Imagine they will not make the mistake again.

Problems with the roof and leaking the entire time we were there. No hot breakfast available due to the leaks, which was the main reason we stayed there. Rooms were dusty and dirt in the corner of the bathroom. Asked for a later checkout and was denied. Only two cars in the parking lot when I checked out. Never once was offered a discount or credit for the inconvenience with my stay, even being a Rewards member.
