Red Roof Inn Columbus West - Hilliard

Upon arrival and checking in my debit card wasn’t working since we were in a different state. The staff at the desk was very very helpful with this and let me pay in cash without any hassle. The room we were in was very clean. The location was very convenient with shopping all around and was right off the interstate. Would definitely return if I’m in the area again.

We arrive 2 1/2 hours after check-in time in our room was not ready because it had not been cleaned. I requested a refund and was told that was completed yet they would not provide me any paperwork. I have yet to receive a refund. There were random people hanging out that appeared to maybe have lived there or something. I do not at all recommend this place. We ended up driving five hours for a concert and then five hours home. It was absolutely terrible.

Perfect mid stop on the way to Chicago

Upon first impression, things were clean. The longer I looked, the more worrisome things appeared. Linens and towels were laundered, lingering dog paw prints were apparent on the bed sheets. Surfaces were clear, carpet right when opening the door was a bit grungy. Driveway around property cracked, somewhat potholed. On my last night, I spotted ants on the AC unit. At no point during my stay was the room made up, yet I’m unsure if that was part of the reason my rate was the way it was? That said, easy access to restaurants and supermarkets in the area.
