We arrived at 10pm and check in was smooth with friendly reception. Plenty of parking, even with lots of rooms I use. Second floor room was quiet and we did not hear any noise from other rooms. Fast, easy check out with, “have a great day” from staff as we left.

We booked to have a swim party. As we were checking in they told they had closed the pool on a Saturday to add chemicals. We were treated very rudely by the foreign staff. We eventually left and went to another hotel.

So I booked this hotel versus some of the other hotels in the area that were comparabky priced as they had some negative reviews about the pool, cockroaches, or bedbugs. Basically I wanted a clean hotel. The staff was nice as they let us check out at noon the next day instead of 11 as we asked the night before for no additional fee. However, we got there at maybe 5 PM on a Saturday and they were already out of towels, and when we went swimming the next morning, they continued to be out of pool towels. There is also a dirty diaper wrapped up by where the pool towels should be from Saturday evening and continued to be there Sunday when we checked out. I told the staff about this and they basically shrugged it off. The beds in the bedroom have space underneath them, which I don't enjoy in a hotel because things can get lost but underneath that space, there was what I hope was part of a chocolate cake. I did not want to sniff it to find out. So the positive things about this hotel are that the staff seemed nice. The room was ready when we got there the breakfast buffet had a waffle maker, and was on par with what I would expect from a continental breakfast. The TV in the room seemed fine, although it was at a weird angle And the beds were comfortable enough. The swimming pool was a little small, but it was warm enough and it was open. There was no hot tub by the pool.

Wonderful, clean, comfortable beds, awesome shower, delicious breakfasts, workers friendly and efficient knowledgeable, reasonable and would stay here again. They took such great care of their comfort inn and suites so clean and inside pool nice and clean had elevators so no going up stairs.

The first room had mouse droppings, which made us wary about the second room assigned to us, where the bedspreads were stained, the desk had sticky spots, the towels were questionable, etc. The staff was very kind and understanding, but overall, the cleanliness was sorely lacking.

I was very disappointed by this hotel. When we checked into the room it smelled awful, a mix of weed and stale air. Bedding was ok but pillows had a smell to them as well. when we went into the bathroom we found a dirty rag still hanging in the shower. The most disappointing experience however would have to be the breakfast. We got down to the breakfast area early on the second morning and saw the employees putting fresh food on top of food that had most definitely been there since the morning before. Needless to say we won't be going back.

The only negative thing we noticed was that the carpet in front of the mini-fridge was heavily soiled and needed cleaning. Everything else was clean, fantastic, and in excellent working order. We had a comfortable stay.

The first impression walking in was great — the lobby looked nice and the front staff was friendly and welcoming. However, once I got to the room, things went downhill. There were quite a few stink bugs, the bed sheets had visible stains, and the tub was stopped up. The room also didn’t smell very good and had a faint hint of smoke. On top of that, the breakfast was disappointing and not worth it. Overall, great staff and lobby area, but the room cleanliness and quality need major improvement.

Moldy mildew smell overwhelming as you enter front door. Bathroom floor was not swept well, wrappers on floor, black stain on some towels, rust around fixtures in tub. Went to get breakfast at 8:30 all tables were dirty, no cups for coffee. food all over breakfast bar, waffle batter all over the dispenser. A guy came out & said he was going to close up breakfast & I told him that my daughter was coming. He said he would keep it open another 10 min. Then he disappeared without bringing cups requested. There were no eggs left & no syrup for waffles. We checked out & went to get breakfast.

this is a very nice motel. Room and lobby area looked very clean. As was the breakfast area. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short by 1 day due to upcoming snowstorm. I was really hoping to get a credit for the 2nd night that we did not stay. I don't care about the money back - but would love to get a credit back for one night in the future here. My daughter lives in the area so we will definitely be back! I spoke with the manager on duty who told me I'd hear back in 2 hours (Saturday morning at 9 am) but still have heard nothing.

The one positive aspect was a staff member who was kind and helpful, and I appreciated that. However, the most concerning part of my stay was when another guest was mistakenly given a key to my room and walked in while I was there. When I reported it to the front desk, the response was very nonchalant — just a brief “sorry,” and no one followed up to ensure my safety or comfort. Overall, I stayed here out of necessity, but it was not a good experience, and I wouldn’t choose this property again.

Not a bad place but definitely showing its age. Clean, fellow at the front desk was pleasant, bed was comfortable. Shower was a bit on the wimpy side and the tub itself was well worn. Due for an update.

this is a very nice motel. Room and lobby area looked very clean. As was the breakfast area. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short by 1 day due to upcoming snowstorm. I was really hoping to get a credit for the 2nd night that we did not stay. I don't care about the money back - but would love to get a credit back for one night in the future here. My daughter lives in the area so we will definitely be back! I spoke with the manager on duty who told me I'd hear back in 2 hours (Saturday morning at 9 am) but still have heard nothing.

My stay was disappointing overall. The property was not clean — the bedding had stains, and there were numerous stink bugs and flies. I had to change rooms because the first one smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Breakfast was decent, but there were a lot of flies in the dining area, which made it uncomfortable. The one positive aspect was a staff member who was kind and helpful, and I appreciated that. However, the most concerning part of my stay was when another guest was mistakenly given a key to my room and walked in while I was there. When I reported it to the front desk, the response was very nonchalant — just a brief “sorry,” and no one followed up to ensure my safety or comfort. Overall, I stayed here out of necessity, but it was not a good experience, and I wouldn’t choose this property again.

Moldy mildew smell overwhelming as you enter front door. Bathroom floor was not swept well, wrappers on floor, black stain on some towels, rust around fixtures in tub. Went to get breakfast at 8:30 all tables were dirty, no cups for coffee. food all over breakfast bar, waffle batter all over the dispenser. A guy came out & said he was going to close up breakfast & I told him that my daughter was coming. He said he would keep it open another 10 min. Then he disappeared without bringing cups requested. There were no eggs left & no syrup for waffles. We checked out & went to get breakfast.

The room was in poor condition. Sink cracked, black stains on the carpet, fingerprints on the bathroom door, leftover food in the refrigerator. Staff at check in seemed uninterested in checking us in. Didn’t explain the $50 deposit until I asked why the bill was higher than I anticipated. The only thing we did not like was the breakfast area it was NOT KEEP CLEAN . No one wiped off the tables the whole time breakfast was being served. They did not wipe the steam table off nor the waffle maker area. The waffle area never had any clean cups to get the batter with. The coffee cups were not crept stocked nor the juice glasses

I am submitting a complaint for this hotel to Macon County Health Department! The lack of cleanliness and sanitization throughout the facility was dispicable!! My friend and I traveled from other states to Decatur/Forsyth for our 50 yr. High School class reunion. We were greeted by this Comfort Inn with ANT's everywhere along the buffet board, FOOD debris on counters, tables AND upon opening the chaffing dish warmers at 10 pm, I found filthy, left over food particles from that morning. These were the receptacles used for the following morning's breakfast buffet!!! USA??? Seriously? The elevator, carpet, walls and our ROOM showed extensive filth, stains,... it's a long list of disgusting findings. Industry wide, health & sanitation standards were NOT even close!! I photographed certain area's for documentation for the health department. I am unable to upload on this desk top att. but hope to make them available asap. My friend and I left immediately after that one night, relocating to a different hotel which met any and all health & sanitation standard & safety codes as well as our personal travel & service expectations! Apparantly we are not the first guests to abruptly leave this Comfort Inn. Hotel.com, I expect a FULL reimbursement for this offensive experience AND I highly recommend this hotel be REMOVED from your list of available facilities. I'll be surprized if they are not shut down and or at least, fined & probated!

Well I just want to start off by saying pictures are almost always deceiving! Read reviews on everything always! This hotel smelled bad & was very outdated, staff acted like we were annoying them by asking for more towels/blankets & not to mention we waited HOURS to even get them! I’ll never stay at this hotel again it gave off creepy vibes & just overall dirty! Don’t stay here.
