Sleep Inn Decatur I-72

This was a dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been in. When does were open windows and people were smoking marijuana? It was going through the whole building. everything was dirty. The floor hasn’t been mopped in months. Windows are dirty. When you first walk in it was disgusting. We actually left and paid for a different hotel. Do not even try to stay here. It’s bad.

Hot tub was out of order but the heated pool was relaxing . We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful ...even our 5 year old son talked and laughed with them over breakfast .

Bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows. Front desk lady wasn’t pleasant. When asking about the hot tub. It’s been broken for a long time. One of the main reasons we picked that hotel. Did not like booking through Hotels.com as if the refund issue.

The elevator was a rough and scary ride. Just 3 floors. It had no inspection label that is required by law. The window in the room would not close tight-the wind whistled through the entire stay. The complimentary breakfast was empty with 2 hours left and no one around to fill it. Will not stay there again.

Easy check-in process allowed me to go straight to bed.
