This rental was the ideal home for our large family over the course of a wedding weekend. Lots of room to spread out and sleep comfortably. Plenty of bathrooms to prevent the shower logjam. Even a separate solarium for the bride's prep out of sight. The pool and pool house added outdoor fun and space for brunch and informal gatherings around the formal wedding festivities. Skip the hotel room block and do yourself a favor and rent here.

We stayed at the Morgan Hughes House for my son’s graduation from Ursinus College. The property has a fascinating history and the grounds are beautiful, a private sanctuary of nature. Everyone loved the pool and pool house. The house was like a treasure hunt with so many bedrooms, bathrooms and closets. We all loved it. We enjoyed the many species of birds, the rabbits, deer and a fox. Mary Ann went out of her way to make us comfortable and was a delightful host.

The house was incredibly spacious, easily fitting our entire group with extra room to relax and spread out. The pool house added a perfect touch, offering privacy while still being conveniently close to the main house.The property itself is full of character and rich history — every room felt like a little discovery. We even had a peaceful encounter with a deer right outside the window, which made the setting feel extra special.What truly set this stay apart was the outstanding property manager. She was kind, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure our trip (which was for a family funeral) was smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. Her attentiveness made a difficult time feel much lighter.Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a unique, comfortable, and well-managed stay in Lansdale.

Beautiful, unique historic house that allowed large spaces for the gathering of many people. It had a well supplied kitchen with every utensil and pan you could possibly need. Linens for bedrooms was ample. Also it has a beautiful neighborhood for taking walks. Thank you for providing for all we needed.

My husband and I and our dog stayed over the Fourth of July holiday. MaryAnn was a wonderful host, providing goodies and a lovely chat when we arrived. It felt very comforting upon arrival. She is a wonderful person. Our near by family loved visiting and the Pool/Pool house. The young people especially loved the history of each room of the historical home. I found i missed comfy furniture since i have a painful lower back and need a cane to walk. The young people loved the pool, but the railing is a little loose and stairs too deep for people who may be handicapped. We also were very grateful that we could use the grill and have our dog vacation with us. We had a wonderful experience and even had a view of fireworks from the high school across the street. Very nice experience !

This home has some interesting history with it. It is like living in a museum with modern elements. Each room is unique. There is a pool. The pool house has refrigerator, stove, pool table, and other games as well. The hostess is super responsive, as are the owners if you need anything. I would recommend this home to anyone who enjoys architecture, history, or just getting away in a unique home.

Awesome place to stay if you have a larger group. Comfortably slept everyone in our group with their own bed. Lots of room to get together (pool house and dining room) so we could be together to celebrate. Plenty of parking and room for everyone. Would stay here again.

The Morgan-Hughes Homestead is an exceptionally well-preserved historic home. The pool down the lane was a big hit for our family. The rooms are spacious so there was plenty of room for the toddler to play, even with the lovely antiques. The house was clean and we had a great time!

What a great historical home! The property was beautiful, we mostly came for the pool and it definitely did not disappoint, the pool and game room area was definitely the highlight of our stay. I have to give a Huge shoutout to MaryAnn who went above and beyond on our stay, she made our vacation possible with permission for our pooch to stay and enjoy our family time that we wanted and I can’t tell you how pleasant she was. The historical home had a lot to offer and a lot of space with everything that you need, around the house are fun facts and trinkets and a sign in guest book was fun to read. The back yard was full of deer and plenty of space for the family and our dog. It was very quiet and prefect for our little get away. Shops were near by too. Thank you again for letting us stay at this beautiful home. And thank you for letting us bring our furry family friend, we never leave home without him!

My family and I were thrilled with our stay. The eighteenth-century property was a perfect complement to our visits to Valley Forge, Independence Hall, and the Liberty Bell. It gave our grandchildren an opportunity to be immersed in the period, and of course they enjoyed the pool. There are so many interesting and beautiful artifacts in the house, and it took us a full week to discover them all (or most of them). Thank you for a comfortable stay in this well-maintained home.

This historic house was very functional for our extended family group. The kitchen was well-provisioned with everything needed for cooking. The house is not very well maintained, though. It was not very clean and there are some definite mold/mildew issues.

Came for daughter’s wedding. Size of property adequate for large family gathering, but lacked comfortable beds and adequate seating. Lighting in bedrooms and bathrooms was insufficient for ladies to apply makeup or for men to shave. Roof leaked in the first floor en suite bath, and cold water knob in downstairs half bath did not work properly. Property generally deteriorating due to deferred maintenance, and kitchen cabinets and utensils and cutlery were not clean. Very Disappointing stay for the price.

The house and property are very cool. It’s like stepping back in time. It was a great experience but it wasn’t very friendly to lounging around. If you’re on the go like we were it’ll be a good fit.

We stayed at the Morgan Hughes House for my son’s graduation from Ursinus College. The property has a fascinating history and the grounds are beautiful, a private sanctuary of nature. Everyone loved the pool and pool house. The house was like a treasure hunt with so many bedrooms, bathrooms and closets. We all loved it. We enjoyed the many species of birds, the rabbits, deer and a fox. Mary Ann went out of her way to make us comfortable and was a delightful host.

We stayed at this beautiful historic home in Lansdale, PA, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was incredibly spacious, easily fitting our entire group with extra room to relax and spread out. The pool house added a perfect touch, offering privacy while still being conveniently close to the main house.The property itself is full of character and rich history — every room felt like a little discovery. We even had a peaceful encounter with a deer right outside the window, which made the setting feel extra special.What truly set this stay apart was the outstanding property manager. She was kind, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure our trip (which was for a family funeral) was smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. My husband and I and our dog stayed over the Fourth of July holiday. MaryAnn was a wonderful host, providing goodies and a lovely chat when we arrived. It felt very comforting upon arrival. She is a wonderful person. Our near by family loved visiting and the Pool/Pool house. The young people especially loved the history of each room of the historical home. I found i missed comfy furniture since i have a painful lower back and need a cane to walk. The young people loved the pool, but the railing is a little loose and stairs too deep for people who may be handicapped. We also were very grateful that we could use the grill and have our dog vacation with us. We had a wonderful experience and even had a view of fireworks from the high school across the street. Very nice experience !

We stayed here with our adult children and their spouses while attending my MIL’s 90th birthday celebration. Check-in was a breeze and the host was immediately responsive to our few questions. The property is exactly as depicted in the photos and we had a marvelous time exploring the grounds and the nooks and crannies of this historic home. We’d stay again for sure.

The property was super interesting! There was so much history and the layout was fun for the whole family. The property outside is beautiful, and the pool house was a ton of fun. The host was super kind, messaging with us regularly when we needed something.

This home has some interesting history with it. It is like living in a museum with modern elements. Each room is unique. There is a pool. The pool house has refrigerator, stove, pool table, and other games as well. The hostess is super responsive, as are the owners if you need anything. I would recommend this home to anyone who enjoys architecture, history, or just getting away in a unique home.

We visitedour daughter and visited the historical sites around Philly and to see the cherry blossoms. The Morgan-Hughes Manor was so fun to explore! If you stay here be sure to look at the 150 year old books, pictures and descriptions that are left out for you to view. The hosts were very helpful when we had questions. We stayed so busy we didn’t even have time to visit the community pool house.

My family and I were thrilled with our stay. The eighteenth-century property was a perfect complement to our visits to Valley Forge, Independence Hall, and the Liberty Bell. It gave our grandchildren an opportunity to be immersed in the period, and of course they enjoyed the pool. There are so many interesting and beautiful artifacts in the house, and it took us a full week to discover them all (or most of them). Thank you for a comfortable stay in this well-maintained home.

Traveled from North Carolina to attend large reunion to Celebrate my father's 100th birthday. The estate comfortably held our immediate family of 8 and we were able to host a nice gathering at the pool on Friday night. Location was great and loved the vintage home. I grew up in Lansdale and never knew about the estate. I look forward to booking again in the future. Very good visit!

Nice location for our stay. The age gives it a pub like feeling. All the rooms are very good size. And the two half baths on the first floor are a nice feature. Good value with character.

What a great historical home! The property was beautiful, we mostly came for the pool and it definitely did not disappoint, the pool and game room area was definitely the highlight of our stay. I have to give a Huge shoutout to MaryAnn who went above and beyond on our stay, she made our vacation possible with permission for our pooch to stay and enjoy our family time that we wanted and I can’t tell you how pleasant she was. The historical home had a lot to offer and a lot of space with everything that you need, around the house are fun facts and trinkets and a sign in guest book was fun to read. The back yard was full of deer and plenty of space for the family and our dog. It was very quiet and prefect for our little get away. Shops were near by too. Thank you again for letting us stay at this beautiful home. And thank you for letting us bring our furry family friend, we never leave home without him!

This house was perfect for our needs. Even though it was quite cold when we were there (mid-December), the heating in the home was great. We loved playing pool in the pool house (which also had heat). Having all the rooms and bathrooms made our party of 8 very comfortable. The pictures were quite bright compared to the home which felt a bit darker than pictured (though again it was winter). They supplied plenty of dishware, paper supplies, soaps, shampoos, etc. We cooked and baked while there (a bit of a scavenger hunt but found the things we needed). Great location near stores and restaurants and very close to the turnpike. It snowed the night before we left which made for a beautiful end to our trip. The owner was very responsive throughout. We loved exploring the intricacies of each room and the historical information about the home and property!

We felt we were living in a piece of history. We enjoyed learning about the home after we arrived.We had space for our family to enjoy being together while not being cramped. We could be together and find room to be alone if needed. Great location for why we stayed in the area.
