Great location at the end of the main strip in Perce. We had dinner in the restaurant with a great view. However no elevator, so not accessible for those unable to do stairs. And no air conditioning (fan in the room to regulate temperature).

Aucune plage, la plage a été rempli avec des roches. Il n'y avait pas d'accès a une galerie pour s'asseoir a notre étage, elles sont toutes reliées a une chambre. La chambre est très propre. Personnel très gentil. Le service au restaurant est long et aucune climatisation. Accès au Wi-Fi sans coupures. L'hôtel est a l'extrémité de Percé ce qui en fait un endroit assez tranquille.

Points positifs : Hotel très bien situé à l’entree de Percé avec une vue magnifique sur le roché. La tenue de la chambre durant le séjour (ménage, changement serviettes, rangement) étaient impeccable. Merci aux personnels de chambre. Accueil et gestion clientèle très professionnels. Points négatifs : Hôtel sans ascenseur, donc peu pratique quand chambre à l’étage. Insonorisation phonique entre chambre à revoir et l’insolation, car la température intérieur de la chambre en journée monte à 28 degrés (alors qu’il ne fait que 23 dehors) et qu’il est obligé de mettre la climatisation pour faire baisser la température. Parking grand mais sur lequel il n’est pas toujours possible de trouver une place pour les clients de l’hôtel, car l’hôtel possède un restaurant ouvert à tout public et de nombreuses places de parking sont prises en soirée par des clients du restaurant.

Staff as great at check in. The room is clean and the bed in relatively new and comfortable. Superb view of the Rocher Percé. The unit is essentially a well renovated motel. It does not qualify for a hotel therefore too pricy for what you get in return. Cleanliness could be improved. A garbage can and beer can was left at the entrence of the room.

The hotel was old the rooms are terrible bad floors bathrooms are old and tub and shower not very clean - the bad was not level as the floors are not level- the mattress was so old and had very bad bumpy areas and paquetes of low areas -pilos where okay but did not smell fresh- Worse of all the staff were extremely rude if you asked a question in English they responded sorry I don’t speak English -you will have to Waite till we get someone here that speaks English…. Not very acomodating when we told them that we need it a better room they told us a was that or nothing - in general we travel for 40 years now all over the world - this was the worse hotel we ever stay on our vacation - PS we left after two nights to a better place

Our check-in at Riotel Percé was smooth, and the staff was friendly, which we appreciated. However, the room itself left much to be desired, especially since we were traveling with a toddler. Non-Canadians should know before they book that the Riotel is a chain that builds new hotels that ressemble 1950s and 1960s MOTELS. You enter your room from a covered walkway that abuts the parking lot. Rooms have a single window that looks out into the covered walk way and the parking lot. No privacy unless you close the blinds. Rooms come with a coffee maker. Ours was broken. Bathroom was small shower was good. But only a trickle of hot water came out of sink faucet. Impossible to wash one’s face. Only way to charge a phone on the bedside bed table is to get down on the floor and unplug the lamp or clock to have a socket. On positive side, bed was very comfortable and restaurant was nice.

"Fanny" at the front desk was exceptional. Went out of her way to make things work well for us, detected my horrible accent and spoke to us in perfect English. She single handidly would be the reason i recommend this spot to anyone. The view is great and the rooms are clean. Friendly staff all around, and great food. With the exception of the server we had who was very cranky and clearly didnt want to be there. Heard her speaking fluent English to another customer prior to coming to us, told her in French if she would mind if we spoke English to her. Pretended not to speak English and made us point to the items on the menu. Kind of petty. Wish i got her name. However overall a great experience thanks to the other staff and to reiterate Fanny in particular at the front desk!

It was the first time in a 16 hr drive and 3 hotels that we felt truly welcome like family not by people pretending and we didn’t feel degraded because we were English. My granddaughter has so far received a very poor introduction to Quebec. This place may have changed her mind!

Riotel Perce is blessed to have a perfect view of the rock. Wonderful seating options on your balcony or on the shore. You can walk into town easily along the beach or sidewalks. Dining choices ranging from casual to fancy are within minutes, walking from the hotel. Or eat at the hotel! Sunrises and ealy morning coffee strolls are great, as are ice cream walks at night!
