Beach Getaway with Deck, Steps from the Beach

This was a nice stay, the rooms were clean, the bathrooms could use a little more attention as far as the hard water stains in the toliet. I would have the cleaning crew put clorox toliet bowl cleaner in EVERY TIME they clean. The kitchen was stocked with all of the necessary utensils plenty of plates glasses and utensils. The ocean was a block away. Overall this is an 8 out of 10. The wifi kept going out thru out the day on Saturday. I would stay her again and I would recommend this stay. Very nice and peaceful lovely view. The host was very quick with any questions, and VERY friendly.

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of cookware available in the house. No TV in one of the bedrooms. Overall the home was comfortable and convenient with an easy walk to the beach.we would stay again.

We were really disappointed by this home. The sinks didn’t drain properly and the home was humid and warm despite AC temperature.

Property was very clean and beautiful. Very spacious and had everything we need to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as ever. The kitchen is equipped with dishes for you to use. They provide towels. And there is a shower outside that made it easy for the whole family to rinse off before going into the house! The owner was very communicative and responsive to all of our needs and loved that they checked up on us every once in a while thru Vrbo messages. Thank you!! Would def recommend this property!

Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review due to lack of cleaning and communication with property management. Upon arriving approximately 8pm we had to use flashlights to climb the stairs due to a light being out on the staircase to the home. Inside the home we noticed our socks turned black from walking on the floors in the first 15min. No phone # is provided with the management company, after requesting, they ended up calling me and it seems like a company located outside the country. Asked them to send housekeepers the following day. They did come while we were out for the day, but same crumbs and hair were still on the floors. The lightbulb did get replaced. Washing machine was unusable due to being rusted and chucks of debris found in the bottom of the tub. I wasn’t able to send pictures to Managment or text because VRBO doesn’t accept heic pictures from cell phones. I gave up at that point. Never got to do laundry. House overall is in rough condition, lots of dings in the walls, damaged furniture and fixtures. As an owner of several STR’s, I was surprised as this is being professionally managed.

The location and the size of the house was great but it needs a really good deep clean. The post said games which we could never find and the tv in the living room never worked. My kids were excited about the hammock that was in the pictures but that was not there. Also if you’re not gonna have closets then there needs to be dressers in the bedrooms.

At 3:49 pm we received an email telling us that the property needed repair and we would not be able to use the tub/shower. We were supposed ot check in at 4pm. We specifically booked this property because it said it had a tub. We immediately emailed back...but NO RESPONSE. In fact we NEVER heard from this property manager...EVER! They were happy to take our money, but rented us a broken property with no apology, no notice, and no refund for what we lost in the deal. We ended up soaking an ankle in a cooler because the tub/shower was unusable.

Everything was amazing. We had trouble getting the dryer to dry towels, but overall we had an amazing stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Cons: This is advertised as everything in the listing being brand new. I would say the structure of the house is fine but the interior is really gross, especially for the cost of the rental. The carpet in the living room is covered in stains. I understand bugs get inside of homes but there were quite a few cockroaches running around on the counter in daylight before we even prepared any food. The bathrooms were not clean either. I mentioned the cockroaches to the contact for the listing but he never responded. Pros: It's maybe a 5 minute walk down to some steps to the beach which is convenient.

This home accommodated our family very well. The host was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. I was a bit was the cleanliness. The general surfaces were fine, but it. It could use a deep clean. The cabinets, baseboards, blinds, etc were dusty and splattered with food, etc. I’m a little picky about cleanliness, so this may not bother everyone. Most of the neighborhood is just fine, but the house next door is very run-down, just to be aware.

This was a wonderful property for our family of 5. We came in town for a wedding in Angleton. Everything was wonderful! The only thing I wish I had know was that there aren’t any closets. We had lots of suits and dresses that needed to be hung up. We managed with the hooks in the bathroom, but I should have requested a rack. Beautiful house and great location!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach house. Check in was a breeze and Russell is a very attentive host. The house was clean and spacious enough for our large group. Our trip was scheduled only a week after hurricane Beryl, so it was a bit sad to see some of the damage to the area firsthand. The internet didn’t seem to work during our stay but it’s understandable considering the circumstances, as many in the area were still without power. The mosquitos were definitely a nuisance, limiting our outdoor activities but that was also out of our host’s hands since it’s what commonly happens after getting lots of rain. Nonetheless, my family had a great time and we made the best of the trip.

We had a great time and enjoy the comfort of this home. This is the second time we have stayed at this house and both times have been great.

We stayed here a few times while settling a family estate in Lake Jackson. It was perfect for our group of 5 adults with only 1 couple. We had enough room both to socialize and for each of us to have privacy. It was clean and quiet each time. Very close to the Gulf for quick morning walks along the coast.

We had a delightful stay! With 5 adults - 1 couple and 3 singles - there was an ideal amount of space. So close to the ocean we could hear the waves crashing and smell the salt air. Being off the main road it was quiet and restful at night. Everything was clean and comfortable. We hope to be back some time.

When I checked in, the front door knob completely fell out. I asked someone to come and fix it or for some compensation for the safety issue, but it was never addressed. Other than the water coming out of the faucet being brown (I don't blame them since its a beach house, just generally kind of gross), the house was good.

Extenuating circumstances due to hurricane Beryl water boil mandate and no power an only residents allowed in Surfside and Beach box would absolutely not refund my money. Do not book with them!

Had such a wonderful time at this property. Russel was a great host. Super accommodating ad even let us check in a bit earlier than the check in time of 4pm so we could put our youngest down for a nap. We really appreciated that. The home was spotless when we got there and we were able to quickly get settled and spend some family time together. We had such a blast and hope to be back in the future!

The house is beautiful, nice and clean and just a very short walk to the beach! 1 block from a surf shop also! Had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back! Host was very nice and kept in touch as needed.

The house was the perfect size for us. Loved the decor! It was close enough to walk to the beach and Sharkies (bar and grill) as well as a convenience store. Beach towels and trash bags were not provided but we had brought our own. Other than those two things everything we needed was there. Check in/out was easy.

Really enjoyed staying here, great location to the beach, gas station and the surf shops a black away! Clean and nice with everything you need for a comfortable stay! This is our second stay at this property.
