Rodeway Inn Wine Country

The room smelled bad (too much cleaner). They’re trying to cover up the dog smell. The parking was terrible. They allowed this bus to take up all the parking especially since we got back late from the casino. Their TV remote didn’t work. The bathroom had some residue; not too clean. I had to go out in the cold & walk to their office for a replacement. This place needs a major overhaul. We wasted over $100. We deserve a refund!

At night outside my room (239) there was a dog barking, people shouting, and kids making noise. No breakfast. My coffee maker was unusable because it leaked. Ice maker was nice. Proximity to Highway 101was good.

Okay if you need a place to sleep, and it's among the least expensive in the area. The towel bar and toilet paper bar were broken and missing. The TV is OK but there is no way to see the guide, so you have to scroll through every channel. The heater is right below the curtains and blows them up like a parachute. The room had a microwave, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Pets are allowed for $15 extra. Food places require driving.

This place was cheaper than other places, but I expected better. There was only lukewarm water Sunday morning, while I was getting ready, the pool was freezing, the room was clean and bed OK. There was limited parking, and two semi "permanent" cars right in front my room (they were covered with car covers and they didn't move the entire three days).

This property is consolidating with the Budget Inn next door. Both hotels had check-in in the Rodeway lobby. Staff (owners?) seemed confused and new, but were SUPER nice and apologetic about the situation. The grounds were a disgrace, but the room was very clean. The pool looked lovely and there were kids having a ball in it. I would absolutely stay here again. Great deal for the price.

Nice and clean but hotel has been in location over ten years and furniture is worn out but still functional. The refrigerator and microwave all a convenient way to save money. Target ad Dollar Tree across the street, so can buy food and eat in the room.

Check in was at 3. We arrived early then left and returned at 5:15. They gave us our room and beds were not made, bathroom had dark mold in the corners. There was no toilet paper. The room smelled extremely strong of some type of heavy duty cleaner. It was extremely hard on the nose and throat and didn’t dissipate throughout the whole night and even after being in the room all night, we could still smell it the next morning. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and we won’t return. On a good note, the pool was nice

The room was not clean, AC barely worked and was loud, too noisy, and found something under the bed which I can't describe.

The place is pretty run down, roaches in the bathroom, furniture was miss matched, linen were clean but had stains on them, but it was a place to sleep

Our room was on the bottom floor in a highly trafficked area and the sliding glass window did not lock, thus giving me a sense of lack of safety, especially since there were some very shady looking people hanging around in the parking area, which was also filthy. My guess is that there is definitely some illegal business going on at this motel. The room was old, smelled very bad, and the bathroom was filthy, rendering it unusable. The bathroom sink handle was broken as well. We did not even bring anything into the room and decided to go to the casino and hang out until the early hours of the next morning. Upon returning, we just opted to check out and leave for home without even sleeping there. I would very much like a refund for our (non)stay and would highly suggest that Hotels.com eliminate this property from its inventory. It is that bad! I use Hotels.com often and have never written such a poor review nor stayed in such a horrible establishment. Unbelievable!

Dog poop on BR door. Smelled like urine, thin sheet straight on the mattress. It was the dirtiest hotel I have ever been in my life.

The property was a mess. The room was dingy and smelled like rubbing alcohol. The office was a disheveled disaster. The pictures online and no way reflected the property or the rooms.

Horrible staff, all the rooms have been smoked in and very dirty with blood on the doors and shower curtain. Also the bathroom had moldy and rotten baseboards. Never again!!!!!

The pictures online are totally misleading. The rooms are terrible bathrooms filthy, beds uncomfortable and raggedy.

Limited staff did what they could however this motel badly needs to be cleaned up. Our nightstands had fresh spit/green expectorant which is a biohazard and we had to put our nightstands outside. Has the potential to be a good facility but it is just too dirty to recommend.

This property lists amenities online that it does NOT actually offer or have available. Our bedding had cigarette burn holes in it, furniture was torn up, and cockroaches on the walls

This place was so grimy and dirty. You can tell its an active area for crime as they have police cars propped towards the back of the property. There were tweakers walking around making sounds. The room when you walked in smelled strongly of bleach. The bed had been broken off the wall. The only thing that appeared to be clean was the shower. It was crystal white and clean. The toilet wasn't even cleaned completely as there was grime on the bottom of the bowel. There were scuff marks and stains on the bathroom wall. The front desk seemed unprofessional when checking in. There was a numerous amount of things wrong with this property. The photos they have posted is very misleading as thats not what you get at all. I messed up and didn't get insurance for my booking and will do so moving forward just because of this experience. I needed something last minute as an emergency and this place was all i could afford. Never again will i be staying at this hotel ever again.

Stopped here just for a quick overnight before heading off to the coast. Passable just barely. Rat traps all around the property. Sidewalks, stairs external walkways looked they hadn’t been cleaned since the Reagan administration. Front desk check in, we checked in late, was disinterested and barely awake. Room was smaller than some European hotels I’ve stayed at, bed was small. Room seemed clean but was very bare bones.

The bed was clean and comfortable. The condition of the room itself not very good. Curtains extremely old, falling apart almost. Furniture very old. The bathroom sink old and unsanitary looking.

It was not cheap but Everything was so old. The bed is so noisy and not comfortable. It was not a good experience. Poor quality of everything. Not recommended.

The property was in poor condition. The chair in the room was in very bad condition. Food was left in refrigerator from a prior guest.

The mattress was terrible, the shower stall had a broken and missing assist bar, the charging outlet didn't work, the floor did not have carpeting or rugs, nor restaurants within walking distance.

My last stay was better. This room has a bed with a big dip in it. The drawers don’t open and I have no remote for the tv. No hot water either

This old motel 6 was built during the "build cheap hotels boom". Might as well not have doors or windows, you can hear EVERYTHING outside, from ALL the traffic on the offramp of the freeway right outside your room, to the guy who leaves his dog outside to bark on and off all night long. This hotel is only here for the normal people who can't afford all of the overpriced hotel in the area these days. This chain can do better.

Rooms were clean and hot water was readily available. Also comfortable bed and quiet. Basic requirements for a place to stay.

I’d like to start if by saying that the rooms don’t have a do not disturb placard you can put outside your room. Last Saturday I was in my room and housekeeping came. She opens the door and saw me and I told her I don’t need service. 2 hours later, someone else comes, opens the door, sees me and says “oh sorry”. A few more hours go by and two guys from management come knocking at my door and say that I need to pay $20 because I was in my room from 11-3. They said that’s not our rule, thats the rule from the website you used to book your room. I’ve never heard of that before. They also said if I book through a third party I need to check in with the front desk everyday or else they won’t know that someone is in that room. I had booked a week and checkout was Monday at 11. Sunday my card stopped working and I went in to the front desk and they said that they could see my itinerary number, but their system said that my checkout was Saturday even though I had a receipt saying I paid for Sunday and my app says checkout Monday. They insisted that I need to book through them and pay again to continue staying there. Last night, some guy was knocking at my door at 7PM. I ignored it, because it was dark outside… He uses a key card to open my door. I ask, can I help you? He said yeah, you need to go to the front desk and pay. I go up there, the guy at the front desk asks what room I’m in, I tell him, and he says I’m good. Rodeway Inn/Budget Inn has caused me a lot of stress.

On June 4, 2024, I used Expedia to book a hotel reservation at the Rodeway Inn at Rohnert Park, California for my travel dates of June 7, 2024 through June 9, 2024. I was charged $257.03. On June 7, 2024 at around 2 p.m., I checked in at the Rodeway Inn under my prepaid reservation with Expedia. The clerk at the front desk identified my prepaid reservation in the hotel’s computer system. Before Expedia sends a prepaid reservation to a hotel, it must first obtain the customer’s credit card approval. All hotels know or should know that if they have a traveler’s reservation from Expedia in their computer system, Expedia had already obtained credit card approval. About 15 minutes after I had checked in at Rodeway Inn, the front desk called me on their motel-room telephone and said something that I was not able to understand. I thought it might have been a mistaken telephone call so I hung up. About 15 minutes later, I got a second call on the motel-room telephone from the front desk and was told my credit card was declined. I told the front desk that my reservation was prepaid and that Expedia had obtained credit card approval. After this second call, I went down to the front desk to discuss this unusual problem and was told again that my credit card was declined. The staff at the front desk made this false and embarrassing statement in public in front of other people. I vehemently disputed that false allegation with the staff at the front desk and told them that I would provid

It’s was a good stay, only complains are that we were asking for more towels and a new cover and sheet for the bed 3 days in a row and we never got them. Asked the front desk probably 4-5 times and it never happens. But it’s very quiet. Would stay there again.

Was told I would get my 100$ room deposit back in 3-5 days when checked out - never received it. Manager Chris did nothing and had pretentious and dismissive attitude. Who owns these little motels??? Little value

I love this property, because it was so close to my doctors office. and even closer to the Graton Casino! The staff was amazing! The check in was so eazy, and the front desk let me check in early! I love how the agents listen to your concerns.

The property is centrally located with plenty of restaurants and shopping. The casino is only 5 minutes away.

I didn't realize what a sketchy area it was until after I checked in. There were people around there that looked homeless and some guys across the parking lot that looked like they were scoping things out. I didn't feel safe as a single female. The girl at the counter was amazing, however!

It was nice right next to the graton casino, and a half hour away from the ocean. Scrolls the street from an olive garden and hooters. Walmart is down the road. Next to budget in could probably use a little TLC other than that I was comfortable and enjoyed my vacation.

Its a older motel,located right off of hwy 101.Easy to find,Room was ok,rate was ok.

I like the price that was good didn't like the no breakfast & didn't like how many police officers were in the parking lot all night didn't like the noise and then it was very dirty the staff was very nice to work with had a microwave and a refrigerator that was nice

One staff person is rude and seemingly unhappy. The other staff a couple were wonderful. The tv, phone, coffee pot and blow dryer were not working. Maintenance staff came and gave me a new coffee pot as soon as I mentioned it.

"Average" is just that -- not bad, but nothing that goes above and beyond good. For example, the TV remote has a Sleep button, which would have gotten more stars, but they also have the WORST cable possible, and no channel guide. They had a sign for a "Breakfast Room," indicating a standard continental breakfast that was fairly common before COVID, but is no longer available. It's been a while -- that needs to be reopened. Also, you need to go back to housekeeping EVERY DAY, I'll let you know if I don't need it every day. They did leave enough toiletries for one person for three days, but if you don't have breakfast OR housekeeping, you have to put enough coffee in the rooms or else it's not a full feature.

Arrived early and was allowed to check in b4 3pm. The no frills room was clean with coffee maker, microwave, fridge and tv. Plenty of electric outlets for devices including USB ports. Bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was also clean. Only complaint - Coffee was pretty bad and Starbucks was 10 mins away. Bring your own coffee!
