Lo mejor: el personal muy amable y atento, generosos con el desayuno. Puedes llevar tu propia comida para cenar en la terraza del hotel. Silves, el pueble de al lado tiene de todo y es tranquilo. Lo peor: teníamos plaga de hormigas en la habitación. Nos realojaron en una nueva y en esta todo fue bien. Las habitaciones necesitan una renovación. Los muebles estan viejos y comidos de la carcoma. No hay opción de cenar en el hotel.

Its very easy to arrive by car and also park there. The swimming pool was excellent and there was also A/C which is to thank on summer. In general terms I would recommend but also do think that for 80€ at night it was slightly overpriced.

We had a great welcome when we arrived. The view from our room of the castle was stunning both in the sunshine and when lit at night. Room comfortable, enjoyable swim in the pool and great breakfast. Nothing to fault.

Hôtel en bon état avec une belle piscine. Très bon rapport qualité prix et grandes chambres. Seul petit bémol la lumière du parking pour les chambres donnant dessus. Elles restent allumées toute la nuit et les rideaux n'occultent pas tout entièrement. Après il semble que ce soit récurent au Portugal, nous avons eu les mêmes petits désagréments ailleurs.

The view is beautiful, and the location is excellent, and there are not a lot of options in Silves. But it felt a little grimy and if you suffer from allergies I wouldn't stay here beyond a night. The place needs a deep clean, and it would make one feel more welcome to have access to tea and coffee, if not in the rooms, at least in the lobby.

We had mixed feelings about our stay at this hotel. On one hand it has a beautiful exterior with great views of the town and the castle, the pool area is well maintained, parking is easy to find, AC in the rooms were functioning well, and the staff were responsive to our needs. On the other hand the rooms were outdated and generally look old, I know it's part of the general look of the hotel but small touches here and there would do wonders, also basic things like a mini fridge or an electric kettle were absent. Breakfast was ok, it had all the basics you can expect but definitely nothing to brag about. They were also doing some renovations in the kitchen area so some noises throughout the day are to be expected. Overall I'd recommend this hotel but mainly for where it is, the town is beautiful and quaint and very walkable. The hotel is ok and convenient but having been to many hotels, I'd hesitate to list it as a 3 star hotel.

I stayed in the single room 411, 1st floor in front of the elevedor and stairway: I heard everything going on in the lobby (checks in/out, bagages' noice, people back from restaurants, etc.); the room has a thin window so I enjoyed the traffic except from 1 to 4am. Though the place is nice, it's noisy. Plus: on the terrace the ash trays are nevers cleaned, the tables are coffee printed and their is no video surveillance (all perimetrical doors open 24/7) and not always someone at the desk around 4 to 6am (when I got out for a smoke), except the white and brown cat. The only good points the hotel: quite charming and a good base for visiting Algarve, choosing going East or Ouest depending on the mood.

Majority of staff were amazingly helpful and went over board to assist. Only 1 man on reception when i advised my access to my room wasnt working was some what dismisdive advising me it was my user error and did not come to assist until i visited him 2nd time and advised it still was not working ...Other reception and security were incredibly polite and assisting

Loved this hotel it was situated in a perfect location overlooking the castle. Fantastic choice of breakfast on the terrace or inside. Room was great, lots of hot water and storage. The swimming pool area was spotless and pool cleaned every morning, lots of sun beds and areas to sit. Small bar with nice staff. Silves is a small beautiful village and this hotel is perfect choice for a 2-3 days. Thoroughly recommended.

Having stayed at this hotel many times, we know exactly what to exoect. This time we had a room with a view overlooking the pool and across to the town. It may not be the the top end of hotels, but we love it. Pleasant breakfast, which if you so wished you could wat outside on the terrace. Just a short walk into Silves, with its many excellent restaurants. The grounds are beautifully kept.
