It was under renovations and pools were closed, charge for breakfast was too expensive. They didn’t clean or bring towels 2nd day. No instructions on how to get into the hotel or where parking was, when we called the lady that answered was short and rude about where to come to. Had to pay 41 per day to park but they offered Public parking in the same building for $20. Also when they did come to clean on the 3 rd day my pjs went missing and they left wash clothes in the tub.

The Hilton Garden is conveniently located across the street from the Georgia Aquarium, Coca-Cola Factory and the park. Hotel has a parking garage attached for easy parking. The room itself was clean and the majority of rooms face part of the skyline of ATL. We were on the 7th floor that also held the indoor pool, outside pool, gameroom and fitness center. The fitness center was ideal with dumbbells/kettlebells, cable machine, bench and cardio machines and overall clean. We needed a place to stay near the State Farm Arena and it did not disappoint as all we had to do was walk through the Olympic park.

2 out of three elevator were completely broken l. 3rd one was barely working and making a terrible sound. We did not feel safe on it and it was defiantly being overpacked and over worked. Staff had to take people up and down using the freight elevator(if you could find someone). Stairs only go down so far and the you have to cross across a floor to get to the next set of steps. Extremely unsafe, frustrating and fire hazard. We had three young kids and strollers and had to go up and down the stairs many time from the 10th floor . We're were only there one day. THANK GOD! Many other people extremely upset. Elderly, young kids, people with injurys.... list go on and on. Also hottub was broken and had caution tape everyone. Looked like a crime scene. It was never stocked with towels but they yell at you if you bring your room towels. Parking garage is confusing to navigate and expensive. Overall it was a terrible experience On the positive note, The rooms were clean and beds were comfy enough and they did bring us a crib right away. Locations is good for aquarium, Coca-Cola experence, olymplic park ect.

The front desk staff was polite and thorough with checkin. The room, however, was dank and dirty. Carpet and bathrooms both felt sticky. The tub was visibly dirty as was the underneath of the vanity. It feels partially like the property could use some attention (carpets and smell/feel of the room) and partially like the cleaning at turnover could be better. I wouldn’t stay here again

We got in later in the evening and headed straight to our room for a shower and bed. The room wasn't very clean, with obvious crumbs on the floor, no shower curtain, empty shampoo/conditioner bottles and weird grease spots on the doors. We were too tired to care and went to bed. The next morning, we got a few grocery items for the room and put them in the fridge- turns out that was broken as well, and our food spoiled. Housekeeping only comes every few days, so we didn't get a shower curtain until day three of our stay. We were charged for the "free breakfast," which was advertised all over the hotel in poster boards. They were kind enough to hold our bags at the front desk the day we checked out, so we could enjoy a nearby park while killing time before going to the airport. The room and hallways were quiet, which was nice. I wouldn't stay here again.

Pro: close to aquarium and Coca-Cola Con: Mattress sheet was torn Bed sheet was too small for the mattress we had to adjust many times for it to fit. There was a clear body fluid stain on the bedsheet. Shower curtain smelled so bad we couldn’t go into the bathroom. Room was not cleaned on the last day. We had to call the front desk to request towels and we did not receive any apology.

Room smelled like urine and everything was booked so had to stay in it, bathroom sink was clogged, room was overall dirty with a lot of dust and areas you rather not even touch the the smell of urine was definitely the worse. Wasted a bottle of perfume through the night. Staff wasn’t very friendly

The property was nice and the room was clean. We had a great view of downtown. The staff was super friendly and cheerful. The building was undergoing renovations and it was a bit cluttered and only one elevator seemed to be working. I don’t recall seeing anything on Expedia saying the property was under construction and that would have been helpful to know but I would definitely stay here again. Great restaurants and coffee close by and the aquarium was as well.

Stayed here for a visit to the aquarium in the morning after. Was perfect for this purpose as it was just a 3 minute walk to the entrance. Atlanta is huge, but we manage to get to the parking and leaving Atlanta without too much hassle. Got a view with amazing view on the top floor. Was great!

The rooms were large with two king beds in and looked much better in the photos than in real like. They are old and dingy and do not feel clean. We arrived quite late in the evening and to be honest felt quite shocked and depressed when we opened the doors to our rooms. I was surprised that the Hilton brand are running hotels of this calibre. The rest of the hotel looks better and more modern. Breakfast was extra but was excellent and the dining room staff were really helpful and friendly. The position of the hotel was good as it is next to the Georgia Aquarium and world of Coca-cola, and parking was easy in a multi-story carpark next to the hotel, however we walked into the main town for dinner but felt unsafe when attempted to walk back so returned to the restaurant and asked them to call us a cab. The area seems devoid of tourists and family's at night and there is clearly a problem with drugs/homelessness and gangs.

My room faced a LED light marquis right outside the window. There were no blackout curtains in this room. I notified the hotel after my stay. I didn’t receive a response so I’m not sure if that was remediated. Otherwise the room was great and in a great location.

No room darkening curtains-flashing bright lights lit up our room all night. Also, when we tried to exit the parking deck, we were told to use our room key to get out. We had already paid for parking when we checked in($41). The arm wouldn’t raise to let us go. We had to pay ANOTHER $41 to get out. I wonder how often this happens?! We told the front desk manager and she asked if I had proof that I paid(the machine did not give me a receipt)!! So—I paid $82 for parking!! Not cool!

Terrible experience! I never received a call for check out time, when I went to check out, I was assessed $100 per room penalty. Absolutely no courtesy or professionalism or understanding given. The assistance manager was very rude, confrontational, and unprofessional. Horrible customer service.

The staff here at Hilton Garden Inn were amazing! The location of this hotel is perfect. You are literally in walking distance to a lot of attractions and restaurants. I would definitely rate this hotel a 10/10!!! We will be back!!!

There is surely a homeless problem in this area. Urin, Feces and food containers are all around this property. I was located on the 2nd Floor and its not high enough to escape the traffic noise from the road. The Room itself was clean and the staff was very friendly.

I stay with my family for one night, and we had a great time. The staff is friendly, Dennisse was courteous and helpful with the questions asked. The hotel is located close to all tourist attractions in downtown Atlanta. We went to a soccer game at the Mercedes Benz Stadium and it was 9 minutes walk. You can see the stadium from our room. The breakfast was delicious. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone interested in visiting downtown Atlanta.

It was a great hotel but there is no room service only daily cleaning. And the dinning is very limited unless you walking to a restaurant and all the dining all closed very early. But everyone was very friendly and the room smelled amazing.

Hilton is a top hotel contender. That is why I stay there and take my wife. Went for breakfast at the second floor restaurant of Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown, and it was good. But was surprised that you only use Ms Butterworth syrup. Now bear with me. What is the best topping for pancakes and waffles??? Maple Syrup. Vermont, or Ohio, or Canadian matters not. But real maple syrup is a defining breaker for top quality. Marriot serves fake syrup. All other hotels cheap out and use corn syrup based toppings like Butterworth's as well. Why cannot Hilton, an international behemoth, have its own contract with a maple producer somewhere to supply its hotels with superb quality toppings. As health becomes more important these days, corn syrup is seen as a terribly unhealthy sweetener. Why cheapen Hilton breakfasts with that. A small attention to detail might very well benefit the bottom line, and impress Hilton guests that you serve the best. Can't be that much more expensive than Butterworths. I've stayed at this location several times and it has always been a great stay. Atlanta has a plethora of hotels to choose from and the reason my family and I always choose this one is due to the location (literally right beside the aquarium) and the breakfast French toast. I was quite sad when I was informed that the menu changed and French toast was no longer made to order. I was informed by one of the restaurant employees that post-covid, changes were made to the breakfast menu. This hotel had the best French toast my family ever had (compliments to the chef!)! They did have French toast as an option but it was nothing like it was before. Now it's just toast put on a platter. Previously it was made to order with powdered sugar, whip cream, and strawberries and it was so good! We'll miss it but unfortunately being close to the aquarium isn't enough to continue staying at this location. It was amazing while it lasted. The employees are all amazing.

We were not thrilled with this hotel although it is located in a very convenient area. Room service was advertised but is not available and the on-site restaurant is Tex-Mex which did not have a kid friendly menu. Additionally, parking was very expensive and it’s not clear when you arrive that valet is not the only option (which is v more expensive). There was no coffee available in the lobby (all 3 machines were empty). Lastly while they do have an indoor and outdoor pool they were both freezing cold at the end of May. We plan to be back in Atlanta soon but will choose a different hotel.
