We loved the apartment at Sweeney Two - it has a real WOW factor with its industrial style, which was unexpected in the middle of Aviemore! It had everything we needed and the garden area is a real bonus. It’s in a great location for exploring the Cairngorm area, we went to the mountain resort to do the tubing slides and funicular and then on to the reindeer walk, all of which we can recommend. Thanks for a great stay!

Had a lovely 2 night stay in the Cairngorm Suite with my husband and 2 kids (5years & 4 months old). Firstly the location was perfect and in walking distance to countless pubs, restaurants, shops etc. The room itself was beautiful and the bedroom especially was incredibly spacious. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding/duvets etc all felt really good quality. Bathroom was spotless, the shower wasnt very powerful but thats being pernickety. Plenty of storage space throughout the suite and plenty of glasses/plates etc. We had a really lovely stay and the only small suggestions I would leave would be the low shower pressure, the inability to control the heating of the suite (apologies if i just didnt come across the controls) and the sofa bed wasnt overly comfortable. Everything else was brilliant and made for a great getaway in Aviemore. Would recommend and would return.

Nice, clean guest house. Modern room. Tea and coffee facilities and a useful fridge. Down side is that there are no staff to talk to and not much room for hanging clothing etc. We stayed 3 nights and had to keep our suit case in the bathroom. There is a restaurant down stairs that we didn't use as preferred to opt for more reasonably priced breakfasts.

We were in room 9. It was billed, in more way than one, as a premium double room, which we asked to be configured as a twin. The hotel is decorated in dark mink/brown. This is fine but in a small room with a very small window, about two feet across, the room felt dingy and dark. If this is a premier room I wonder what a standard room is like. There is really minimal hanging space. We have managed to hang up four shirts. Our wash basin had a hard substance stuck in one corner, which we could not remove or identify. There were minimal useful amenities in the room such as glasses and tissues. There is a small public space at the bottom of the stairs with three chairs about three metres apart and no daylight. It is hardly welcoming. Electronically the hotel recommended three places to eat. One of these had stopped serving food a couple of weeks previously. We felt that the illustrations on a hotel booking website did not truly represent the reality of our room. We are at the end of a road trip staying in five different hotels. This hotel was the most expensive yet had the worst room. My wife was in tears. This is not a frequent occurrence. We raised our issues with the manager. I understood that the hotel was fully booked. Nevertheless her response did not feel very empathetic. We did not unpack. The drawer space was so limited. The shower was pathetic and tepid at eight o'clock in the morning. Also the mount for the shower head was broken and couldn't be kept at a proper height. Luckily I managed to jerry rig something so I didn't have to do the one-handed wonder shower. Breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was excellent.

staff were amazing as had to call the helpline for code. This was only because I booked last minute. Room was perfect. Comfy bed & clean. Bit noisy from the apartment at the back having a karaoke but didn’t keep me awake. Definitely would book again

Everything was great. Room was big and comfortable overall a great experience. It was self-service so there wasn’t much in term of service from the hotel but everything was there so really great. I put 4 for service but for a self-service it was great.

Don’t stay in Room 9. Room is very dark and dingy. Very small room, looks completely different than online pictures. Shower was very unpleasant, Didn’t have any hot water! Would avoid staying here, very expensive for what it is.

We enjoyed our stay at The Park. The only downside is the walls between the rooms are paper thin and we didn't sleep for two nights due to the adjoining room talking and having the TV on til late. We enjoyed the stay otherwise and the location is great.

Hotel is ok for the money paid, check-in is seamless and staff we saw were very polite. Comfort-wise the bed was great but the floor in the room (Room 7) needs some serious repair work, it has an insane amount of squeaky floorboards throughout which is honestly infuriating when moving around. On the second night there was a strange loud noise that droned on all through the night and i barely slept, we nearly left the hotel because of it to be honest. Hotel is ok for the money paid, check-in is seamless and staff we saw were very polite. Comfort-wise the bed was great but the floor in the room (Room 7) needs some serious repair work, it has an insane amount of squeaky floorboards throughout which is honestly infuriating when moving around. On the second night there was a strange loud noise that droned on all through the night and i barely slept, we nearly left the hotel because of it to be honest. We were in room 9. It was billed, in more way than one, as a premium double room, which we asked to be configured as a twin. The hotel is decorated in dark mink/brown. This is fine but in a small room with a very small window, about two feet across, the room felt dingy and dark. If this is a premier room I wonder what a standard room is like. There is really minimal hanging space. We have managed to hang up four shirts. Our wash basin had a hard substance stuck in one corner, which we could not remove or identify. There were minimal useful amenities in the room such as glasses and tissues. There is a small public space at the bottom of the stairs with three chairs about three metres apart and no daylight. It is hardly welcoming. Electronically the hotel recommended three places to eat. One of these had stopped serving food a couple of weeks previously. We felt that the illustrations on a hotel booking website did not truly represent the reality of our room. We are at the end of a road trip staying in five different hotels. This hotel was the most expensive yet had the worst room. My wife was in tears. This is not a frequent occurrence. We raised our issues with the manager. I understood that the hotel was fully booked. Nevertheless her response did not feel very empathetic. We did not unpack. The drawer space was so limited. The shower was pathetic and tepid at eight o'clock in the morning. The bathroom door did not shut.

Everything was great. Room was big and comfortable overall a great experience. It was self-service so there wasn’t much in term of service from the hotel but everything was there so really great. I put 4 for service but for a self-service it was great.

We loved the apartment at Sweeney Two - it has a real WOW factor with its industrial style, which was unexpected in the middle of Aviemore! It had everything we needed and the garden area is a real bonus. It’s in a great location for exploring the Cairngorm area, we went to the mountain resort to do the tubing slides and funicular and then on to the reindeer walk, all of which we can recommend. Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at The Park. The only downside is the walls between the rooms are paper thin and we didn't sleep for two nights due to the adjoining room talking and having the TV on til late. We enjoyed the stay otherwise and the location is great.

Had a lovely 2 night stay in the Cairngorm Suite with my husband and 2 kids (5years & 4 months old). Firstly the location was perfect and in walking distance to countless pubs, restaurants, shops etc. The room itself was beautiful and the bedroom especially was incredibly spacious. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding/duvets etc all felt really good quality. Bathroom was spotless, the shower wasnt very powerful but thats being pernickety. Plenty of storage space throughout the suite and plenty of glasses/plates etc. We had a really lovely stay and the only small suggestions I would leave would be the low shower pressure, the inability to control the heating of the suite (apologies if i just didnt come across the controls) and the sofa bed wasnt overly comfortable. Everything else was brilliant and made for a great getaway in Aviemore. Would recommend and would return.

My room was just fine. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, there appears to be absolutely no soundproofing between rooms. I could literally hear my neighbour snoring through the walls. Also the mount for the shower head was broken and couldn't be kept at a proper height. Luckily I managed to jerry rig something so I didn't have to do the one-handed wonder shower. Breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was excellent.

Nice, clean guest house. Modern room. Tea and coffee facilities and a useful fridge. Down side is that there are no staff to talk to and not much room for hanging clothing etc. We stayed 3 nights and had to keep our suit case in the bathroom. There is a restaurant down stairs that we didn't use as preferred to opt for more reasonably priced breakfasts.

Nous avons réservé une chambre pour 2 nuits au Sweeney Aviemore Two faute de disponibilité dans les autres établissements et nous regrettons amèrement notre séjour au vu de son prix (près de 200€ par nuit au mois de septembre). La chambre était minuscule mais nous en étions informés lors de la réservation, fort heureusement le lit était très confortable (seul point positif de notre séjour). L'étroite fenêtre de la chambre donnait sur le toit d'en face, à quelques centimètres de la vitre. Nous dirons que c'est toujours mieux qu'une vue sur le parking... La salle de bain est une véritable honte : elle est microscopique, froide, mal aérée et la douche est alimentée par un chauffe-eau instantané (mini-boiler) qu'on trouve habituellement dans les campings-car (ou anciennement dans les hôtels bas de gamme des années 70), délivrant un débit très faible et une eau froide ou brûlante. L'isolation phonique entre les chambres et le couloir est inexistante, fort heureusement les autres clients de notre étage ont fait preuve de discrétion pendant la nuit. Enfin, sans surprise vu que nous n'avons croisé aucun membre du personnel pendant notre séjour : notre chambre n'a pas été faite alors qu'il s'agissait bien d'une chambre d'hôtel et non d'une des chambres "appart-hôtel / self-catering". Si nous avions su cela avant de réserver, nous aurions opté pour un hôtel ou logement plus éloigné d'Aviemore afin de pouvoir réellement nous reposer après nos longues journées de randonnées.

Room was a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be, based on photos on booking site. It was very clean and the large double bed was super comfortable. I’m not a fan of a shower of a bath and was disappointed to have to step in and out of the bath to shower. Also the shower gel dispenser in the shower was broken. The restaurant was closed for us on a Thursday night, so can’t comment on the food. Overall I’d say this was a good clean place to stay but I’d have liked a bigger room for the money I paid.

The room was clean and pleasant. The o oh downfall for us was that we had booked for two adults and two children in a room with a king size bed and a double sofa bed. Except the double sofa bed wasn’t already made up and we had a struggle to do it. We would have expected the sofa bed to have already been made up. We messaged the hotel whilst we were still there (last Friday) but they have still yet to reply to us.
