IDEAL for family reunions and getaways. Think grandma and grandpa house meets family compound meets church camp. Photos do not do this property justice. Warm, nostalgic feel as soon as you walk in. Family photos on the walls and mantle reinforce the character of a place that’s been well loved and seen lots of life lived in it. We rented the house for a wedding weekend and the space was so accommodating to our multigenerational group. The grandchildren ran feral, exploring the barn and swimming in the pool along with aunts and uncles. Adults enjoyed morning coffee and conversation on the front porch watching deer, longhorns, horses and birds. Evenings saw the young adults playing games in the attached guest house and patio table outside. There was something for everyone. Communication with property manager was clear and helpful. House was well stocked with cooking supplies, dishes and towels. 4-5 cars fit comfortably inside fence. Others can be parked beside driveway. Property is convenient to Boerne right on Hwy 46 yet you feel transported back several generations once inside the gate. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The house itself is impeccably preserved, full of charm and character that made us feel like we had been transported to another era—yet with all the modern comforts we needed. Every detail was thoughtfully maintained, and the ambiance was both warm and welcoming.The property is absolutely stunning, with rolling acreage, a peaceful pond, and grazing cattle that added to the idyllic, pastoral setting.
