It was a bit odd the parking lot was full of shipping containers. Not sure if there is a remodel going on or what. The room didn’t look like the pictures were advertising. The room felt cramped because there was a mini fridge in the middle of the room just seemed like they were in the middle of a remodel or something but nothing was disclosed upfront. It was also a bit odd because the front desk had a child laying in the back

Check in was easy via link. Right now, apparently some repair going on, so there are large metal containers in the paring lot. Overall clean rooms and public areas Good free breakfast. Outdoor picnic area is being restored at present.

The hotel was nice and my room was clean and cozy. The staff who greeting me at my check in was very friendly. She recommended some local restaurants. Parking spaces are tight in some areas. Other than that I was very happy with my stay.

I had reservations for Saturday night and got there Saturday in a rush to get to a wedding to find out they screwed up my reservation and wouldn’t change it they still charged me for the night before when I wasn’t there. Had to pay for an extra night. The hotel has no amenities and the parking lot is terrible not worth staying there. I would highly recommend staying to a hotel that has management that is competent and cares about customers instead of scamming them. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and I travel a lot.

The property is situated near the ramp off Route 29 in the absolutely beautiful little town of Culpeper. The only downfall to our stay was the parking when returning later in the evening.

Room was very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Building seems like it is in good condition however they are in the middle of remodeling some of the building. Parking was my only complaint as the parking lot is fairly cramped and made getting into a spot a bit of a chore. Otherwise it was a good experience.

The space was overall pretty clean but the room smelled of smoke - very strong. We let them know the following morning (we arrived very late at night) and the employee at the desk moved to respond immediately. I have confidence that they would have switched rooms for us if we had asked, but we were too tired upon arrival.

Good value but our hallway smelled like weed when we arrived and our room smelled of smoke. The bathroom smoke smelled so bad we ran the fan for our entire stay. Staff was great and the place and room were clean otherwise.

Nasty crusty stain on sheets. They changed it when we pointed it out but still, how do you put a sheet like that on the bed and not notice, unless you just didn’t change the sheet. Eww.

Its....ok. If youre on a budget then sure. My main concerns were that as soon as i walked into the room i was hit with the smell of damp/wet. I didnt see any mold or mildew and it seemed turning off the ac helped but it made it hard to be at ease. i always check the beds anytime i go anywhere and there was some visible staining on at least one of the pillows. The staff was nice enough to change it out for me. Their mattress cover was not the type to lock the zipper so that was concerning alittle bit. I also saw a blood stain on the floor which was...a surprise. Someone carved GOAT into the elevator metal. They have a very nice refrigerator size though.

We stayed overnight due to a snowstorm. There was someone else’s hair in the bathroom and the walls looked a little iffy. The table wobbled and had sticky red spots on it. The desk chair was not stable. The toilet didn’t flush several times and maintenance had to come up twice and then just left us a plunger to do it ourselves (which had to be done a few more times). The beds were ok. Relieved we only had to stay overnight.

Arrived late as I was travelling and going backpacking the next morning. Bathroom sink was completely clogged. No way housekeeping should have missed this when cleaning the room from the previous guest. Room while clean, had an overwhelming smell of disinfectant. Staff was friendly. Will opt for a different hotel my next trip.

Acceptable hotel. Clean. The bathroom sink didn’t drain, the toilet was hard to flush and the tub stopper didn’t work. The biggest issue was that the walls were so thin Incould hear the next room talking at a normal level. I had to blast the TV just to drown them out.

We will never stay in a Microtel again. Old rooms. No carpet in our room. We were there for our daughter's wedding and we brought our Yellow Lab with us. Our dog only has one back leg and could not walk on the bare floors. She slipped constantly and we had to put towels on the floors for her to be able to get from one point to the other in the room. Wires hanging out of the ceiling in the hallway and someone's child was running up and down the hallway at all hours. We inquired about getting a room with carpet and were told we might be able to move to another room but it was "hit or miss" to get one with carpet. Not good enough! We paid to have an enjoyable stay to enjoy our daughters wedding but left early because we were worried about our dog hurting herself. Never again!

This place was pretty terrible. Basically a motel. Smallest room ever, “queen bed” was really a double, no water for guests unless you had cash, which… who really has cash these days. Iron didn’t work, no lamps, and the bizarre light above the bed had such a thick layer of dust that could easily fall down on guests while sleeping. Not to mention we spent 150 bucks. Never staying here AGAIN! Would’ve asked for my money back but booked through a Hotels.com instead of through them. You live and you learn!

Our experience at Microtel was top-notch! The staff are always friendly and helpful. Rachel was super busy this morning serving breakfast, but didn’t blink an eye when we asked her for something. And, the breakfast was delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Our family will continue to come back because guests here are treated with the best hospitality ever!

We were traveling to Remington to visit our Grandchildren from Texas & our Son mentioned your facility. We were VERY PLEASED with our week stay & loved your staff. Very kind & helpful. We definitely plan to stay at the Microtel Culpepper location each time we travel to Virginia in the future.

The room I was in had a strong smell of oil and there were no other rooms to move me to; the tub drained very slowly, there was no shower gel in the dispenser, staff was hard to find and not helpful when found, outside had trash and cigarettes butts all over the ground, overall condition of the hotel was dirty. Not worth the money that I spent

Great property for a few nights on business while working in the area. My room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly, efficient and helpful with restaurant suggestions. I'm staying there again this week for business.

For a Wyndom property I was surprised at how unkept the place was even tho in 2018 it was voted most outstanding Microtel. Staff were not professionally dressed, one actually was wearing a construction company Tshirt. Place to buy food in lobby was cash only. Blue pillow in room had what appeared like dried on runny nose stuff. Breakfast, hash browns cold every day, gravy on Sunday cold, coffee was good. Was so so place to stay

We had an excellent stay. Clean, quiet, and spacious room. The hotel breakfast was wonderful! Easy to drive to Old Rag for a morning hike. Great value for the price. Would definitely stay again.

The room was small and the bathroom was older. Cozy, with easy access off of the highway. No staff showed up for approximately 5 minutes, then housekeeping/laundry staff was leaving, and they got the front desk woman for me. That was a bit disconcerting.

The property is situated near the ramp off Route 29 in the absolutely beautiful little town of Culpeper. The only downfall to our stay was the parking when returning later in the evening.

Our experience at Microtel was top-notch! The staff are always friendly and helpful. Rachel was super busy this morning serving breakfast, but didn’t blink an eye when we asked her for something. And, the breakfast was delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Our family will continue to come back because guests here are treated with the best hospitality ever!

Our stay was nice, stayed in a suite and was remodeled and i must say i was beyond impressed with the Breakfast area. WoW is all i can say and it was all good. There was something for everyone! Was worth the money and i will be staying again in the future

For a Wyndom property I was surprised at how unkept the place was even tho in 2018 it was voted most outstanding Microtel. Staff were not professionally dressed, one actually was wearing a construction company Tshirt. Place to buy food in lobby was cash only. Blue pillow in room had what appeared like dried on runny nose stuff. Breakfast, hash browns cold every day, gravy on Sunday cold, coffee was good. Was so so place to stay

The Staff were very friendly and our room was upgraded to a suite. The breakfast empanadas were also awesome. Definitely a good place when you needed something quickly and without having any worries.

Everything was perfect. I was happy to have a good sized fridge with freezer cubby. There’s also a water fill station on the third floor next to an ice machine. Breakfast did the trick with lots of fresh yummy fruit (bananas, apples, clementines). The bed was very comfortable, too.

We had a pleasant stay. The facilities were simple but modern and spotless, the breakfast offerings were varied, with both hot and cold dishes and a waffle station. Be advised there is no closet or drawers, only pegs with hangers and some cubbies. And our faucet was a little bit wonky, but otherwise everything was very satisfactory.
