Jackson Lake Lodge Pioneer Grill

Main lodge has a beautiful view and several dining options. We stayed at one of the "cabins" and found it roomy, clean and very convenient for coming and going with parking right out front. Used the heated outdoor pool one day and had a great time.

Great facility in Teton Park. Very nice view out of the large windows looking over a meadow to the Teton Mountains. Plenty of activities, restaurants and consessions stores on site.

Wonderful resort lodge property with varied dining and amenity options. I’m already planning a return visit! Cottage with 2 queen beds comfortable, no air conditioning but fan available and useful including overhead fan. Has pool but not used, looked great! Great bar over looking mountain range and cocktails fabulous - huckleberry gin mixture, recommended! (? Name).

The lodges are spacious and its a short walk to the dining options. Incredible views from main building. Most trips are within a reasonable drive.

It was like a little village. We had our own little cabin condo with a porch and chairs to sit outside. The lodge is amazing for food, gift shops, and a great view of Jackson lake and the Tetons. Very close to the Teton visitor centers/hiking.

The lodge is a fine enough building (if a bit dated) in a truly amazing national park. There are three restaurants on site. Laundry, a restaurant, and a general store are a five minute drive away.

Views are stunning and worth a million, location is the best in Grand Teton National Park. Lodge has 3 dining options, shops, gas station. Close to Colter Bay and 21 miles to Yellowstone.

The views in the park were amazing. The picture windows in the lodge frame the breathtaking views of Willow Flats and the Grand Tetons. For the exorbitant cost of the accomodations it was disappointing that there wasn't any meal inclusion. Even Super 8 offers free breakfast. The pool was dirty and had a lot of debris in it, only used it once. Service was excellent.

Room was clean and place is safe

Bed sheets and pillows cases were so bad, unwashed… very bad maintenance of room not cleaning the ceiling spiderwebs

All staff through out the lodge were very nice. The lodge is Just beautiful with plenty of different restaurant, choices and shopping, our cottage is lovely. Very clean with very comfortable beds . two chairs out front to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. Easy parking right near your own cottage. We would Definitely stay here again.

The lodge has great view! I have to say it’s AWESOME! Our room is very closed to the main lobby. Very quiet at night. We noticed the blanket cover has blood on it and told the front desk to change and got confirmed they will send room cleaning during the day. But when we arrived in the room in the evening it was still not changed. Called the front desk, and they immediately sent staff to change which is acceptable. The overall experience has been very pleasant. Nice view, close to the view point to take photos in the sunset or sunrise. We even captured elk 2mins away from the hotel. Will recommend to friends!

The main hotel is beautiful with a beautiful view of the Grand Tetons but the cabin is outdated and lack amenities. There is no A/C, which is better for the environment but they can get warm. We had a ceiling fan and two electrical fans and those worked great. Weather helped too, 70s.They are very spacious cabins and we loved that. Bed and shower was comfortable and the patios both front and back were cute but don’t expect a great view of the back patio. Wifi worked well thankfully. Overall the cabins are way to disconnect, clean up after a long day of exploring, and getting a restful night of sleep.

We stayed in one of the little cabins. It was cute and mostly clean. The bathroom floor was disgusting though. Hairs, dust, sticky marks all over the floor. Head hairs and 'body' hairs in the bathtub, nasty! It was so weird because the rest of the room was clean and cozy. The drinks at the restaurants are WAY overpriced. $17 for a tiny watermelon 'margarita'. One glass of wine cost almost as much as a bottle of wine purchased in their gift shop. The views were absolutely stunning and the convenience to nearby hikes was a plus. The pool area was lovely and clean. The variety of restaurants presented many dining options which I also appreciated. This could have been a perfect stay if the bathroom had been cleaned thoroughly.

The view from the main lobby is breathtaking but the room smelled moisture and not clean at all. I asked for room service on day 2 and they ignored my request, the reception said they only clean every 3 rd day stay and they just provided extra towels. Even after “the 3rd day” room service cleaning, there was still hair on the floor and the sinks and bathtub were not cleaned. The bedsheets and towels were clean, thank God! But I guess for the price we paid and for their reputation, being a main lodge in a national Park, room service need to do a much much better job.

The cottage was lovely, roomy quiet and clean until we experienced a mouse inside and my husband actually felt it on the bed when we were sleeping. I happened to see it scurrying on the floor the following night & saw where it scampered to hide. We wedged pillows and anything else to contain its space. Needless to say I sleep with the covers over my head the whole night. When we checked out I mentioned it only to have it fixed for the next guest. Desk said, well it is a National Park. Understood!

The moment we stepped in the room, we were overcame with the horrible smell of mildew which came from a pillow in a roll away bed. The smell contaminate the bedsheets and spread. We called the front desk. A service person came within 15 minutes to replace all smelly pillow and bedding. We decided to have a light dinner at the lounge and saw any tables were not cleaned up. All servers seemed to be overwhelmed. We sat at one of the tables with dirty dishes anyway and requested one of servers to clear out the table. No one came for at least 20 minutes. We notified many guests were sitting and waiting to be served. Finally, a nice young man named Juan came and took came of us. Food was less than desirable. Everything was put together so crudely, nothing made from scratch. Salad came out of bag, dressing out of jar, hummus was not garbanzo beans, may be pinto beans right out of can. Pita bread was just awful. The only good things were drinks and Juan's service. We were back at the cottage around 9:30 and tried to take a shower to discover there was no hot water. We called the front desk again and were told that there was no more hot water since everyone uses it up. We took showers with cold water. Shortly after, we tried to wash up and found there's absolutely no running water. We couldn't flush the toilet, so three of us had to leave the urine in a toilet. The running water eventually started about two hours so later. The breakfast and service atPioneer Grill were decent.

You are paying for and getting an epic view when you stay here -- the lodge is gorgeous. The cottages are definitely dated and without AC, which is an important consideration in the summer. Staff was some of the nicest we met.

The view from this property makes up for the outdated rooms. The staff go above and beyond. The view is not the only thing that makes thia propery unique the peacefulness of not having a tv in the room makes for a great way to disconnect from the world.

Beautiful area overlooking Jackson Lake and the Grand Tetons. However the classic cottages have paper thin walls. I could hear everything my neighbor was saying. I would not stay here again.

Mixed emotions as the service, friendliness, main hotel, lobby, restaurants ( just ok) and one of the best views anywhere where top notch but the cottages although very comfy need to get rid of the must smell and update the furniture. These rooms were not worthy of the high price

I really liked the cabin. It was quiet and well maintained. I should have read the reviews that said that there is no AC. There also is no microwave, or tv. There is, however, very fast internet. Just open the doors and windows and let all the bugs in while you cool down the inside of the cabin. The main building only has ac in the common areas but not the rooms. The best part of staying here is the view from the seating area behind the main building. That was spectacular. We climbed the hill to the north and got pictures of a moose in the lowlands. There was a Keurig machine in our cabin and we were able to use our own pods.

Very clean and beautiful views of the Tetons, but very overpriced. No TV or airconditioning in the cottages. Had to leave windows open overnight to cool the room down.

The vibe, location, scenery, staff and food were AMAZING! Will definitely be back.

Great location in the park. Beautiful property. Service was not what would be expected at a property of this standing. (Half made beds, inexperienced wait staff at Mural restaurant etc)

1 There was a mix up with lotion and soap and I applied the soap in the lition container. I had to call three times over three hours to finally get the lotion. 2. The room did not have a coffee machine nor microwave to get hot water. The coffee machine work only when capsule is in place. The front desk person asked me to come down to the main building lobby if I wanted a hot water. I was in a cottage about 7-8 min away from the main building. You are paying a 1000 dollars for two nights stay and have to walk back and forth to get a hot water. 3. It is been almost a day after I checked out and I hve not received a reciept statement what the front desk promised to send via my email All in all my experience withe hotel was not good.

Incompetent front desk. Beds/mattresses/pillows are painful to even describe. Bottom line, $500.00 per night for running hot shower and damp towels, room was not ready at 4:00pm, needless to say not even an apology came with it. Moreover, I requested to be next to my friends (I travelled single) the right does not know what the left is doing. There are other options in the park, much nicer places and service, this place doesn’t deserve your hard earned money!

We had the pleasure of arriving opening day (5/17). Scott at the front desk upgraded us to a lovely lake view room. When the heat did not work, Amy immediately went to work to amend the situation (The Lodge's first maintenance call of the season - I'll remember that!). JP with maintenance, Caleb in the Blue Heron, Malcolm in the Pioneer Grill, the pleasant manager of the gift shop - EVERYONE was delightful and so helpful. I wish I could remember all the names. This staff is topnotch! And I have yet to mention the jaw-dropping loveliness of the lodge, with its stunning views. We thoroughly enjoyed our too-brief stay. Thank you!

The property is awesome, but check-in process is not good, only one room is confirmed by the property, tho I booked two rooms and got comfirmed by Expedia

Excellent hotel with overall excellent service with the exception of the Pioneer Cafe! The cafe was poor service long wait even to get waited on and bellow par food. Went back to complain to cafe manager and the only reply was to give us a review card to fill out. It even took a long time to get the manager to talk to us! The front desk was much more attentive and refunded our bill for the cafe. Our dinner at the main dining room was excellent and the service was exceptional and the cabin wad super as well as the views.

The staff was great! The Blue Heron staff worked hard taking care of everyone. We loved our Rafting Guide Kent and our Horseback Guide. They were both very knowledgeable and made our adventures very fun!

All was great, fantastic! All workers were very friendly and professional. However, like many places they appear short on cleaning staff, possibly due to low wages. Lack of daily cleaning was perfectly fine but replenishment of coffee supplies, etc., need consideration.

Love this place! Central to both GTNP and Yellowstone. Will be back next year!

Perfect postcard views of Jackson Lake and Tetons. Convenient lake access for various activities. Close to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole.

We stayed at one of the "cabins" I guess you call them. Not in the main lodge building. They were fine. Nothing special. Beds were comfortable and the area was safe and inviting. The restaurants at the lodge were good. Little pricey, but to be expected. The best thing about this place is LOCATION. I thought about staying in Victor, ID for the Grand Tetons portion of our trip, and boy am I glad I didn't. Staying at this lodge puts you smack in the middle of the park, and you can hit the ground running in the morning.

Convenient location, and very quiet since we were there during an off season. Staff was very friendly but it's obvious some learned more from their training than others. We would NOT recommend the Mural Room - terrible food for the price. But would recommend the Blue Heron for food, drinks, and friendly staff.

Jackson Lake Lodge exceeded our expectations! We thoroughly enjoyed our cottage and our experience in the Grand Tetons. The food and service at the Pioneer Grill was awesome, some of the best meals we had on our entire trip and just wonderful people that were so kind and made us feel very welcome. Honestly, we were shocked how much our experience at Tetons exceeded our experience at Yellowstone especially with the parks being so closely situated.

Amazing views of Grand Teton - the food in the restaurants is reasonably priced. I extended my stay as I so much enjoyed it.

Old facility, but clean and comfortable. The cafe food was really good. The Moran restaurant had good service, but the food was extremely overpriced for what we received. We had a reservation at 5:30 when it opened. Our food came out fast and was barely warm. It was obvious that it was not cooked fresh. Very disappointing dining experience. The property was in a beautiful location and very convenient to major points of interest in the park. Would stay again, but would skip the fine dining and just eat at the cafe.

The dining room was less than satisfactory. We were seated for dinner at 8:30pm and didn't get our meal until 9:45pm. Fortunately breakfast was a buffet and we didn't have to wait for the kitchen to prepare our meal.

It was not a bad place to sleep! It does have awesome views!!! The old time cafe is a very good place to eat there!!!!!! The other two place they have I wouldn’t send my enemy to!
