No issues at all with the hotel or staff, very retro, as is typical is the South of France parking is a challenge, hotel has none but does have a drop off zone at the front for 30 mins

A pleasant elegant hotel with friendly helpful staff, close to the sea and within easy walking distance of the station. The wi-fi could be improved.

perfect location across from beach. breakfast food not so good they provide beach supplies like umbrella and mats but don’t make it obvious that it is available grounds are great for relaxing overlooking the sea

Hotel was in a brilliant location with exceptional views .However the rooms were a bit dated and although there were loads of outside areas and well tended gardens it lacked facilities to have a drink or light snack on the terrace. It seemed to cater for an older clientele. .although we are 70 we felt it lacked atmosphere and any entertainment. For such a beautiful hotel we felt it did not reach it.s full potential.

The room was very small and the in room amenities were not what would be expected of a hotel of that level. The breakfast was good but the bar/lounge and outside areas were uninviting and could do with an upgrade. The location is fabulous and reception were helpful.

Ligging aan zee perfect. Bedden klein (voeten buitenboord, ben 1,86). Douche in bad, veel te laag. Krom staan om je haar te wassen. Airco op ouderslaapkamer deed het goed, die in de ruimte van de slaapbank niet. Met nachttemperatuur van 29 graden vervelend. Ontbijtzaal mooie ruimte, maar waarom alle grote ramen open stonden is ons een raadsel. Alle warmte naar binnen. Rest hotel wel airco. Tip: pak de trein naar Monaco, 2,30 per persoon in de app van sncf te boeken. Parkeerplaats Hotel De Ville vlakbij. Per dag 14,50 euro.

Mooi en statig oud gebouw. Ligging vlakbij het strand en het centrum. Vriendelijk personeel. Mooie, gerieflijke eenpersoonskamer. Fijne extraatjes waren het gratis citroenwater en de parasols en strandmatjes die je kon uitlenen. Minder goed was het nachtlawaai op de straat. Ook het ontbijt kon beter, de broodjes waren steenhard. En echt vreselijk was het flinterdunne toiletpapier.

Nice hotel with friendly staff but with problem in parking. There is limited place to park (6 places as reception said) and if you have motorcycle you are unlucky, there is no place at all.

Didn’t clean the room everyday, no power outlets in the bathrooms. Didn’t change bed sheets for days. I visit south of France often and this was not what I expected. I’m sorry but I will not return to that hotel again.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff are wonderful ! The property is well Maintained. Our room was clean, but could benefit from a little facelift. Beds and pillows very comfortable. The breakfast/restaurant gallery is a major bonus. Not only is the gallery beautiful with marble floors overlooking the water, selection was great. Served fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries, deli meats, cheese, cereal, fruits, etc. Fantastic location, beach, restaurants, shopping all at your doorstep.

Très déçue, chambre vieille et sale, lit double très petit. Petit déjeuner horrible, rien au buffet quand on arrive 2 jours de suite, pas possible d’avoir du pain frais le premier jour. Buffet du petit déjeuner sale également. Pas du tout à la hauteur d’un hôtel 3 étoiles et tarif très élevé pour la prestation.

Hotel in eccellente posizione, assistenza del personale ottima sia per check in - check out che per altre esigenze. La colazione è molto valida e completa. Il servizio di pulizia è accurato.

L’emplacement est génial à quelques minutes de la gare et adjacent au centre de Menton. Mention toute spéciale à la réceptionniste des soirs du 16 et du 17 octobre très sympathique et qui a toujours offert un service à la clientèle irréprochable. Supervisant moi-même dans l’hospitalité à la réception elle dispose de tout les atouts. À tout cela s’ajoute la vue sur la mer; wow. Sur l’aile la plus rapprochée la vue est panoramique et j’ose dire qu’elle l’est tout autant dans l’aile principale. Un incontournable dans la région et avec grand plaisir de revenir y séjourner.

La chambre était propre et la salle de bain refaite à neuf.Un gros bémol sur le diner, des plats très simples, et surtout très très salés, j'ai du en laisser pas mal dans mon assiette Le personnel très agréable et à l'écoute.J'hésite à y retourner à cause de la nourriture.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick, dass aber sehr klein war. Einen Kleiderschrank gibt es quasi nicht, sondern eher eine Garderobe mit 3 Schubladen. Bad war ok mit neuer Dusche. Hotel liegt sehr zentral zwischen Fussgängerzone und Kiessandstrand. Leider gibt es weder Liegen noch Sonnenschirme zu mieten .Entweder muss man sich die dort kaufen oder man vorher Strandsachen mitbringen. Und man braucht Beachies,weil man sonst sehr schwer nur ins Wasser gehen kann. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bedarf einer Renovierung.

Great location, beautiful views from the room. It was a little damp in the room so the sheets were sticky but the aircondition was good so it was cool at least. No parking garage so we had to put the car 5 min away and no car charging. The breakfast was terrible, don’t even try it. It was a 3-star hotel so you get what you pay for.

J'avais réservé une chambre vue mer, ce que j'ai eu, mais sur les photos de réservation j'avais un balcon. La chambre minuscule sans balcon, vue mer et incapable d'ouvrir 2 valises tellement c'est petit. Le service est impeccable et la stationnement payant tout près.

The hotel was comfortable however my single room with a sea view was more like a monks cell than a nice hotel room. One single bed pushed up against the wall and a desk on the other wall. No coffee making facilities or any other amenities. The view from the balcony was great just over the road to the beach. Unfortunately the windows weren’t sound proofed so a bit noisy. I’ve stayed here before and the room was much better so probably just bad luck I got that room.

hôtel rénové et chambre correcte mais tres mal isolé de la rue ou il y a beaucoup de passage toute la nuit, le bruit des scooters et motos est infernal. Besoin de changer les fenetres pour du double vitrage. Face à la mer donc sympa !

Bra enkelrum. Välj att bo mot havet och ej mot gågatan om du är lättväckt. Väldigt lyhört så man hör alla sophämtningar/leveranser/städning som börjar vid 5 på morgonen varje dag om man har rum mot gågatan.

Beautiful hotel, well located, very comfortable beds, good sea view. Bit the hotel had absolutely none of the little touches that wouldn't cost much money - some tea/coffee making facilities in the room, a little bottle of water, some hair or body soaps etc. Yes there was a bottle of body wash screwed to the wall in the shower. But the room lacked any of those little touches that make you happy when you first open the door!

no fridge in the room - you have to be lucky to catch a spot in the parking that belongs to another hotel..

Lovely hotel and rooms recently renovated. Only negative was the hairdryer. A 1980s style dryer, I could move more air with my breath. Apart from that a lovely hotel in an excellent location.

Hotel Bleues le Balmoral was built in 1859, so it is an older hotel with many coats of paint and old wrought iron balconies. It faces the Mediterranean to the west and the beach road, so expect some traffic noise. Not too fancy but the breakfast hall was excellent and well maintained. Beds were soft but comfortable, with lots of pillows and crisp white sheets. Fridges only available in the Deluxe chambres. Thank you to the day manager, Sabrina, who was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. French, English, and Italian are spoken at this hotel. Recommended for direct access to the beach, dining hall and location at the edge of "old town". SNCF regional train was a 10 minute walk. This hotel was very affordable. Merci beaucoup.

Das Hotel ist stark renovierungsbedürftig. Das Bad wurde vor über 20 Jahren barrierefrei umgebaut, seitdem offensichtlich nichts mehr erneuert – Fliesen, Spiegel und Türen in schlechtem Zustand. Amenities fehlen komplett, nur defekte Wandspender mit Seife/Duschgel. Wände mehrfach notdürftig überstrichen, (Ikea-RegalKallax?) als TV-Möbel, Teppich mit sichtbaren Haaren und Schmutz. Positiv: Bett überraschend komfortabel, ausreichend großer Safe. Wasserkocher vorhanden, aber nur 2 Teebeutel und 2 Kaffeesticks für 4 Tage – keine Nachfüllung trotz Reinigung. Keine Minibar, Kein Trinkwasser in Flaschen um Zimmer, stark gechlortes Leitungswasser machte Kaffee/Tee ungenießbar. Frühstück solide und qualitativ erstaunlich ok, aber Reception völlig desinteressiert. Auf jede Frage: “We don’t know” – ob Restaurants (die tatsächlich 200m entfernt geöffnet hatten) oder Taxiinfos zum Flughafen oder Monaco. Reinigungskraft im Ti verstellt und verräumter alle persönlichen Dinge! Und Hiteleinrichtung! Inakzeptabel! Fazit: Preis-Leistung nicht akzeptabel. Ich hatte Glück mit dem Blick! Teilweise Meerblick.

I want to express my deep dissatisfaction with our recent stay at your hotel. Despite the ideal location, several factors significantly marred our experience. First and foremost, the room's quality did not meet our expectations. It fell short of what we had hoped for, and we found it lacking in cleanliness. Furthermore, we were appalled by the aggressive behavior of the housekeeper, who barged into our room at 11 a.m. without even knocking, despite the check-out time being 11:30 a.m. This situation was unpleasant and entirely unacceptable. Additionally, I would like to acknowledge that the receptionist who welcomed us at 3 a.m. was very kind and understanding. However, we were deeply disappointed by the intervention of the front desk manager, Sabrine, who responded to our complaint with indifference and a blatant lack of respect. Her attempt to justify the housekeeper's behavior only aggravated the situation and discouraged us from considering future stays at your establishment. While we understand that mistakes can happen, we hope that you will take our feedback seriously and implement measures to improve the quality of service and staff at your hotel. In conclusion, we are profoundly disappointed with this experience and are not inclined to return to your hotel in the future. We hope that you will learn from this situation and strive to enhance the quality of your services

Staff went out of their way for my parents stay. They were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful, even at late notice organising a lovely little welcome pack. They will absolutely be returning.

The front desk had the kindest ladies 24 hours a day! Every shift and day I felt completely taken care of. From the friendly greeting when I arrived until the sad farewell I was impressed by their knowledge and helpfulness.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond to help with two very difficult situations.

Excellent location! Right by the beach, close to piazza and town. 10 minute walk to train to explore nearby towns. Use Bolt or Uber if going farther. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Perfekt läge vid stranden och nyrenoverat rum. Skön säng och okej frukostutbud. Kort promenadavstånd till Gamla stan.

Hotel in ottima posizione personale in reception super disponibile eccellente in tutto ! Il cibo dell hotel risulta immangiabile ! La caposala arrogante con preferenze per i francesi ! Non esiste un buffet ma un menù fisso immangiabile con quello che scelgono loro ed impossibile cambiare un piatto esempio di salmone per dell’ insalata !assenza di verdura cotta e cruda ! Il giorno di ferragosto aperitivo con un bicchiere di succo a testa con gli stuzzichini arrivati dopo mezz’ora, la colazione poca scelta e quantità di frutta per una sola persona . Se dovete prenotare fatelo senza colazione e cena, molte persone si sono lamentate altre addirittura vedendo il menù della cena hanno preferito perdere i soldi della prenotazione della cena e sono andati a mangiare fuori. Parcheggi a pagamento o con silos vicino a 16 euro , camere grandi, silenziose, hotel nel complesso buono pessimo invece la colazione e la cena da evitare !

Très bon accueil. J’ai beaucoup aimé les deux entrées de l’hôtel, une directement sur une rue piétonne et l’autre devant le bord de mer avec accès direct sur la plage. L’établissement est propre et assez joli. Petit bémol pour le petit déjeuner, trop simple, pas bien présenté.

Frühstück war ok hätte mehr erwartet

The location on the sea front is ideally located.Staff friendly. We had problem with been mislead, we were supposed to have balcony. Sadly not..Also for special occasion we decided to have half board.Expected a lovely 3 course meal with a menu.No menu No Choice and for desert alternative option was yogurt,,, or fruit sounded like the breakfast,,So All Dissatisfied....

Wir haben Halbpension gehabt und das Essen war hervorragend besonders das Abendessen das Rührei beim Frühstück war nicht besonders empfehlenswert aber sonst war alles okay. Zimmer Personalbar top nichts auszusetzen. Die Lage ist hervorragend direkt an einer verkehrsberuhigten Zone. Am Meer kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.
