Hotel O Englewood-South Denver CO

My stay was pleasant. A/C was greatly appreciated. Overall excellent stay

The pros: The price. Nothing got stolen out of my room or truck. The location. Actually I think there was hot water in the shower. The cons: Dirty, smelly, not much in the way of window covering, feeble window AC. The mattress sagged an impressive amount and it was pretty much sleeping in a ball. The office requires a deposit and then doesn't open until 7 am as I recall, so I had to leave too early to check out and get it back.

When I 1st arrived I was informed there were no rooms available and rooms were overbooked. I explained that I made a reservation over two months ago. After checking again a room was available however it was under maintenance I would have to wait an hour.. I agreed to wait, was given room at reduce rate.. it was a 2 bed room with bed towards front and a/c in back where there was no bed. It was 90 degrees first night.. so very hot

The kitchen floor hadn't been cleaned and there was food on the floor. The bathroom was stained and grungy. The chair was worn through, stained, and shiny with grime. The bedspread was burned. The sheets were stained. Insulation peeked out of some walls. The whole place smelled like it had been a smoking room for years. It also smelled like something had gone bad in the walls. It set off my allergies and asthma, and I couldn't stay. The window sills were filthy and the TV looked like it had been washed with used tissues. When I booked it, the website charged a 15$ deposit. When I got there, they demanded an extra 10$ deposit. Upon checking out, they said that I'd get a refund in the next 3-5 days. An obvious lie. When I read the follow-up with the website, it indicated that there were no refunds for such a short-notice cancellation. I spoke to a representative, and they said they would reach out on my behalf. They finally got back to me and told me that, since the owner won't answer, I will not be receiving any refund. Hotel O? More like Motel NO.

If you have the option, stay anywhere else. Bathroom.was in horrible condition, a piece of plywood was set in the windows. The curtain was made out of a bed sheet then in half. I highly doubt the sheets were clean and the staff was absolutely no help.
