Everything was good. But would have been better to allow late check in. Do to heavy rain and road closures we arrive late and one no answered the phone after 10 pm. We slept in the car in the parking lot until the office opened in the morning.

A big extra plus is the very large hot tub with great jets in excellent working condition surrounded by beautiful murals and comfortable landscaping. You can tell a lot of thought and care goes into how hotel is maintained and grounds are kept. I would stay here again and recommend it

This is a lovely property in Oak Ridge, just outside of Ojai. It’s very spartan but wonderful in every way. My absolute favorite part was the large jacuzzi! With 50 degree weather, it was awesome to get warm and feel those strong jets, especially after the hiking I did. Thank you!

The staff here is very nice and accommodating. I did not want to pay $500 to stay in Ojai but was coming for an event there and this place was only 10 minutes away. check in was easy and fast, parking was ample and conveniently located by room. Fresh cookies while I waited to check in. The room was very clean and quiet and had everything I needed. I hung out by the pool for about an hour and there was no one else there which was great. It is actually a very large jacuzzi (not a pool) so water is warm but it is nicely decorated with 2 lounge chairs and sitting area as well. Check out was super fast. For the price this hotel was perfect for what I needed. You can also walk to a market and a few restaurants from here so that is very convenient.

This a nice little inn. The price was reasonable. The office closes at 10 pm, but the receptionist was great when I called and agreed to stay an extra 15 minutes to meet me there to check in after 10 pm. The fridge in my room had been accidentally unplugged, so I couldn't use that when I checked in and the fact that is was a little smelly inside was a bit disappointing. This seemed to be an accident, which is understandable, but perhaps they should check the rooms before people check in to be sure that everything is working/clean.

This is not a fancy place, but it doesn't pretend to be. It is convenient, affordable, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the amenities a (in-room coffee, micro, fridge) are great. No work-out room but they do have a pool.

Stayed in this place a few years ago, and we returned to a complete different " experience " Stained carpets Spiderweb in corner, Dead bugs Ripped shower curtain Asked the lady at the front to change our room, but according to her, the entire hotel is booked. (Outside neon sign still saying Vacancy) by next morning wife socks become black needed to bleaching, i was ok wearing shoes to avoid the dirt. We had a family above us 2 adults and 2 children, im pretty sure they didn't do anything extraordinary but sounded like hitting the floor above your head. This was for my birthday celebration, didn't really worked out as i was planned. I did let the front desk know, hopefully the next person don't have to go through this, and the hotel will do a better cleaning to get rid of dead bugs, spiderwebs and fix the ripped shower curtains. The carpet is unsavable. We were ready to just leave the place but already paid $200 didn't want to start look for an other one and spend more for the same night. We just stayed and kept our street clothes on, and washed everything when we get home.

the carpet in the room was so filthy, that the soles of our feet were totally back after just walking around our room for a couple of hours. the smell in the room was unbearable, trying to use fabreex to map the stench in the room does not work. Very disappointing on all accounts.

The room was in the worst condition you could expect to walk in to. We recognise it might rarely happen but it happened to us. Blood, condom, and a toilet unclean. The bedding just was not changed and we had a late check in with no other rooms available at 1 am. Exhausting to say the least. HOWEVER the manager truly was so apologetic and understood how unacceptable this was. He was on the phone with us looking up other hotels and truly

Very nice spot. Ojia is a little pricey so this nice little motel is about 5 minutes away, clean, nice people, great a/c and ice machine... sounds funny but that is important to me. Big bathroom (bonus) yeah!! I would have liked better pillows and I think I would ask for a room in the back next time. I was up front, traffic was a little noisy but not horrible in anyway.

It’s an older property but well-maintained The things we liked about it is that it had larger room, then most newer motels. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hopefully in the future, they’ll install some EV chargers

Our room key stopped working on the second day of our stay. We returned 10 pm on Saturday to find ourselves locked out. The contact number for the property on Expedia did not return our repeated calls. We were forced to find alternative lodging, without clean clothes and toiletries.

so we are local and had to stay due to tenting our house. we asked after 1200 if we could check in and were told under NO circumstances could we do that until after 1500. How hard would it be to have them clean our room a bit earlier? No hand soap in the bathroom? Oh, we don't do that, really? Yeah, go to the tub and squeeze some out and go back to the sink.

Good stay if you want to be close to Ojai but can't find anything in Ojai for a good price. Place is nice enough; average motel feel. Bed was ok but overall place was clean and convenient. Shower was also decent. Heat got so hot had to turn it off! It got cold at night though so had to have the heat on. Overall would stay again for easy access to Ojai but not a place that I would rave about. Ample parking; not much to walk around nearby. Definitely need a car to get around!

Desk staff was super nice. Rooms are very clean. I arrived at 330 PM and they wanted me to wait awhile for a 2nd floor room. I did not have time, so I took a 1st floor room. This is NOT safe for a single female. The immediate area has 3 liquor stores, so not a very nice area. The parking lot is open to the street. No gates to prevent random people. As a single female, I will not stay there again. Very sorry because the people are nice.
