Stayed 3 nights

Hotel and rooms are stunning and everywhere spotless. The welcome gift of port was a nice touch. We also had a bottle of Cava and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to the room as we were staying for my husband’s 50th, so this was a lovely touch. The view we had wasn’t the best but views from the rooftop were special. It was great to go up to the roof for a drink at the end of each night. We used the pool on our first day and the weather was abit grey and drizzly and it felt cool not heated. There are no outdoor heaters in the bali beds etc so we didn’t spend too long there after sunset in swimwear. On a sunny day it was completely different pool felt perfect and no heaters were needed. We had waiter service to our beds, all staff very pleasant. I had a cosmo which wasn’t the best for €15 so we stuck to prosecco and beers after that. I ordered the chicken caesar salad for lunch which was lovely, highly recommend. The location is perfect a few minutes walk to anywhere you want to go. Breakfast was plentiful but croissants were not fresh and warm which was a shame and there was no nutella. Coffees were excellent. Fried eggs overcooked but poached eggs were perfect for me and omelette was nice too. Cava and orange juice were outside the restaurant so we were not sure if this was included if it was it should’ve been inside next to the juice station not completely separate. There were staff on the external doors 24hours who were very friendly and welcoming. We will be back x

Stayed 4 nights

We stayed four nights and from the moment we arrived the staff were brilliant. The first night we found the room ( a junior suite) wasn’t really suitable due to the layout. The following day they gave a beautiful suite, must be one of the best in hotel. Everyday when we were picking up the car, they gave us water for the journey. As my wife is disabled, they kindly said they would deliver breakfast to save her having to go to the restaurant on a morning and they didn’t charge extra. Room service food generally was a very good standard and reasonable priced Overall we have to commend the staff, helpful, friendly, the list goes on. Great stay, thank you all again; you are a credit to the Melia group

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is newly built, beautifully designed, and furnished to a very high standard. Everything feels fresh, stylish, and luxurious. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The gym was great, with a good selection of basic equipment, and the restaurant served delicious food. The breakfast was excellent, with a fantastic selection. Overall, a beautiful hotel with a luxurious feel and great service. We would happily stay here again!

Unfortunately, the service did not live up to what you would expect from a five-star hotel. There were several small things that together made the experience disappointing. For example, staff were vacuuming the breakfast area while guests were still eating, which felt very inappropriate for a hotel of this standard. It was also surprisingly impossible to get a coffee between 10:30 and 11:00. More concerning, however, was the attitude when we raised these issues. Instead of listening and trying to find a solution, the response was often to question our feedback or explain that “this is our routine.” At a five-star hotel, you expect flexibility, attention to detail and a genuine focus on the guest experience — not explanations about internal routines. The hotel itself may have five-star facilities, but unfortunately the service during our stay did not feel five-star.
