The Powerscourt is an absolutely breathtaking hotel. We had such tremendous service and the food and beverages options are wonderful. We had a special movie and popcorn night arranged in our room and we partook in the falconry and it was such an amazing experience. You will learn so much about the beautiful birds and it is such a rare opportunity offered by the hotel. The grounds are impeccable and wonderful pool as well.

Our stay at Powerscourt was excellent from the moment we entered through the front door. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very clean and peaceful. The room had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. The Espa spa was also very peaceful and relaxing. We ate at the Sally Gap and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend Powerscourt for anyone looking for a relaxing trip.

A fabulous stay in one of the most beautiful locations. The pool and spa area here is really lovely with dark, obsidian feel. The food is lovely and the bar looks out across the Powerscourt estate to the Sugar Loaf hill. The service is impeccable and the rooms are huge and well appointed. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended and worth the money.

Very scenic area. Beautiful hotel in a historic area. Large indoor pool area makes up for the cold climate. Sica restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast, except that there seems to be a lot of new staff that are somewhat awkward and need better training.

Hotel is beautiful. Extremely clean and well kept. We stayed during mid term break and struggled to get a booking in bar for dinner so had to eat in Enniskerry. Some work going on in the spa changing rooms which detracted from experience. Hotel itself and staff amazing throughout.

The room was nice and clean, there was some wallpaper peeling off the wall and one of the lights in the room was not working. The staff were fantastic with the exception on one concierge at the sugar loaf bar who was very rude and dismissive.

Beautiful hotel & property, however for the price point & luxury hotel status I did not find staff (other than bell hops) to be very customer service oriented. I’ve received much better service in lower rated status hotels. In room one sink drain was stuck so draining, shampoo & conditioners were either not filled or pump broken as you could only get barely get any out & no turn down service which should be standard at this hotel class.

This was the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff was just outstanding. Cleanest rooms by far of any place I have stayed. The bellman, maids, desk staff, waitresses all outstanding. The grounds keeper was fun and friendly to talk to. The room was beautiful it was just a perfect stay. This was our 40th wedding anniversary and it could not have been more special.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the room was superb with excellent facilities and, most importantly, clean and tidy. I can recommend the Sika restaurant for fine dining in elegant surroundings. Definitely five star experience.

We had a lovely stay as a family of four! The hotel itself is immaculate, the rooms are stunning and very spacious! For a five star hotel I would say that they could do with including a few small touches, like other five stars- for example there is not so much as a chocolate on the pillow or anything complimentary in the mini bar which other five stars have. Minibar has milk pods instead of fresh milk in a jug. I also think nightly price should include breakfast, the hotel seems to upsell breakfast for 28 per head and charge 7.50 for room service as a delivery charge which is crazy to me. The grounds are beautiful and staff very pleasant! The views of Wicklow mountains are beautiful also!

Exceptional hotel experience in a spectacular setting. Helpful friendly well-trained staff throughout. Spacious rooms and suites fitted and furnished to a very high standard. Service and food in main restaurant was outstanding. One has to dig deep to find fault with this hotel. Room furnishings could be updated and hair dryer sub-par. Otherwise perfect.

The Powerscourt Hotel was our absolute favorite place during our trip to Ireland. The hotel was fabulous and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous. Check-in was a breeze. Rooms were beyond spacious and so elegant. The grounds were breathtaking. The breakfast was very nice with a lot of options. The dinner at Sika was the only disappointment. I think they were going for fine dining and it just fell short. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Ireland.

Basic room is enormous at over 45m sq and has huge comfortable bed, large bedroom, separate hallway with large spacious dressing room and large spacious bathroom with shower and bath separate. My only slight criticism would be the pillows on the bed. Not your typical 5 star down and feather combo but a hollow fibre style that wasn’t as comfortable or luxurious. Still pretty good.

A 5 star stay should focus on the customers experience and check in and breakfast is where Powerscourt let itself down. We arrived at check in at 2pm and knew that the room might not be ready but we had spa treatments booked for 2:30. When we arrived at the desk the lady proceeded to fiddle with files and tidy up rather than start to check us in. She then said she would leave the keys at the spa reception so we could go straight to the room after as it would be ready by then. The keys were not at the spa reception when we asked and then at reception she told us that they were down there and almost expected us to go back down and get them- it was only when a manager stepped in and said to just issue two new key cards that she did! Breakfast is also €26 per person which is fine but then to have a supplement on top for certain items is just greed in my opinion and not in line with other 5 star hotels that we have stayed in where there focus at breakfast is on the customer having the best experience possible and provide the breakfast they want. Aside from those two points the hotel is beautiful and has lovely spacious and clean rooms

Beautiful hotel. However, my husband left his watch in our room. We rang within an hour of leaving to be told the lady who deals with lost property was not in. Somebody would call us the following day. Nobody called and this went on for another two days with us ringing and being told we would have to wait until she returned. Eventually we received an email to say they didn’t have it. We also paid for our breakfast on arrival however after we left the hotel they tried to charge my card for the breakfast amount again.

We go to your hotel often. It’s always excellent- on this occasion it was very good but the staff were not as good as last April. At reception when we arrived the lady was sorting out a previous credit card issue and felt it was okay to leave us standing and waiting. Yes she said sorry but normally the guest arriving comes first. The guy beside her was awkward about things. Asked if we could stay to the back of hotel which we always do but he start making a big deal about cost etc. eventually after speaking with the office he said okay. He was slow with everything and leaving I asked could we use Bonvoy points to leave at 1 instead of noon. He said he needed to speak with Manager and never came back to us. Small point because restaurant and food were excellent but the staff take my husband’s plate when he is finished and I am not, not good etiquette! We both felt the ladies doing treatments were not as good as before

Hotel and setting were both great. However breakfast is an extra €28 each, which seems expensive given the cost of the hotel. In addition, there was another charge if you wanted to order from the menu.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful bar the serving staff. It felt like there is more training required. The Bar and Restaurant serving was slow and a little clumsy. Trying to get a drink in the main bar was a long wait despite 4 persons being behind the bar. Just training I would think
