Excellent property great comfortable rooms Close to airport about 5km from Ciampino town where train station is, Rome 15 minutes away £1.30 a ticket A very peaceful tranquil place People there very kind & helpful Lady there delivered to my room complementary wine with crisps & peanuts which I had on their beautiful terrace which has a magnificent view They ran me into to town & back Then into town the following day in their shuttle very reasonable price Great place great people

Sono appena tornato a casa in Scozia e mi sono divertito molto alla Residenza d'Epoca Pietra di Ponente. Il personale addetto all'accoglienza è professionale e sempre elegante. Mi chiedevano sempre come fosse andata la giornata. Il personale delle pulizie fa un lavoro fantastico e lavora sodo ogni giorno. Non posso che ringraziarli. Il personale della cucina è molto pulito e mantiene la sala da pranzo così bella per cena. Il posto mi ha ricordato la Residenza d'Epoca di un monastero con un nuovo look. Una menzione speciale va a Luca, il giardiniere che lavora sodo ed è una parte fondamentale del funzionamento del posto. Si occupa della manutenzione del giardino e della proprietà. Si occupa anche delle navette ed è un membro di spicco del team della Residenza d'Epoca. Roma è raggiungibile in treno. Una breve passeggiata di 20 minuti porta all'Acqua Acetosa, che vi porta a Roma in 20 minuti, mentre Ciampino è a 45 minuti a piedi. Ho avuto le lacrime agli occhi quando ho lasciato questo posto, ma come ho detto a Martina, non è un addio, è un arrivederci.

From he reception, right through, they where amazing, always at hand willing to help. The view from our room was amazing. As neither my daughter & I drove, property is not accessible by public transport, we had to rely on the shuttle so that kinda limited my outings The nearest bus stop according to Google maps was 20 minutes away walking, which is not accessible as there where no safe places to walk, the roads are too narrow & not safe. The shuttle service was amazing though, the times are as advertised which I loved. I had a late arrival and as my daughter had arrived earlier she arranged it all. Our price was including breakfast which was fantastic. The home baked pies where amazing. Our rooms where cleaned to our satisfaction although we only requested towel changes once as we hardly stayed in our room it was not necessary for a daily clean. The hotel has ample parking, & outside seating space, we had breakfast on the patio outside, & behind the property you have more seating space. You have a local taxi service which we where booking with through the Uber App. This was during times the shuttle service was not available. The train station we used was Ciampino which is the most reliable with more frequent trains. The journey to Roma Termini from Ciampino by train is 15 minutes costing €1.50 single per adult. We also went to Lake Albano 25 minutes on the train then a short walk to the lake. Overall our stay was fantastic and I would definitely highly recommend.

The staff was amazing! From those at front desk, shuttle driver and restaurant staff! We hope to return, and wish we could've stayed longer. The property is well-appointed, secure (gated) , in a beautiful setting. The food on property was outstanding. There is nothing in walking distance, but with their shuttle service getting to Rome center by train was easy. Quick 10min drive to local airport. We left at 7:20 for our 8:30 flight. It was a breeze!

Hotel beautiful, staff amazing, breakfast good. Views from hotel stunning. However 20 mins drive from main metro so about 30€ each way every day as shuttle not readily available. Hotel does partner with taxi company who are lovely but more expensive than ittaxis. Note hotel not within walking distance to anywhere so need car or taxi. It was lovely to come out of Rome each night to the peace and calm of this hotel, staff and surroundings.

Residenza veramente molto bella, molto curata nel suo insieme , appartamento su due piani gradevole; esterni bellissimi. Pecca veramente grande sono le pulizie( inesistenti) e questo è un gran peccato perché l’insieme sarebbe eccezionale.

It was a beautiful property, bellissima! Our room had an amazing view. Ciampino is a beautiful town and it’s convenient to have a train station nearby, not the Sassone station however as that one is difficult to get to, but the Ciampino train station. Our breakfast was delicious, the staff was always kind and helpful. The facility is kept very clean and the property itself is behind a gate! Overall we are very happy with our stay!

Staff very helpful and friendly. Property very clean and well organized. Rooms are clean and refreshed daily. Location - super. Very close to the metro station. Metro will take you to Rome in just a few minutes.And then is Irenie, real sweet heart, always happy to help you .

Great breakfast!! The staff were incredibly helpful. The rooms were cozy. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back if God permits us. The trains were easy to catch and get to Rome's Termini station. There is nothing I disliked about this property.

Charming small, intimate hotel in a lovely, rural setting. If you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city, this hotel could be for you. Enjoyed the views of the orchards and groves and the sunsets. Room was spacious and lovely.

This is by far one of my favorite hotel stays. The room is nice, the view is awesome, the staff work hard to make the stay better from the front counter to the kitchen to the clean up crew and the shuttle driver. Thanks for an amazing stay!
This is by far one of my favorite hotel stays. The room is nice, the view is awesome, the staff work hard to make the stay better from the front counter to the kitchen to the clean up crew and the shuttle driver. Thanks for an amazing stay!

I booked at Residenza d'Epoca Pietra di Ponente and I enjoyed every minute of my stay there. The service they provided me during my stay was above 5 stars. The friendly service makes you feel at home, like family. Irene? Daniela, Leonardo and a new girl (sorry, I forgot her name) at the front desk were superb and all have excellent interpersonal and customer management skills. Melania and Luciana in the kitchen were also excellent in taking care of me every morning... I always had my Americano coffee as soon as I sat down. Their food was Mucho Buena. They all deserved to be rewarded for their great work. Without a doubt, when I return to Rome in the future I will stay here again. Hotel Residenza d'Epoca Pietra di Ponente. Irene went the extra mile and helped me book a taxi with Carlo and find trains to Venice, Florence and Ciampino. She helped me like a real travel agent. I loved it... THANK YOU IRENE

Sono appena tornato a casa in Scozia e mi sono divertito molto alla Residenza d'Epoca Pietra di Ponente. Il personale addetto all'accoglienza è professionale e sempre elegante. Mi chiedevano sempre come fosse andata la giornata. Il personale delle pulizie fa un lavoro fantastico e lavora sodo ogni giorno. Non posso che ringraziarli. Il personale della cucina è molto pulito e mantiene la sala da pranzo così bella per cena. Il posto mi ha ricordato la Residenza d'Epoca di un monastero con un nuovo look. Una menzione speciale va a Luca, il giardiniere che lavora sodo ed è una parte fondamentale del funzionamento del posto. Si occupa della manutenzione del giardino e della proprietà. Si occupa anche delle navette ed è un membro di spicco del team della Residenza d'Epoca. Roma è raggiungibile in treno. Una breve passeggiata di 20 minuti porta all'Acqua Acetosa, che vi porta a Roma in 20 minuti, mentre Ciampino è a 45 minuti a piedi. Ho avuto le lacrime agli occhi quando ho lasciato questo posto, ma come ho detto a Martina, non è un addio, è un arrivederci.

We were staying for one night so that we could be close to the Ciampino airport for an early flight the next day. Irene, the hostess/reception was a dream! She was so kind and helpful and a delight to chat with. She arranged a ride to a local restaurant for dinner, since we didn't have a car. They also provided a ride to the airport the next morning, which was very helpful.

The staff was amazing! From those at front desk, shuttle driver and restaurant staff! We hope to return, and wish we could've stayed longer. The property is well-appointed, secure (gated) , in a beautiful setting. The food on property was outstanding. There is nothing in walking distance, but with their shuttle service getting to Rome center by train was easy. Quick 10min drive to local airport. We left at 7:20 for our 8:30 flight. It was a breeze!

From he reception, right through, they where amazing, always at hand willing to help. The view from our room was amazing. As neither my daughter & I drove, property is not accessible by public transport, we had to rely on the shuttle so that kinda limited my outings The nearest bus stop according to Google maps was 20 minutes away walking, which is not accessible as there where no safe places to walk, the roads are too narrow & not safe. The shuttle service was amazing though, the times are as advertised which I loved. I had a late arrival and as my daughter had arrived earlier she arranged it all. Our price was including breakfast which was fantastic. The home baked pies where amazing. Our rooms where cleaned to our satisfaction although we only requested towel changes once as we hardly stayed in our room it was not necessary for a daily clean. The hotel has ample parking, & outside seating space, we had breakfast on the patio outside, & behind the property you have more seating space. You have a local taxi service which we where booking with through the Uber App. This was during times the shuttle service was not available. The train station we used was Ciampino which is the most reliable with more frequent trains. The journey to Roma Termini from Ciampino by train is 15 minutes costing €1.50 single per adult. We also went to Lake Albano 25 minutes on the train then a short walk to the lake. Overall our stay was fantastic and I would definitely highly recommend.

Only complaint is it is impossible to get a taxi or uber to come out for local travel. They are happy to come to take you to Roma or airport, but refuse to show for around town trips.

It was a beautiful property, bellissima! Our room had an amazing view. Ciampino is a beautiful town and it’s convenient to have a train station nearby, not the Sassone station however as that one is difficult to get to, but the Ciampino train station. Our breakfast was delicious, the staff was always kind and helpful. The facility is kept very clean and the property itself is behind a gate! Overall we are very happy with our stay!

Great breakfast!! The staff were incredibly helpful. The rooms were cozy. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back if God permits us. The trains were easy to catch and get to Rome's Termini station. There is nothing I disliked about this property.

We stayed for one night only and booked this hotel for an overnight stay due to its proximity to Ciampino airport which was a 10 minute taxi drive away. Prior to travelling they were excellent in providing information on travel arrangements. The hotel is a traditional Italian provincial hostelry located in a semi rural area. The room we had was really nice with wooden beams on ceiling and wooden furniture. It had a bidet and shower. The staff were really friendly and attentive. We had a really nice traditional Italian meal. As we were leaving at 6:30 am a takeaway breakfast bag was provided. If in the area again I would happily rebook
