Hotel staff were very helpfull anf friendly. Good selection of breakfast. Hotel is close to the Metro and train station. They have shuffle board and table tennis and the lobby was nice. We had a connecting room. One room was renovated resently, but the other room was not so the shower floor was a bit scary to take a shower in it, as the tiles was very loose and the shower floor was soft. If we had small children, they would probably cut their toes on the loose tiles. Our teenagers decided to not to use the shower because of the shower floor. We tried to put towels on the floor, but it felt like the floor was soft and it was uncomfortable for us to use the shower as it was. It would also have been a better review if the entrance to the spa was free for guest staying at the hotel. For 4 people it is too expensive just to pay fot the entrance to the spa.

Stayed 5 nights

Our family had a wonderful stay at this hotel! We were travelling with kids aged 5, 7 and 11, and they all loved the hotel - and so did we adults! The staff was very nice and helpful, the breakfast was really good (I especially loved their coffee and omelettes!). The pool area was really nice and our kids just loved to be able to swim there every day (the swimming time for families with kids was from 9 to 12 in the morning). We even got clean towels, bathrobes and slippers to the pool area from the reception every day! We stayed at the family room with two connecting rooms which was very convenient. The rooms were quite small (at least with the amount of luggage that we had with us) but manageable. The rooms were a bit warm during nights but there was a big fan in the room (which was quite noisy though). We also had our own fan with us so we used that in the other room. The parking lot was big and free of charge. We could even charge our car in the parking lot since there were three chargers for electric vehicles. The location of the hotel was just brilliant! There are lots of grocery stores (we used Maxi ICA every day) and outlets nearby (and even an outlet village). We would definitely come back here anytime and will recommend this hotel for our friends and relatives!

Stayed 5 nights

Welcome Hotel was once my preferred choice when visiting the area, but declining standards led me to move my business elsewhere. After two years, I decided to give it another chance with a five-night stay. Unfortunately, nothing appears to have changed. Housekeeping was inconsistent throughout my visit. My room was not serviced after the first night. Despite displaying the "Service My Room" sign for the remainder of my stay, the bathroom was partially cleaned on day two, while the bed and waste bin were left untouched. For the final two days, no housekeeping service was provided at all. The Superior King Room remains compact, but I had hoped to see some investment in refurbishment. Instead, the room showed obvious signs of wear, including stained carpets, scratched furniture, a loose toilet seat, and ineffective ventilation that supplied only lukewarm air. The limited TV channel selection, one of the reasons I stopped staying here previously, also remains unchanged and is disappointing for a hotel at this price point. Breakfast is still acceptable, although the selection has been slightly reduced. Staff work hard but often struggle to keep buffet items replenished, even at less busy periods. The evening restaurant has also deteriorated. Menu choices are even more limited than before, offering insufficient variety for multi-night guests. On one evening I chose Uber Eats over the hotel restaurant, which says much about the dining experience.
