The hotel was nice. The room was spacious and clean. The outdoor pool is nice, though was a bit chilly in October. The indoor pool temperature was better, but there was crowded. Hot tubs were not working when I was there. There are plenty of restaurants and shops near the hotel, but they are very tourist driven and not my taste. Old town is about a 30-45 minute walk, which is a nicer area. The beach is about a 10 minute walk, and is beautiful. My biggest issue is that I was charged extra fees after checking out, which I only found after returning home. I did not use the mini bar or buy any drinks or food in the hotel restaurant or bar. No one will respond to me about the extra charge and I did not receive any invoice. It’s too bad. It’s a nice hotel, but I would not return because of this.

Room was lovely big and spacious and so was the bathroom and the pool is big and wasn’t freezing considering it was September , the gym isn’t good I can’t say anything good about that lol but the rest was great, the jacuzzis in the indoor pool are both not working which sucks but otherwise a good place I would stay again.

Meliá has a big hotel structure in Benidorm. Facility and amenities are nice but the service is strictly by the book and such a big hotel quite crowded, make it not enjoyable. Check in was only allowed after 4pm, the big and nice swimming pool premises were closed at 8pm, having staff “pushing”us out of there even before the hour (no chance to, at least, stay there enjoying the end of the afternoon). Breakfast got a wide variety of food and drink but the quantity of people served there goes against the quality and comfort to make it enjoyable. Once again, staff was punctually closing doors … Finally, check out was 12pm sharp, having staff 15 minutes before the hour, knocking the door to remind us to leave Definitively, not a nice experience for us

Shame the pool wasn’t finished and there was building work across the road which was pritty noisy in the mornings which both weren’t mentioned in our correspondence apart from that nothing to complain about

The breakfast buffet was something else! It brought out my inner fatty because there was so much good quality, fresh food. Highly recommended. The location was perfect, the pool was quiet, spacious, and the bar was good. Thebpaper cups were a bit disappointing though. However, the bar upstairs was beautiful. A proper sun trap, with beer glasses in the freezer. That was a nice touch. We'll definitely stay again!

Breakfast had lots of options and was good. The beds were big and comfortable but we had a major issue with housekeeping. On the second day, I had to chase reception so our room would be cleaned, and when they went, they didn't even empty the bins which were full to the top with dirty nappies. On the third day, I had to chase again. After loads of chasing, housekeeping came with towels and weren't even going to change the sheets, I had to ask for the sheets to be changed. On the fourth night, again our room was neglected and not done. I had to speak to guest experience and they said our room would be done at 11am but it wasn't and I had to complain once again. Housekeeping did our room at half past 12 after I complained. They were very apologetic and gave us cheese and a bottle of champagne and let us do free late check out but the champagne was left in the room because we had our 7 month old with us so we weren't going to drink. Besides that bad experience, we enjoyed the outdoor pool, which has a massive area to lay in the sun and the pools are quite big. Only disappointing factor is that they only open the pool at 9am. Would have been nice to be able to enjoy it earlier in the morning. For a 4star hotel I expected better. Management did have good intentions with their offerings but in the end it didn't really compensate for what we went through.

Anlage in die Jahre gekommen. Klodeckel richtig ecklig. Unfreundliches Personal Keine Zimmerreinigung, nur Betten wurden gemacht Kellner sehr unfreundlich. Beim Tischabräumen fiel ihr das Besteck auf dem Tisch und spritzte auf dem Tisch und mein Kleid. Dafür hat sie sich nicht einmal entschuldigt. Allein die Poolanlage ist an diesem Hotel schön und gepflegt

La atención del personal es muy buena. Las habitaciones muy viejas, mobiliario viejo, bastante sucio (puerta llena de dedos), colchones y almohadas deplorables, falta cubre camas, silla toda descosida! He tenido que pedir cambio de habitación por tener un olor a cerrado muy fuerte! No es el estado esperado para un hotel Meliá!

Una de las toallas tenía una marca de pisada de zapatillas y estaban puestas como "limpias" , no había ni un peine ni pasta dental de cortesía, el secador de pelo está puesto con un cable de un metro enfrente del WC, muy incomodo de usar.Hay que llevarlo todo de casa.

Without doubt. The best hotel we've stayed in when coming to Benidorm. Check in staff friendly and helpful. Dining room staff the same. Rooms modern, clean and plenty of room. Will definitely stay ahain.

3rd time returning this hotel and each time has gone more down hill Noisy that’s mostly guests in rooms moving things about u hear all the scratches on floor and doors slamming Food is poor cold and limited during the week but picks up at bit at weekend when the Spanish decent on the hotel but also very noisy also the waiting staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there and definitely no service with a smile Check in took over 25 mins with all the checks I won’t be using this hotel again and I as a little disappointed

Public areas and pool area are lovely. Bedrooms are tired especially the bathrooms tiles are cracked body wash no longer on the wall just holes. Had to change rooms due to issues with shower room above us leaked through the ceiling then our bath leaked flooding the bedroom. Staff were not apologetic about the issues. Breakfast choice was amazing.

Stayed 7 nights, everything good apart from 1 gripe, the beds, its like sleeping on hard granite, spoke with other guests they all said the same, im leaving today & all I need is sleep, could sleep for a week ! Would come back no problem but not with these beds 😄👍

The hotel is surprisingly big! But you dont notice it until your in the restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area was nice, clean and relaxing. Location is good, far enough away from the night life to not affect you, but close enough to go enjoy in that it doesnt take too long to get from/to. Only negatives, hotel needs a refresh in places. For example, the bath and toilet seat both had many chips in them. The room had lots of telephone line ports, but no USB slots, so feel like it current times they should be swapped around. Was only B&B, lots of choice, but hot food wasnt always the hottest. Overall, nice hotel and would happily stay here again!

The pool area had the look of an oasis The breakfast was good The evening meal wasn’t that great We were In the level our balcony was large but with a plastic table and 2 chairs The showers don’t work properly pulsing hot and cold The free beer was good but other hotel in the group give spirits as well

Hotel is in a perfect location, room was comfortable and clean. Food choice was good. Issues are with the staff. The bar staff are incredibly rude. Prices change day to day. If they see cash then pice is always higher. Male bar staff are inappropriately nice to women to the point of being creepy.

Jeg har bodd på Melia Benidorm sikker 20-30 ganger, både i forbindelse med jobb, men også privat. Beliggenhet: Melia hotell ligger særs bra til. Det har en sentral beliggenhet, men samtidig noe tilbaketrukket slik at man ikke plages av støy fra nattelivet. Det er ikke til å stikke under en stol at Benidorm er «invadert» av fulle briter uten at jeg skal være rasistisk eller fordomsfull. Resepsjon: Hver gang jeg har hatt noe med de i resepsjonen å gjøre har de alltid vært svært imøtekommende og hjelpsom. De hilser alltid nå man går fordi på vei ut eller inn, med mindre de er opptatt med andre gjester. Rom: Jeg vet ikke når Melia er bygget, men rommene begynner å bli ganske slitt. Rommene hadde helt klart trengt en liten «overhaling». Melia består av to «tårn» og har 23 etasjer. Spør alltid etter en rom så langt opp som du kan få. Utsikten er da formidabel. Benidorm ser egentlig ut som et «mini-Manhattan» med alle sine høye bygninger. Sengene er utstyrt med sengetøy i myt og deilig silke. I dusjen er et tre store pumpeflaske med Shampo, balsam og «shower-Gel» fra Rituals. Håndvask dispenser er også fra Rituals. Eneste minuset er at du må bøye deg over toalettet for å hente såpe for håndvask. Alle rommene har store romslige balkonger med gode solforhold. Pris: Jeg kom nettopp tilbake fra Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, og der måtte jeg betale mye mer per natt på et dårligere hotell. er du tidlig ute med bestillingen din og i tillegg holder deg unna høysesongen

Härlig pool, fin öppn och stor lounge reception. Rymlig balkong. Ok frukost. Rums korridorer och rummen skulle behöva en uppdatering, lite slitet. En bit från stranden men det visste vi. Taxi är billigt om man vill ta sig till Gamla stan, annars 30 minuter att gå.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times when we have been to Benidorm and we are very comfortable there the staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are very nice we choose to have bed and breakfast and the food at breakfast is quality and a lovely selection for everyone for everyone we will definitely stay there again
