Lovely hotel with a lot of green. Staff are very nice, polite and helpful. They are also quick on feedback. When we first check-in to the hotel, terrace in the room was a bit dirty due to some leaves from tree. After we told them, they immediately sent someone to clean. The room is clean and spacious. Breakfast is okay with variety of options. The restaurant „Baan Dum“ offer great Thai food with live music in the evening. The only downside would probably be the fitness that some equipments don‘t seem to get taken care of and the air-con in the fitness room smell. But other than that it‘s a great place to spend time for your vacation and private time with your love one. Property is inaccessible to the sea.

Bra hotell men börjar bli slitet. Vi var där med två barn och allt var väldigt smidigt då de låg samlat, restaurang, kids club och pool. Bra pool för barnen med olika djup. Väldigt bra frukost. Dock bedrövlig service på lunch och middagar. Vi fick vänta extremt länge på maten och det blev ofta fel på beställningarna. Det fanns tyvärr ingen strand vid boendet.

Lovely courteous and helpful staff and beautiful hotel grounds with a traditional style to the property. The food was so good in quality and portion size, so very good value and recommended. Nice touch too the hotel does a complimentary chocolate hour late afternoon (but to perfect the kind gesture it there should be tea and coffee included too, IMO). Really nice spa experience too. So ver my relaxing and worth the cost. We had a private pool villa which we didn’t use that much as the sun never really stayed on the pool area for long enough so worth considering when choosing pool villa or other room options. However the villas are very private, comfortable and relaxing. The grounds are just beautiful and manicured sensitive to the tropical surroundings and feel. Job well done by the ground keeping staff. Drinks a bit overpriced and a 24h or late lobby bar is needed since the “beach” bar closes at 10pm so thereafter room service is only option which isn’t as social if part of a group. But overall this was a genuinely pleasant stay and would go back when in Hua Hin.

Truely a lovely little gem of a hotel outside of Hua Hin. Hotel grounds are beautiful and manicured. Swimming pools are big and cleaned daily. Staff are wonderful and go above and beyond. We had amazing service there from start to finish. Rooms are huge. Breakfast and chocolate hour and food in general are superb. Highly recommend.

A beautiful hotel with two big pools, spacious rooms in a green garden setting. Very friendly staff and a good breakfast at the poolside. Unfortunately there is no beach nor swimmable water (we visited the place end of October) - the sea was brown and very smelly. A big minus was the third bed - we booked a room for 3 adults and paid extra for an additional bed, which was only suitable for a child. So it’s only recommended for a couple (plus one child).

We were fortunate enough to get a villa with own pool. However, due to the limited amount of sun beds at the hotel, it was necessary to use the private pool on two days out of three. The food selection was great and the staff was pleasant. A few occasions where we called the reception and nothing happened on their side. The gym wasn’t really good and was very limited which is not really good enough for a resort like this. The hotel itself was a bit old and needed some update. Other than that, we enjoyed it very much.

It’s ok, but only ok. Far too expensive for what you get and not a five star hotel. Cleaning was done after 5 pm almost every day same time we wanted to use our shower. Forgot some kind of towels every day. We had a pool villa and before cleaning it was way too many leaves all over. Not nice. Restaurant forgot our order a few times. But the most annoying thing was that there was absolutely no chans to get a sunbed by the pool our whole stay.

Vi hade en villa med privat pool. Samtliga dörrar har små och stora springor som släpper in både mygg och geckos. Sängarna är verkligen stenhårda så ingen i familjen sov särskilt bra. Kommer du efter 9:30 till poolområdet så är alla solstolar upptagna. På plussidan är samtlig personal väldigt trevliga och tillmötesgående. Maten på Baan dum är gudomlig och hela området har en mysig stämning med gångar och vatten.

Overall felt like not right for the price you are paying - water walk ways broken pool surroundings dirty one pool was even not cleaned for a while ( water greenish or do they call it emerald pool for a reason ) once you left the room it was just not feeling any special for the money you spent there. Väldigt fint hotell och trevlig poolområde! Dock var de svårt att lyckas få en solstol att ligga på trots att hotellet knappt var halvbelagt. Vi bodde i en polcirklar och det var väldigt trevligt och fint rum. Bra städning och enkelt att få hjälp med städning av poolen och annat. Frukosten var utmärkt. Däremot maten på halfvoard var under all kritik och så även servicen generellt i just restaurangerna. Inget att rekommendera. Då hotellet låg lite of var det svårt att på ett enkelt sätt äta någon annanstans.

We stayed at the resort for 6 nights during the off-season (September). We were lucky with the weather and not crowded at all. The hotel/resort is quite unique as no normal hotel rooms. Only suites and villas. The Resort is a bit old but very well maintained both the grounds as well as the rooms and all of the staff are well trained and friendly. The resort is a little distance from Hua Hin downtown and no restaurants nearby. The Resort only has 2 restaurants (1 Thai and 1 Western) and both are very expensive. Short taxi/Grab/TukTuk ride to Downtown Hua Hin (about 200 Bath). All in all a very nice place and i am sure we will be back

The property is in a lovely setting where I would say the rooms are the highlight. We had a pool villa and it was very well appointed with an indoor and outdoor shower. It was very nice. The property is large but not too large so it can still feel intimate. The front office manager, Pimchanok made our stay extra special and took care of us. The staff are all very nice and very attentive especially to servicing room requests. They are prompt and efficient. However at the dining venues there are language barriers that lead to misunderstandings. They always come through in the end as they are very focused on pleasing their guests. Thank you for a nice stay.

The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and all the staff are very attentive and always very polite. In some places, you can tell that the hotel is getting a little old. The sea is not directly accessible, but separated by a wall and accessible via a step. The half-board menu at the Kampu Restaurant could be more varied; during a week's stay, you pretty much try everything once. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, good value for money, and I can recommend a stay at the Mövenpick Asara.

Oh wow what a place… the photos do not do it justice. It’s tranquil heaven. Not over crowded, our lagoon terrace suite was just superb, so spacious and clean, the most comfortable bed, no noise from anywhere and an outside shower (inside one too) as well! Hua Hin is a great choice if you like to relax in the day and prefer a bit of city experience in the evenings… I can wholeheartedly recommend-we’ll be back next year.

Fantastic stay. I had in my mind the picture of a perfect location and relaxation, and we had that at Movenpick Hua Hin. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Ducky who checked in on us everyday to make sure we had everything we needed.

This was a lovely hotel. The room was nice and I loved the outdoor shower. The hotel was very busy! I liked everything about our stay except for the check in which was absolutely awful. We had to wait 45 minutes to get a room. It was phenomenally busy and many Thai customers were allocated rooms before us. Sadly, this would deter me from going back to the hotel again.

Hotellet var allt vi hade önskat oss men det finns inget att göra utanför hotellområdet. Från orten Cha Am ner till Hoa Hin går en 4-filig motorväg i flera mil där lyxhotellen ligger på rad från vägen ut till den enormt långa sandstranden men det finns inga restauranger runt omkring utan antingen äter man på hotellet eller så åker man in till Hoa Hin. Hotellet beboddes av främst asiater och eftersom dom skyr solen så såg man väldigt få gäster under dagen för dom kommer ut för att bada när solen har börjat gå ner. Det blir en lyxig känsla men tråkigt. Poolområdet med en egen liten sandstrand var jättebra.

Very nice child-friendly hotel. Rooms are well equipped and other amenities like the gym and spa are very inviting. The hotel has two restaurants where you can eat delicious food. However, some of the waiters could improve their English to make communication easier. The same goes for the reception staff. It is important to know that the hotel is not far from the airport and many airplanes take off and land every day. The pool is large and, depending on the tide, it is also possible to swim in the sea. However, you have to walk down several steps, which are only accessible at low tide. The whole area is impressive with its many plants and spaciousness.

Great property nice people, beach was not useable during our stay but it seems there isn’t much beach anyway. Pools and ponds and landscaping give the property a nice upscale ambience. If you like elevated resorts with not to many rooms and individual big rooms or bungalows this is the place to be. The Breakfast is unmatched, one of the best assorted one you will find. We will definitely repeat . Thank you

Is oud en niet aan deze tijd aangepast, ontbijt slecht, weinig keus. Verder SUV geregeld bij vertrek naar Bangkok, 2 dagen voor vertrek. Bij vertrek geen SUV maar kleine auto. Na veel Aandringen werd uiteindelijk SUV geregeld.

Vi hade en villa med privat pool. Samtliga dörrar har små och stora springor som släpper in både mygg och geckos. Sängarna är verkligen stenhårda så ingen i familjen sov särskilt bra. Kommer du efter 9:30 till poolområdet så är alla solstolar upptagna. På plussidan är samtlig personal väldigt trevliga och tillmötesgående. Maten på Baan dum är gudomlig och hela området har en mysig stämning med gångar och vatten.
