The stay has a secure key access to enter the hotel, provides a safe and secure stay given that the area is not the safest. Hotel is directly across peachtree station which is highly beneficial. Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks, chick fila, firehouse subs around to eat. The staff was really kind and friendly! My stay was great. Room was serviced while we were gone.

The people at the front desk and in the breakfast area were all lovely. They were very helpful and went above and beyond in answering my questions. They always greeted me with a smile when I left in the morning and returned in the evening. The property itself is in a very convenient location downtown. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet at night. The gym was well-equipped. I would recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in downtown Atlanta.

The room i stayed in the bathroom sink was stooped up and drained very slow. The toilet was leaking water onto the floor. My tv did not work, maintenance said there was nothing he could do with the tv it needed to be replaced. Also parking is so far away that you end up using there valet parking and it’s $ 50.00 a night. All that I went through I received nothing discounted.

The hotel was in a nice location. I had issues with my refrigerator which i had to mention twice to the front desk and when they replaced it, it still wasn’t working. Parking is a hassle and very expensive even if you’re stay for 1-2 days. The air conditioner never really got cold as well.

Very disappointed in myself for picking this over priced, super inconvenient, no parking, no amenities, "luxury" hotel. Some staff are good, some not so much. Valet is tird party at $45 a day, parking is not listed in an accurate way if you search on bonvoy, its not free and at 45 a day thats te best it gets in the immediate area - sucks.

We didn't have breakfast so I can't speak to it -- however, the hotel was clean, beautiful, well maintained, secure with keycard access, and we were very impressed. The staff was friendly and professional. The valet service was convenient and well worth it. The location was basically in the heart of downtown.

The staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The lobby was beautifully decorated. The actual room did not look as great as the posted pictures. It was extremely dusty behind the dressers and there was a dead bug in the bathtub so I’m not sure it was cleaned before my arrival. It is an older building, however a few updates would go a long way.

I like this hotel very much I especially like the coziness of it. The rooms are small, but they’re perfect very clean. Everything you need. It’s was ok. My rating was based on the service being great BUT every morning around 5:30am what sounds like a dump truck dumps trash and it last for abt 10 minutes. It’s so loud and I wake up at 6am so it was quite disruptive. And the second night there were random loud noises throughout the night, again disrupting, I slept horrible the second night. Also the gym trash was overflowing, cldnt figure out the water dispenser and the sanitizing wipes were dry.

The room was beautiful with a great view of downtown. The staff was very helpful. The valet went to the parking garage where we originally parked and moved our car to their valet spots. The concierge upgraded our room. Helped us find the venue we were heading to. Gave us walking directions and then called on our way back to make sure we didn't get lost. This could be our best hotel experience.

Last minute family trip, James kept us laughing (something that we needed). Very friendly and professional. He Treated us like family. Stacey was a breath of fresh air. My son has autism, we encountered her during check out, she knew exactly how to respond to him. She didn’t make me feel as if I needed to be defensive. He verbally and VERY clearly stated something that he wanted (“I want Swedish fish!”) she was just as excited as us (hes semi verbal). We conversed about him and she positively reassured me of some things. Again a breath of fresh air!!!! Because of those two employees, my first time staying at Ellis was great!! My family also stated they’d stay again. Thanks again! Not only did we need this trip but we needed the hospitality.

Stacy was so amazing! Her customer service goes above and beyond! All of the front desk staff and housekeeping attendants were so nice. I even had an unexpected change to my travel plans due to weather and they made it so easy for me to extend my stay. I definitely will be back again and again. I highly recommend for those on solo travel for business or leisure.

Extremely clean and well managed hotel. Quiet with no street noise. The front desk is friendly and genuinely welcomes you back each night, asking how was your day. When they saw that I was drenched by a rainstorm they provided towels without me having to ask. The homeless situation in every direction of the hotel is rampant. I was accosted every time I left the hotel. The neighborhood smelled like urine and people literally defecate on the sidewalks. The crazy thing is there’s nice restaurants everywhere in Atlanta, but I did not feel safe, walking the streets. I’m from Baltimore and I know there’s a homeless situation here but at times it felt like the TV show, The Walking Dead .Atlanta is a very cool and culturally mixed city and I will definitely return, but not in this area.

The front desk and valet employees were really genuine and kind. It made for a great experience. I was only in town for a concert, but the location was great. You could walk to the venue and the MARTA easily. I didn’t feel unsafe walking around at night.

Excellent location! Perfect for our trip and activities. Restaurants, entertainment and the main Atlanta venues are a short walk away. Hotel staff was friendly, responsive and helpful. This is an older property but is remodeled nicely and is clean. We will stay here for future visits.
