This was a lovely hotel, our room (1201) had lovely views over the pool and the sea and was also spacious. Even thought it was next to the lift you could not hear it. As it was out of season there was not a lot guests and that was nice. Bar staff were lovely as were the breakfast staff. Reception staff were also very helpful and the cleaners were also very friendly. Hot and cold buffet breakfast was a huge selection and also included cava and wine if you wanted it. The pool was cold and very refreshing, however the indoor pool was great. You can walk to Altea town via the sea walkway or use the tram which is a 10 min walk away. Definitely would recommend and will visit again.

The housekeeping at this place is amazing!!! The room was thouroughly cleaned every single day. The brekfast was great with so many options, the staff is nice. The only minor thing is the enforcement of the pool policies. Apperently, neither the jumping, nor the valleyballi in the pool are allowed, but some guests were consistently doing it without any objections from the pool staff. I guess, some guests are treated differentlly.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, the staff always answered our questions the housekeeping very good. The only problems we had was people smoking on the next balcony so we couldn't keep our terrace door open at times and the sauna area needs some attention.

Deuxième fois dans ce superbe hôtel. Quelques soucis dûs à la propreté de notre chambre que vous avons signalé, l'équipe de nettoyage est passé et nettoyé à nouveau. Le déjeuner est copieux et bon, les viennoiseries ce n'est pas le top mais en Espagne c'est normal et je peux le dire je suis moi même espagnole !

The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean and is very well appointed. Rooms and bathroom are spacious. Everything is clean and well maintained. There were ample pool chairs. It’s about a 10 euro cab ride into the little town of Altea nearby where there are little shops and restaurants. Also near the town is an ocean promenade with amazing restaurants. It’s a great place to experience resort-like atmosphere in Spain.

The stay was really good, super nice hotel, the bar are is lovely and the spa is probably on of the best in Costa Blanca. The only thing I would say was the standard double room, it was a bit dated, but still very clean and comfortable.

Helt ok hotel. Rummet var väldigt basic och av det äldre för att vara 5 stjärnigt. Jag har bott i finare och mer moderna miljöer fast 4 stjärnigt med fler bekvämligheter samt finare handtvål etc. Saknade exempelvis balsam i duschen. Sen ville vi ta med mat upp till rummet från hotellets egna foodtruck men det fick vi inte. Vi fick inte heller äta maten längre bort men ute på hotellets egna anläggning. Hotellfrukosten var generös och hade ett brett utbud. Jag tror absolut man kan njuta av hotellet mer med barn etc- såg barnvänligt ut.

We hebben een fijne 5 dagen gehad in dit hotel. Over het algemeen, heel vriendelijk personeel. Kamers zijn wel wat gedateerd en hebben erg harde bedden. Verouderd meubilair op balkon. Wel schoon. Uitzicht mooi. Tuin goed onderhouden. Ligbedden bij zwembad in drukke periode heel erg dicht op elkaar. Zwembad ijskoud. Weinig keuze lunchkaart. Eerder 4 dan 5 sterren hotel. Maar de vibe is prettig. Dat is belangrijkst ;-)

We have stayed in this hotel 5 times so obviously enjoy the facilities abd location. However this time checkout was very slow and I was in line for 20 minutes. I had to eventually ask a member of staff standing in the background to check me out, not good customer service. Express checkout or better training of staff would help.

We have stayed several times and always enjoyed our stay. Your staff are exceptionally good - efficient, professional, courteous and excellent english skills. Communication before our stay was very helpful and secured our very comfortable transfers to and from the airport. Our room was exactly what we hoped for. We enjoyed breakfast in our room on 2 occasions and found room service to be excellent. Our only concerns were the haphazard local taxi service. After booking with reception and told we were number 2 or 3, others took the taxis saying they were number 2 or 3. This was quite irritating. Also Kitsume restaurant was disappointing and we were given a limited choice of dishes as everything we chose ( 3 diners ) was unavailable. Reception staff are wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. We love the hotel and will certainly be back. Thank you.

Beautiful hotel , pool and gardens are spectacular…. Food excellent , Bedroom very comfortable and well appointed. Only small criticism, lack of staff in bar , and in restaurant, very disorganised…. But this didn’t spoil our enjoyment.

Super mooi hotel, Heerlijke tuin met zwembad, makkelijk aan te rijden vanaf de snel weg, maar wel net te ver om "even naar Altea te lopen". Enige echte nadeel vonden wij dat er geen zandstrand was maar echt keien waar je niet over kon lopen. Maar op het hotel is niets aan te merken.

Leider kein schöner Strand. Hier könnte man die grossen Felsen im Wasser entfernen und das viele Seetank regelmäßig aufsammeln. Sicher könnte das Hotel auf die Gemeinde einwirken oder es als Privatstrand betreiben.

Really nice hotel. Has the ‘solid marble feel’ of a high end hotel. That said I almost gave it a 4 star as the location isn’t great, the beach is just stones, and the hotel can seem almost empty. The spa is amazing but the gym could be improved and larger. Food was very good.

Great staff, lovely resort however disappointed that although advertised as a Spa hotel, you have to pay to use the Spa which is not great. The Japanese restaurant had no sushi available on the whole weekend we were there and the Buffet restaurant in the evening is not great with poor choice. This is not a 5 star hotel.

Most of our stays have been very pleasant, but this last one was not. It is high season, and it felt like the staff was undermanned. There was mostly a long wait at reception, and the reception staff helped us with a restaurant reservation but booked the wrong date. The restaurant, only half full, was at first unwilling to take a drop-in of four — saying they were fully booked. After a while we got a table, and the restaurant never even filled up to half that evening. But the worst part was the room cleaning. For the first four nights we stayed in the newly renovated rooms, and it was a perfect stay. On our last night we had to move to one of the older (but still good) rooms. When we arrived, we found a lot of long hair on the bathroom floor — I mean a lot — and neither the sink nor the toilet had been properly cleaned after the previous guests. There was even a swimsuit still hanging on the balcony chair. It seems the staff was overloaded due to high season, but that's not acceptable for a 5-star hotel. We had two rooms for the family, and even the second room was not up to the cleaning standards we expect and hav experienced before at the same hotel. We still recommend the hotel and hope this was just bad luck — a one-time experience.

Really nice hotel Little bit far away from bars/restaurants approx 2 miles but taxis readily available. We only ate breakfast once, nothing special and I can’t comment on any other restaurants as we didn’t eat at them. Overall though, lovely rooms, clean, pools fantastic and all of the hotel is well maintained with great staff. Would stay again 👍

Faultless hotel in every aspect. Amenities are superb , food of high quality and cleanliness is outstanding. If I have to criticise one thing is that all restaurants are closed by ten oclock pm. ie if arrived after this time there will be no food
