Fantastic short trip to the Tivoli Marina Hotel. Been a few times but first since the refurbishment and it was excellent. Pool and gardens totally transformed to a great new look. Staff friendly and helpful as ever. Great hotel.

Stayed for 4 nights, hotel in a great location. Easy access to beach, marina, shops, restaurants and a short walk into Quarteira. From the moment you enter, the staff are amazing. Large, comfortable rooms, restaurants, bars and general areas all immaculate. Great indoor and outdoor pools, spa and gym contained in beautiful grounds. B&B option includes a superb buffet breakfast, with large variety of foods available. Although located at bottom of marina and hotel was busy, very quiet at night with no noise, which was great.

The breathtaking views off the Marina and Sea are fantastic, very unique feature. The facilities are too many to mention. Caters for all, the fitness area is great with all the equipment with the Spa. Just the queue in the morning for the breakfast area was a downside, had to wait around 10 mins. But once in the range and varirety is out of this world with friendly staff at hand at all times. Will definetly come again and recommend to friends and family.

Excellent hotel but the pool area was closed and notification given to us! They do have another pool area but it’s not staffed so you can’t even get a water! The beach is what sells it! Amazing! BUT as the pool area is closed you have to walk alllll around to get to the beach! Staff were excellent! Like beyond excellent! Food was super too!

I visited in the last week of September and the hotel did not feel at full capacity, which was nice. There were plenty of available sun beds. The cocktails were very well made and the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice. The sun beds on the beach were part of the beach club and they had an extra charge. There was also a beach club pool with an extra charge. We stayed by the main pool which was included and enjoyed it there. We had a room with a marina view and at night there was a fair bit of noise from the loud bars around the marina. The marina views do not get any sun so drying swim clothes took longer than normal. The room was very large, and the housekeeping did a great job. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Tivoli Marina, if I visit again I would pay extra for a sea view room.

Our hotel room view over the sea was amazing. The room was very clean and the bedding was so comfortable. We were able to sit in an outside area for our breakfast which was lovely. The staff brought around cold face towels at the poolside which was so welcomed in the heat. The location of the hotel is fantastic!

I recently stayed at the Tivoli Hotel with my mum for a special occasion and, unfortunately, our experience was quite mixed. On arrival, the reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated how helpful they were when checking us in. When we reached our first room on the 3rd floor, we were disappointed to find stains on the headboard and carpet and marks all over the walls. Considering how much we paid and that it was a special occasion, it was quite disheartening. To their credit, reception were very apologetic and quickly moved us to a room on the 7th floor. The new room was better, though still had a few marks and signs of wear, but we decided to make do. The main issue was the noise. Our room faced the marina, and the pubs and karaoke bars across the road were extremely loud, with music, shouting, and singing going on until around 2 a.m. We barely slept for three nights and ended up catching up on sleep around the pool during the day, which really affected our stay. We mentioned this to reception when checking out, and they said we weren’t the only ones, as several other guests had also complained. On a positive note, breakfast was good, and the hotel’s lobby, pool, and spa areas are lovely and well maintained. The staff were kind and helpful, but the room quality and lack of sleep sadly made the stay less enjoyable than we’d hoped. If you stay here, I’d recommend asking for a room away from the marina side.

Unfortunately, we had just come from the Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia, which was amazing. We were expecting a similar quality and were extremely disappointed. Once you step off the elevator onto the floors, the five stars turns into two and a half stars. The remodel construction is terrible. Unfinished baseboards, some strange form of flooring, cracks, unfinished paint, extremely cheap materials in the rooms and our shower had mold buildup. The rooms are not exactly "soundproof" because you can hear every footstep in the room above and people opening and closing their doors non-stop.

We had a fabulous two night stay in the Tivoli Hotel. From meet & greet to checkout the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and we had a wonderful view over the marina. There was an extensive selection of food for breakfast and the Argo bar made really good cocktails! Would highly recommend this hotel.

I had previously stayed at the Tivoli Carvoeiro and had a great experience. It was wonderful in all aspects! I thought I'd enjoy the Tivoli Vilamoura for a stay closer to the airport on the tail end of my trip. I was so disappointed! Several of the light switches and the reading light in my room didn't work. There were ants in the bathroom. And there were splotches of bird poo on my balcony wall. But the thing that I finally had to complain about was when I went to use the Nespresso machine in my room and the coffee cup still had coffee drip and lip residue on the outside of the cup from a previous guest. It appeared to just have been wiped on the inside. Additionally, the pool waiters and the food were both mediocre too. The reception staff members were friendly and efficient though! In general, I was disappointed in how this Tivoli compared to my previous stay at Carvoeiro. It seems as thought the Vilamoura staff is not being held accountable to high standards and this hurts the Tivoli brand. I hope they do better in the future.

Lovely hotel. Staff were impeccable and very friendly. Only gripe would be service of the rooms. Whilst they made the bed everyday they didn’t clean the bathrooms? Towels changed. You had the option to opt out of but I didn’t so I’m not sure why it wasn’t done?

The reviews for this hotel are mixed. The hotel itself is fabulous, clean and spacious. The rooms are clean and the superior sea view room really was stunning, we were on floor 4. The room was plenty big enough for us (2 adults & 14 year old) there was one huge bed and one extra bed still leaving plenty of room. The bathroom was clean and had a huge shower but no bath (not an issue for us). The pool area was immaculate, we could always get a sun lounger around the pool and used the hotels towels. Previous reviews are correct, the pool bar is a little on the expensive side but your paying for the convenience. The breakfast selection is always my favorite bit of a hotel stay, the Tivoli didn’t disappoint, breakfast was fabulous. We used the cocktail bar overlooking the harbour one night and the views are just stunning. We also sampled the cafe in reception, beautiful cakes which were reasonably priced. The staff could be a bit mixed, mostly polite and helpful, reception for check in and check out was easy and functional. However, the concierge really are the first people you meet at the hotel and they are a credit to the hotel, they were welcoming, warm and friendly. We would definitely visit the hotel again.

Very nice hotel. Staff very pleasant. Easy access to beach and Marina. Breakfast is good. Only negative is that they keep bright balcony light on until 11-30pm and this spoils the experience of watching the Marina and its amenities in the evening. Turn lights out by 9pm please.

The reception check in was cold and unwelcoming. We queried about the possibility of an upgrade with the VIP status of the hotel, but were told we would have to pay for it. The rooms are clean but tired with no lock or closing mechanism on the bathroom door. There is no iron in the room either. I visited guest services to try and find a corkscrew to open some wine in my room. I was told that I could not borrow one but they would send someone up to open my bottle at a charge of €7.50, and the same charge any time I wanted another bottle opening so I went out and bought a corkscrew since they insisted on being unhelpful. The pool area is nice but busy. We had lunch at the pool bar on one occasion but it’s expensive for what it is. €22 plus service charge for a flat champagne. It was sent back and replaced with a warm one. The location of the hotel is good, but that’s about it. I left feedback via Expedia during our stay but no response from the hotel manager. The receptionist was very cold and blunt when we checked out. The bell boys are very friendly and chatty though. We spoke to a few others who were quite underwhelmed with the hotel. We were on the 8th floor sea facing which was a nice view, but we got the noise from the Puro Club all day.

It’s around our 10th visit to this amazing hotel so that probably speaks for itself :-) Truly 5 star experience from checkin to departure. We had a lovely meal at Peppers where they even created a vegetarian main for us and the service was exceptional. Sea view rooms are a delight and the balcony provides a great sun trap with full sun all day on this side. If we had one little gripe it would be the aircon in the winter does not really cool the room but we were given an upgraded room as a result and just kept the balcony door slightly open when required.. Thank you for a wonderful anniversary weekend and for the bottle of fizz - we’ll definitely be back again next year - can’t wait :-)

Resort is excellent: great location, ocean access and views, breakfast, and sauna facilities. But for the rates charged, there were issues: 1) Check-in was delayed. We arrived at the check-in time of 3 pm but our room was not ready. Had to wait 45 minutes to get our room. This resulted in us missing a part of the pre-wedding event we were supposed to attend. 2). The bathroom door was not closing. The magnetic latch was broken. The technicians entered our room multiple times but the latch never got fixed during our four day stay. 3) The room did not have a kettle to boil water. We asked for it multiple times but never got the kettle. The response was always we have your request and are working on it. For the room rates charged, I will not stay there again.

Hotel has good potential but lacks good customer service which was a very big let down. Long wait for check-in. No information about the hotel/amenities given on arrival, just a basic check-in, even though guest relations team was sitting right beside the reception. Dissapointed. House keeping member knocking on our door at 9.30 PM and letting herself in "to leave towels" when we did not request nor need them. She let herself in when she didnt hear an answer. This was very annoying and suspicious. Called reception immediately to complain but was brushed off by "oh there was a delay in housekeeping service today thats why". Seriously? No. I refuse to believe this and refuse to accept it. Not 5* standards.

The hotel has the best site in Vilamoura without a doubt. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops etc. Views of both the harbour and the beach. Breakfast has the usual standard choices however the food is not particularly hot. Peppers restaurant on site has excellent service and food, would recommend a visit although a little pricier. Down side, service at the pool bar area is particularly poor, lacking in remembering your order, no visible communication with there customers to place an order in the first place. No organisation whatsoever. If you have booked a Puro Beach room this comes with free access to both the adult pool area and beach area with better lounge chairs however you need to book your visits to these areas in advance or your turned away. Getting to your seats takes a considerable time to achieve, for some reason looking on a computer to see which chairs is yours seems to be extremely difficult to look up for the hostesses. Your a supposed to have complimentary water and fruit on arrival in both these areas. Good luck getting them before you leave your chairs for the day. Plenty of staff attending however no real work being carried out, lacks organisation also and staff either forget your order or bring it a good hour later. This seriously needs to be addressed. They are more interested in serving the public that has paid a bomb to enter rather than those who have paid in their room rate. A DJ blasts music from 3pm daily at both areas.

A very nice and clean property. Check in was smooth. hotel staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well as shopping. Walking distance to the beach, boardwalk and Quarteira.

This was an amazing stay!!! From the greeting, to the attention given - the staff are a 12 on a scale of 10!!, to the property itself, the view from my room, top notch breakfast buffet and Peppers Steakhouse restaurant. I hated to leave and hope to return. Highly highly recommended. Tivoli got Everything right!

This is not a 5 star hotel, 4 stars at best. We received no mention of our Expedia VIP Access status and the food was very average. You are charged for nespresso pods in your room as well. This hotel is not on a par with other 5 star hotels we have stayed in. Overpriced for what it was.

Beautiful hotel in a great location right next to a great beach. Very clean and lots of hard working, very pleasant staff. Beautiful areas to relax in but costly at 9 euro for a glass of wine in a country where most places charge less than 5 euros.

We loved our stay at Tivoli Marina Vilamoura. Breakfast was very good. Pool is nice. We did not try the adults only one. Puro beach is excellent but sunbeds are expensive specially on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Oregano restaurant by the pool serves outstanding food quality. Chris was excellent and very helpful. The superior room is spacious, very clean and comfortable. Staff very attentive and the person in charge of all the food services was very accommodating to our needs. All staff are very pleasant and eager to please. The spa is small but very nice and included in the Hotel price. Car parking was free and that was a bonus. The Gym is very good. Nice cocktails at the pool and very relaxed atmosphere with excellent waitresses service. In summary, excellent stay and my wife are thinking of coming back again.

A nice stay in a nice hotel, but was expecting much more from a 5-star hotel. Housekeeping were awful, over the course of a 7-night stay they only serviced the room correctly once, despite multiple calls to complain. Breakfast was ok, but staff inattentive and we had to go ask for orange/tea/coffee which was not available self-service. On a better note, the Glee cake bar is outstanding, by far the best part of the hotel.

A great experience except when checking out. I had paid my bill the evening before and when leaving the keys back on the next morning was made to feel like I was trying to escape without paying by the nighttime reception person I had to find my payment details from evening before to prove payment. Surely this should have been noted on the computer. It left a very poor impression on what had been an excellent trip

Lisa Bradley 1/5 just now on Google DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! My Rolex was stolen off the bedside locker yesterday between 12-4pm. When I reported it the manager working she told me she would contact lost & found and housekeeping. When I returned 3 hours later she had finished her shift and there was no manager on duty to update me. On hearing there was not even a manager on duty we felt so uneasy and then changed our flights and checked out of the hotel at 3am. I have called multiple times to speak to a manager but nobody in this hotel cares enough to call me back and I still have not received an update! Customer service is absolutely terrible in all areas of this hotel, extremely rude & young staff working here! This is at best a 3 star property. I now have found other reviews on here of people having handbags stolen and that was 4 years ago so clearly it is an ongoing thing the hotel overlooks. I should of done my homework first

Mum fell on the stairs and broke a bone in her foot.Members of staff commented that it had happened before,someone falling,there was no edging marking for where the steps started.You need to rectify this.The staff were very helpful with us .Overall we really enjoyed our stay.Thank you
