The hotel is located right in front of the port, where you can leave the car (hotel guests pay 10€ per day at the moment) and enjoy Volos on foot. All the small details in the room made it perfect for a single traveler or a couple. The space was small, but absolutely enough for a city trip. The amenities were super cute and there was a variety of tea in the room. The breakfast was very delicious. I am not sure if there were any or many vegan options, luckily that wasn't an issue for me.

I expected a basic, functional hotel by the port, but Aegli was a pleasant surprise. Excellent value for the rate. Hotel was squeaky clean, a/c was cold, and there were complimentary drinks in the mini fridge. Full buffet breakfast with proper coffee bar was included. I would definitely return.

The room was large and clean. The Receptionists were very friendly. The hotel is exactly outside the port's parking that also contains a fast charger for EVs. Hotel is collaborating with the Parking at less thN half cost. There are also 3 free hotel parking spots on the road and another 3 at a low cost using the city's parking app. Hotel also offered 3 bottles of water, carnonated lemonade and 1 non-carbonated orange juice (refreshments) in the minibar for free.

So happy to have stayed at the historic Aeglis- Pallas Hotel and will be sure to book again when in Volos. Convenient location, central to the port, within walking distance to shopping, cafes, restaurants, the port, marina, and main square. Parking across the street was for a reasonable fee.The property was stylishly modern and inviting throughout with an overall aesthetically appealing design. The staff were friendly, professional and very accommodating. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of Greek, continental and American breakfast food items. The room was impeccably clean with cool, comfortable bed linens in the hot summer months. The high ceilings, thick walls and floor to ceiling blackout curtains ensured a quiet night’s rest even though the balcony faced the busy thoroughfare below. We spent one night waiting for our ferry to Skiathos since it is conveniently placed close to the port. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They also provided advice on where to park our vehicle. The room was very clean and the hotel had plenty of available towels. The bed was soft and comfortable with soft pillows and a thin blanket. Our room was provided with air conditioning,slippers and a cable TV. The room also had WiFi, a hairdryer and a kettle with mugs. For breakfast we had a selection of English and continental along with different types of coffee and pasties, we were spoiled for choice. We highly recommend and will stay again.

Great service and well equipped rooms. Our room had a great balcony which added tremendous value to our stay. Hotel is conveniently located across the street from the port from where most boats to the islands leave. This is why I highly recommend it for people catching a boat to the Sporades. Also available and recommended the breakfast buffet.

Very friendly staff. Very clean rooms, however we paid for upgraded rooms that were suppose to be city view or water view, what we got was view to a busy noisy ugly buildings street! So basically this hotel has three sides of exterior view (water view, a single big building view or ugly noisy city buildings view). Rooms as well weren’t as in the pictures or the sizes. Very big disappointment to pay for upgraded rooms but not get them. As well, one room has a smell to it if the AC wasn’t turned on. Paid parking is available at the front port for 14euros a day. Nobody will help you with your luggage, you’re on your own for that part. Great part of the town! Everything is walkable.

The morning breakfast was amazing. All their staff was amazing 💯 We had a great conversation with the two Christina’s one evening!! We will be definitely stay there again. The room was large and clean. The Receptionists were very friendly. The hotel is exactly outside the port's parking that also contains a fast charger for EVs. Hotel is collaborating with the Parking at less thN half cost. There are also 3 free hotel parking spots on the road and another 3 at a low cost using the city's parking app. Hotel also offered 3 bottles of water, carnonated lemonade and 1 non-carbonated orange juice (refreshments) in the minibar for free.

Convenient location, central to the port, within walking distance to shopping, cafes, restaurants, the port, marina, and main square. I expected a basic, functional hotel by the port, but Aegli was a pleasant surprise. Excellent value for the rate. Hotel was squeaky clean, a/c was cold, and there were complimentary drinks in the mini fridge. Full buffet breakfast with proper coffee bar was included. I would definitely return.

We spent one night waiting for our ferry to Skiathos since it is conveniently placed close to the port. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They also provided advice on where to park our vehicle. The room was very clean and the hotel had plenty of available towels. The bed was soft and comfortable with soft pillows and a thin blanket. Our room was provided with air conditioning,slippers and a cable TV. The room also had WiFi, a hairdryer and a kettle with mugs. For breakfast we had a selection of English and continental along with different types of coffee and pasties, we were spoiled for choice. We highly recommend and will stay again.

Stayed 3 times at The Aegli now whilst sailing out of Volos. Lovely big light filled rooms with huge comfortable beds. Complimentary water and pop in the fridge is a nice touch on a hot day Staff have always been polite and helpful. Plenty of choice at breakfast time with fresh food. Highly recommended
