We absolutely love staying here! The pool could use a good cleaning though, there is mold growin around the top of the pool tiles and slide. Some of the staff were very helpful, while a couple were obviously not happy being at work and were rude. All that being said, we still LOVE to stay here, and will continue to stay here.

This hotel is very kids and pet friendly, $0 pet fee!! It has a pool and a slide, some arcade games for kids. I got a 3 beds room, it was spacious and clean. Highlights of the breakfast: boiled eggs, a good variety of tea and sauces, hot chocolate and whip cream!

We love this place and we always come back and stay here when we visit Moab. It’s great for our large family. The pool and slide are always fun. The pool can get crowded at times. Our visits are in July. Clean room, great cleaning service. Some people were littering in the parking lot. Breakfast options were great. -would like if eggs could not only be boiled. Walking along the main road and being close to the restaurants and shops was another highlight and having that option being right there is fantastic.

The room and place was awesome! They had bunk beds for my kids, a warm pool so they could swim in winter and had an amazing breakfast. This place was great and if I ever go to Moab again, we are staying here!!

This motel is easy to get to, plentiful parking, you can walk to so many places. Conveniently located, park at hotel and walk, no need to search for parking. Pool was heated and usable even though it was only in the 50s. Hotel room had 3 queen beds, that is hard to find! Kids loved the free game room.

I liked the location & the bathroom set up with the sink outside of the bathroom. that helped with our large group.I also liked the price and the staff ! I didn't like the size of the pool. very small for the size of the hotel. Room was small for the size of our group of 7.

It’s a fun place for families with small children. The pool is much smaller than pictured online. It does have a water slide for the kids; there’s a small Arkade room off the breakfast area. The breakfast was mostly carbs with a big pot of pasty oatmeal, waffles, cereal, prepackaged sandwiches and some yogurt. On Sunday, we were offered hard boiled eggs peeled, encased in plastic. The rooms appeared clean, until I had to wipe up a spill and realized that the floor was black with dirt, even after wiping over the same spot 3x. There was little to no water pressure in the commode. Our hot water facet in the sink didn’t turn off, but maintenance fixed that within 10 minutes. The refrigerator stopped working. These might have been isolated incidents. The overall decor was retro and kind of cute. The beds were comfortable. The staff was amiable. When returning to this area, I will try other accommodations.

The staff at check in and Breakfast were wonderful. The vibe there is very cool, retro. Cleanliness: I spilled some water on the floor, wiped it up with a towel and the towel was black with filth from the floor. Had a 2 queens room one of the beds had blood stains on the sheets. The refrigerator leaked and (I’m traveling across country right now so had a lot of fruits and veggies to snack on in my cooler) And all my veggies and fruits were frozen in the morning and I had to throw them away, freezing fresh veggies and fruits ruins them. So all that money went right in the trash too. Housekeeping just busted into my room at 9am, I had not checked out and didn’t even hear them knock, it almost sent me into a panic attack. Breakfast: all cold processed foods.

Clean room, great Halloween holiday atmosphere with awesome decorations, the pool was super family friendly and clean! I only wish they had swept or vacuum when they came to clean the room as we had some dirt and crumbs that could have been picked up but they took out the trash and restocked towels. Overall super happy with our stay!

The only good thing about this hotel was the location. Within walking distance to restaurants. The beds were fairly comfortable. Some complained about the road noise, but our AC drowned out any road noise because it was so loud. Didn't realize how dirty the fake wood floors were until I walked around in white socks and they were black from all the dirt. Would not recommend this hotel when there are plenty of others in the same area.

Check in was easy and finding the room was a breeze. I was in a first floor unit so heard all the moving going on upstairs. Walls and windows are thin so there is a lot of noise pollution, especially with the main road being just out front. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities you’d need. Good for my one night stay.

Facility was clean and great location. Room was nice. Some bath fixtures a bit retro but well maintained. Our one complaint was that the noise from outside was intense. The exterior wall is super thin. You will hear anything happening outside. We did not hear anything from adjoining rooms though.

The Expedition Lodge is a great little motel very conveniently located in Moab. We had a room with a Queen bed and Queen bunk beds. The facilities were great, nicely styled. The staff were helpful and the kids really enjoyed the pool.

This is an older style motel but it’s great for families. The game room, fun pool, and hot tub were enjoyable! The queen over queen bunk bed was perfect for our family! Our kids said it was the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at!

This was little gem in Moab. Right in town and walkable to some great coffee shops and restaurants. The breakfast had boiled eggs, waffles, jimmy deans breakfast sandwiches, pastries, fruit, yogurt...enough options to give you energy for the parks. Christy at the front desk gave us EXCELLENT tips on Canyonlands and Arches and Dead Horse SP. We ended up booking a second night and extending our stay. We will be back!

Property was recently renovated and in great shape. On the edge of downtown Moab so good for shopping/dining, but easy to get out of town to go to the parks. Unfortunately, while the staff was very friendly, they were slow to help. We even saw one employee hugging/kissing their girlfriend in the parking lot. Towels were taken but not replaced, and we ran out of toilet paper. However, the facility itself was very cute and clean!

The hotel was over booked and called the day before and were told we were moved to the Hampton Inn. Very disappointed. I had it booked for 6 months. Looks like they had a big group staying there and I got bumped. Hampton inn location not as good. They offered no compensation for the mistake and no apology.

Lovely little motel right in the middle of downtown where all the shops and restaurants are. Very catchy decor and wonderful breakfast. Nothing but good things to say about this place. Too bad we didn't have a chance to check out the pool - it also looked enjoyable. You should stay here!

Expedition Lodge was an okay stay. The front desk staff was hard to find, it answered all questions once they were found. The breakfast was good, but for a place near a park that you need to enter early, breakfast should start earlier than 7am. We were only able to use it once. The pool looked nice, but we didn’t use it. The room was fine, But the towels and bedspread were dirty.

Great location, right on Main St. and easy walking to lots of shopping and restaurants. Provided breakfast was good. A bit more variety and "hot" eggs would have been great. Room overlooked Main St. and the parking area. Noisy with traffic (especially transport trucks and ATV\'s etc.) going by and early emptying of garbage bins. Loved the extensive Halloween decorations!
