Landhotel Gut Wildberg mit Badeteich und großem Garten

We booked Landhotel Gut Wildberg because it advertised a spa with saunas, wellness treatments, a swimming pool, and a children's pool. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. After a 6-hour drive, the last 3 km were on broken roads with a 30 km/h limit. The hotel looked more like an old barn than a wellness hotel. Check-in was rushed, with little information. Our room was in a barn-like building with narrow stairs and no elevator. When we asked about the sauna, reception was empty. After ringing the bell, a waiter came from the restaurant, chuckled at our question in a disrespectful way, and told us the sauna only opens one day a week. This was never mentioned when booking. The pool contained large fish and flies, and there was no children's pool despite it being advertised. The next morning we asked to leave early because the hotel did not match its description. Reception first wanted us to pay for the entire stay, but the manager apologized, acknowledged the misunderstanding, and agreed we only pay for the one night we stayed. He was the only positive part of our visit. When we checked out at around 09:00, the entire building had lost power. The advertising is misleading, several promised facilities were unavailable, and parts of the staff need much better customer service. One of the most disappointing hotel stays I have experienced.

I booked this hotel during the race of Motogp even if it is 45 minutes from the circuit, it is really good to stay here to relax. Nice restaurant, Nice extra service like a small lake to swin and children park Really suggested

I think we happened upon the best place to stay in all of Germany. This place was a true gem.
