We really enjoyed our stay here with our 2 year old shepherd mix. We wanted dog friendly hotel and we got exactly that. The property is beautiful with lots of space and grass for your furry friends to run around. We were able to throw the ball around with our dog and get a lot of his energy out. I love that the rooms are hard wood flooring as I am not a fan of carpet in hotels. The rooms were very spacious and extremely clean. All of the staff from the front desk to housekeeping were extremely sweet and friendly and were so welcoming to our pup. This hotel is located just 20 minutes away from the cute town of Solvang and was very easy to get to. Definitely recommend staying here

The Village INN is one of the best "vibrant" hotel I've been too. When I know we are going to Lompoc to visit family I always book here. The suites are nice!!! Pool is heated all year and jacuzzi nice amd steamy. It is wonderful at night. Dark enough to see the stars with really chilled music that is played in the courtyard are. The restraunt Daves is also so amazing. I love the staff. They seem to have the same staff since it opened. I like that. Employees are so happy. I felt like they love their jobs ❤️

Love this place, perfect if you have a dog with you. Leave out the patio directly into the grass area. Great layout and the vibe is amazing here.

We loved The Village Inn- it was completely remodeled and is immaculate and comfortable. The beds have plenty of pillows and an extra throw blanket. We loved the sparkling pool and onsite restaurant- we did breakfast and dinner and it was fantastic. The property vibe is relaxing and quiet. 10/10, thank you Village Inn!

The staff at the hotel as well as the bar and restaurant were awesome! The only negative to the entire stay was the floor in the room was filthy. We had to wear shoes the entire time because our feet turned black just from walking across the room. Otherwise it was all very clean and the amenities are excellent.

We were greeted warmly by the desk staff and when I told him that I had equipment to bring in, he relocated me to the ground floor. This was greatly appreciated! We were very impressed with the room size and decor. Would definitely return!

Great hotel that recently had a grand opening. Everything is new, super clean and thoughtfully designed. Each room has a patio with nice outdoor furniture and the pool and hot tub is very nice. The on-site restaurant, Dave’s Place is also really good. I would love to stay here again.

When we arrived we were welcomed by a very nice desk attendant who greeted us with a small gift. When we got to our room we were very impressed with its spotless appearance and generous size. The bed was very comfortable. There was a lovely view of the well kept grounds. All of the staff we encountered during our stay were very helpful. We were only here for one night on the way home from a stay on the central coast, but we both wished our stay here at this lovely property was longer. Next time we will definitely take a swim in the pool.

The Village Inn has a very retro feel, but has recently been renovated and everything is clean and modern. The spacious grounds have more the feeling of a resort than a typical hotel or motel. Instead of going to Dave's Place for breakfast, we bought cinnamon rolls and muffins at the front desk and enjoyed them on our patio with the free coffee that was served in the lobby. The location is very convenient just off Rt 1 just north of Lompoc. The only disappointment was the dinner we ordered at Dave's Place. We weren't all that hungry, so we ordered the happy hour nachos, but the chips were a bit too thin to hold the toppings, and the toppings were way too saucy. We also ordered the Italian Chopped Salad, but it had too much dressing on it which made it soggy as well. We also ordered the clam chowder, but that was good. We definitely want to go back to Village Inn again and revisit Dave's Place, but this time order off the dinner menu. The food we saw being delivered to other tables looked good. BTW, corkage is $20 if you want to bring your own wine. I have a feeling that the Village Inn will be our go-to hotel from now on when we are up in the area.

This was a great experience. The pool and hit tub were amazing. Decor was stylish and staff were super nice. The only downfall was that we could hear our neighbors conversation clearly coming through the air vent.

This property is amazingly renovated and new. They did a beautiful job. Comfortable, modern and clean. It’s also sooooo quiet. The attached restaurant is good food and reasonably priced. This is the best hotel in the Lompoc area.

The room was great.... the staff was INCREDIBLE!! We were there for a launch and they got us all the updated info and were both just wonderful.... Paige was on before 11 and I forgot the woman's name that was on all night - but they both were fabulous! the restaurant is a real bonus... great food - again lovely staff. Never imagined ever being in Lompoc - but this was a real surprise and gem!! If ever in this area again would definitely stay!! thank you...

Our trip was amazing up untill check out day, we stayed here for almost a month, so in that time we collected some things so we knew that it was going to take a minute to get is out of the room. So we started the day before come check out day I called to get a late check out ( I thought like 3 or something like that but it was a hour from regular time 11) worked as hard as we could to get it done but we had a bunch of stuff and dogs. Keep the front informed. Out last couple loads is where it ruined it for me the general manager came knocking on the door like he was the f-ing police when I went to the door he was all kinds of rude. Looking a his watch huffing telling me " I need a time frame" I told him we were working as hard as we could to get out so they could have the room back he told me "30 more minutes" I knew that was not going to happen because we still had at least 2 or 3 loads to go. We were working with a little car and nothing else. So it would fill up quickly. So we ran 1 more load and went back. Filled up the car with as much as it would take and the husband ran that load while I stayed with the dogs. Once again knock knock like the police. It was him I profusely apologized for taking so long but we were there for a month. Well he didn't even say anything looked at his watch and walked away. That's not customer service, we keep them informed and moved as quickly as we could. We paid very good money to be there and right at the end treated like crap.

The hotel was a total 10 from the time we arrived to the time we almost left. We appreciate the late checkout. However, that went from a perfect 10 to a quick 8.5; being that we checked in after midnight, I didn’t expect for the housekeepers to be yelling across the hallways LOUDLY! With vacuum on, at 0830a, for early risers that is ok but for us who pay the same and are on a mini vacay who are still catch up on some zzz’s can be a total nightmare. Please stop yelling across the hallways! We are paying to sleep there. Would you like to pay a hotel somewhere only to be woken up by loud vacuums and yelling across hallways!? Please be considerate of others driving to your location from far away. Thank you.

Hotel is new and immaculate. It has beautiful grounds and pool area, making it feel like a high-end resort. It is only about a 10 minute drive from downtown Lompoc, where there are many dining options. But you don’t have to go offsite, as there is a very nice restaurant and bar at the hotel. The distance from downtown is a plus. We were about to get a hotel in downtown, but saw a number of homeless people in the area and had concerns about safety.

The property is beautiful with lots of space and grass for your furry friends to run around. We were able to throw the ball around with our dog and get a lot of his energy out. I love that the rooms are hard wood flooring as I am not a fan of carpet in hotels. The rooms were very spacious and extremely clean. All of the staff from the front desk to housekeeping were extremely sweet and friendly and were so welcoming to our pup. This hotel is located just 20 minutes away from the cute town of Solvang and was very easy to get to. Definitely recommend staying here

The room was great.... the staff was INCREDIBLE!! We were there for a launch and they got us all the updated info and were both just wonderful.... Paige was on before 11 and I forgot the woman's name that was on all night - but they both were fabulous! the restaurant is a real bonus... great food - again lovely staff. Never imagined ever being in Lompoc - but this was a real surprise and gem!! If ever in this area again would definitely stay!! thank you...

The Village Inn has a very retro feel, but has recently been renovated and everything is clean and modern. The spacious grounds have more the feeling of a resort than a typical hotel or motel. Instead of going to Dave's Place for breakfast, we bought cinnamon rolls and muffins at the front desk and enjoyed them on our patio with the free coffee that was served in the lobby. The location is very convenient just off Rt 1 just north of Lompoc. The only disappointment was the dinner we ordered at Dave's Place. We weren't all that hungry, so we ordered the happy hour nachos, but the chips were a bit too thin to hold the toppings, and the toppings were way too saucy. We also ordered the Italian Chopped Salad, but it had too much dressing on it which made it soggy as well. We also ordered the clam chowder, but that was good. We definitely want to go back to Village Inn again and revisit Dave's Place, but this time order off the dinner menu. The food we saw being delivered to other tables looked good. BTW, corkage is $20 if you want to bring your own wine. I have a feeling that the Village Inn will be our go-to hotel from now on when we are up in the area.

Great hotel that recently had a grand opening. Everything is new, super clean and thoughtfully designed. Each room has a patio with nice outdoor furniture and the pool and hot tub is very nice. The on-site restaurant, Dave’s Place is also really good. I would love to stay here again.

We loved The Village Inn- it was completely remodeled and is immaculate and comfortable. The beds have plenty of pillows and an extra throw blanket. We loved the sparkling pool and onsite restaurant- we did breakfast and dinner and it was fantastic. The property vibe is relaxing and quiet. 10/10, thank you Village Inn!

Wonderful retro vibe! Village Inn is an exceptional old school motor lodge with modern upgrades. Mid-Century Modern decor accents the inn. The rooms are a good size, great mattress, clean, bright restroom and area enough for suitcases not being in the way. Each room has a patio that faces the grounds and pool. The pool is large with a jacuzzi. Restaurant and bar offered a variety menu and delicious drinks. Staff is helpful and cheerful! You can also purchase bags of flavored pretzels, my fav, that are incredible. Village Inn is a fun destination all on its own.
