This was a night stop for a long journey. Most importantly, the hotel accepts dogs and parking is included. The staff welcome was great and offered a complementary drink from the bar (cava, thank you). The grounds around the hotel (pool, garden, and outdoor bar) are we well maintained and look very nice. The public rooms around the hotel are also in good condition. The room itself was a decent size, with air-conditioning, a decent sized balcony, and we had a great view of the sea and the promenade. The decor was a little bit in the corners and above the air-conditioning unit, and the bathroom could probably benefit from a face-lift (eg. tiling around the shower). That said, the beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet; we got a good night's sleep. The hotel is in a great location. A 15-minute walk to the centre of town. It's close enough to lots of restaurants and bars, but far enough away not to be disturbed by any noise. We even saw a British TV & Radio celebrity at the same restaurant. Would we recommend the hotel? Definitely. Would we stay again? Yes, if we come this way again. We liked Sitges.

This is a lovely hotel which is about as near to the sea as possible. Our room had a warm and sunny balcony (in January) and a perfect view out to sea. Very comfortable and relaxed hotel. Liked the addition of bath robes. Only had breakfast there but was a great selection of good quality food. It’s about a 10 minute walk into the main part of town. Nice and quiet with ample free on-site parking. Very dog friendly.

Restauranten på hotellet var ikke åbne, så vi måtte gå ind til byen for at få noget at spise. Poolen var heller ikke åbne . Noget slidt hotel og imens vi var der blev låsen skifte til et nyt nøgle kort system og 4 gang kunne vi ikke komme ind på vores værelse. Men rigtig god morgenmad.

Have stayed in this hotel a few times. The staff are friendly and obliging, the rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Free car parking is a bonus and the hotel is pet friendly. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Sitges, but the terrain is flat and very walking friendly. During the summer months there is a free shuttle train to and from the centre at regular intervals

Fint läge nära stranden men rummet lite slitet med flagnande färg i duschen och lite avloppsstank emellanåt. Sängarna jättesköna. Jättefint poolområde med bar. Lite långt från centrum men bra cyklar fanns att låna grattis. Stranden jättefin 100 meter bort. Personalen trevlig och vi är jättenöjda.

The little hotel with everything, free parking,great AC, beach across the road, expansive sea view from room, bikes, pretty pool area with bar! Not much else one needs except maybe access to ice! Staff are very friendly and helpful. I would also recommend hotel offer some items for beach use especially beach chairs. At the moment they have nothing. But I would highly recommend this hotel

We enjoyed our stay at Subur Maritim. The location on the beach is fabulous, with an enjoyable walk to the old town and its shopping and restaurants. The staff members in all roles were helpful and pleasant. There is no restaurant for evening meals but Sitges has many attractive alternatives. The breakfast is fine and pffers a wide range of foods. The hot buffet could do with an update, otherwise it is good. Fabulous view from our room over the pool, garden and beach and sea. The hotel is clean and tidy though may need a refresh soon. Only criticism would be the beds, which are rock hard. Overall, an enjoyable stay for 2 nights and recommended

The bedroom was kept immaculate by the cleaners. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with bacon, sausage, fried and scrambled egg, toast, cereal, pastries, yoghurts, coffee and fruit juices. The swimming pool and its bar were closed during my stay, I think because I was slightly too early for peak season. However, the location is ideal for the beach and coast and is a 20-ish minute walk from where most of the hustle and bustle is, so it’s quiet but still nicely situated. Good value.

The Wi-Fi in the rooms was terrible. We complained several times but they didn’t fix it. The wedding that they had on site was a huge disturbance to the guest with noise until 1 PM and then the staff cleaning up all the tables until 230. The dining room was filthy the next day. And the staff couldn’t care less. We paid for an upgraded room and it was a huge waste of money.

Für ein 4 Stern Hotel recht unsauber, auch an der Bar keine Auswahl, kein Proseco oder Aperospritz beim Weiss Wein gab es nur eine angefangene Flasche dan war schluss mit Weisswein. Was wirchlich top ist, ist das Frustück !

Excelente ubicación en primera línea de mar en pleno paseo marítimo de Sitges. El personal del hotel ha sido súper amable. Nos han recibido con 2 copas de cava de bienvenida. La habitación estaba impecable de limpieza, la cama grandísima y de muy buena calidad, buen colchón y buena lencería y sábanas. Hemos descansado fenomenal. Cada habitación tiene su propio aire acondicionado/calefacción que funciona a la perfección, se ve que los han instalado hace poco pues van como nuevos. Hemos tenido una excelente experiencia en nuestra estancia. Habitaciones e instalaciones limpias y agradables. Sólo diría que ya a las habitaciones les toca una pequeña modernización pues muestran desgaste en algunos muebles que no combinan entre ellos o están un poco gastados. De resto todo inmejorable! Ubicación 5 estrellas. El hotel tiene un jardín y piscina que no usamos aunque tuvimos unos días preciosos y calientes para ser invierno. Perfecta ubicación para moverse a pie por todo Sitges. Repetiremos y lo recomendamos!

Great hotel in a fantastic position. Walkable to everything and just across the road from the beach. Staff super helpful. Everything very clean. Also totally,loved Marga the fabulous yoga teacher. Not sure why some people gave it less than good reviews - we absolutely loved it!

The property was very good although a little tired in places. Some damage to the walls and wood work around the room. Very clean room Staff were excellent and helpful. Pool area was very clean and tidy.

Excellent location across from the beach and boardwalk. Old hotel, sink faucets so close to the bowl you can barely get your hands under them. No mat for the tub/shower which was quite slippery.

Disappointing. Room was old & tatty & I moved from one toom to another & it was just as bad. Obviously they spent money on the reception & hall areas which were lovey but I expected a much nicer room for my 180e a night stay. Pros: + big bedroom & bathroom + clean + quiet + great breakfast buffet + good location, beach across the road, 15/20min walk into town. Cons: - the room looked like it hadn't been touched in 20 years - bathroom floor tiles need renewing, sealent round the bath needs renewing, bathroom door wouldn’t shut & it got stuck a few time where I needed to get my shoulder to it! The shower needs moving over the bath as it's placed in a totally difficult spot! ( room 312). Walls in the bedroom need repainting.

A really lovely hotel but just needs a bit of an upgrade......wouldnt stop me going back though. Rooms airy, spacious & spotless. Staff all very nice. After a major problem.at check in, the staff were polite & patient and it was sorted the following morning. The hotel is in a beautiful location right on sea front, but as its surrounded by a residential area, there is not one cafe, shop or kiosk - you have to walk 20 minutes into the beautiful Sitges for any of that, so a bit inconvenient. There is a bus every half hour or so which takes you to the station at the 'back' of the town, so again a long, but beautiful walk down through the town.

The internal areas of the property is very dated and shabby, specially the bedroom with cracked floor tiles and wall paper pealing off. We were not expecting plastic mugs at the coffee station, no teaspoons and not enough coffee saches for two. Certainly not 4 star! On the upside, the pool area was absolutely lovely.

Checked in around 10 pm. Room had a bit of a musty smell. Went onto and come back about 3 am . The room smelt to bad. I had to go down to reception at 3 am to see what could be done . It turned out it was the drain as soon as water went down the awful smell come back. Hotel reception come and put some spray down sink and shower . That helped. Next morning as I was going out I told reception again. He said he would look in to it

I was ignored on arrival the guy was doing paperwork. Finally acknowledged me. Having just arrived from Mexico where the standard of service was top class I wasn’t expecting the same but this was poor. Also the door slamming at 1.30am put me off returning again.

This little hotel was perfect for my stay, right on the seafront with a beautiful view & only a short 10 minute walk from all the restaurants & shops. The staff were the best bit out of the lot as they were extremely friendly, helpful & always smiling. 10/10 would recommend highly

This is a lovely hotel which is about as near to the sea as possible. Our room had a warm and sunny balcony (in January) and a perfect view out to sea. Very comfortable and relaxed hotel. Liked the addition of bath robes. Only had breakfast there but was a great selection of good quality food. It’s about a 10 minute walk into the main part of town. Nice and quiet with ample free on-site parking. Very dog friendly.

Lovely place, nice staff, right on the beach front. Though a little bit of a walk into the main part of Sitges, the walk is along a coastline with the waves lapping onto the shore as you stroll. Beds comfortable and great value for money - would stay again. A tip for those travelling in from the airport - there are buses that run from Terminal 1 and drop you off near the hotel. If you're coming into Terminal 2, there's a free shuttle bus to Terminal 1. There is a train from the airport to El Prat where you can can the southbound train to Sitges - this took me two hours because of problems of the line to El Prat. Wish I'd got the bus!

Wonderful hotel with a very quirky and distinct styling. Staff were very helpful and rooms were comfortably furnished. We had a sea view room on the top floor with a view up the promenade. It is a dog friendly hotel but all the four legged guests were well behaved. The pool has plenty of chairs and loungers and the bar was well stocked with a lovely atmosphere. It is a 20 minute walk to the middle of town but its a lovely walk to enjoy the many sections of beaches and lovely properties along the front. There is a regular tourist bus that takes it you up and down the front for a 4 euro return fare and runs every 30 mins and stops just outside the hotel. Breakfast had a nice range of the usual continental options. Did not have a meal in the hotel so cannot comment on the food. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Subur Maritim. The location on the beach is fabulous, with an enjoyable walk to the old town and its shopping and restaurants. The staff members in all roles were helpful and pleasant. There is no restaurant for evening meals but Sitges has many attractive alternatives. The breakfast is fine and pffers a wide range of foods. The hot buffet could do with an update, otherwise it is good. Fabulous view from our room over the pool, garden and beach and sea. The hotel is clean and tidy though may need a refresh soon. Only criticism would be the beds, which are rock hard. Overall, an enjoyable stay for 2 nights and recommended

We’ve been at this hotel for a few years and the location is superb. However, not sure where the 4 stars are accurate as the hotel look and feel very run down / old conditions. Its in need of renovation and a modern touch. The breakfast is sparse, only one old coffee machine and few other choices in a canteen like room. The room and corridors are in need of a facelift with a much modern shower / bathroom.

The entire staff was so nice and the hotel is beautiful and is in a nice residential neighborhood, right on the beach! About a 12 minute walk to the restaurants and shopping. It is very peaceful and so much fun to walk up and down the boardwalk any time of day. The breakfast spread was awesome and delicious!! Can’t say one thing negative! I had the best three nights there, slept like a baby and cried like a baby when it was time to leave!

The bedroom was kept immaculate by the cleaners. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with bacon, sausage, fried and scrambled egg, toast, cereal, pastries, yoghurts, coffee and fruit juices. The swimming pool and its bar were closed during my stay, I think because I was slightly too early for peak season. However, the location is ideal for the beach and coast and is a 20-ish minute walk from where most of the hustle and bustle is, so it’s quiet but still nicely situated. Good value.

I can’t comment on the hotel itself as unfortunately we’re were unable to go due to a bereavement. However i would like to say how very kind, helpful and accommodating the staff were when i contacted them at the eleventh hour to say we wouldn’t be checking in. Even though it was made under a non refundable booking they very kindly refunded us and wished us well. I will definitely be booking this hotel again when we are once again able to travel.

Not a great hotel. Lacking care and attention Staff generally disinterested. The check in was good as the daytime receptionist is extremely helpful, which raised the star rating for staff Manager never there and seemed disinterested in customer experience. Poor value for money.

Also be aware if on side of hotel next to house next door they have dogs which bark at various intervals particularly early morning.
