A gem of a hotel. Staff, food, amenity all very good. At first arrival the location feels a bit 'residential' but you quickly realise beaches, coves, restaurants, bars are all within easy reach, as is the Marina at Portal Nous which is stunning. To add to the ease on the eye, the gold course wraps itself around the hotel grounds. Not cheap but if you want to treat yourself, well worth considering.

Got it - here is the final polished version in English: > Lindner by Hyatt — really disappointed with the service. > At check-in, they placed our kids, who are under 17, in a completely separate building. No connecting room, not even on the same floor. > They upgraded us to the African Suite. Don't pay extra for it — the air conditioning didn't work, the room had very poor lighting, two lights weren't working, and the bathroom was left unclean. > Breakfast was okay, but not accommodating for vegetarians. No separate options like eggs, and all the meat was cooked on the same grill. > The staff were very rude and impolite. We asked for just one hour late check-out and got a straight no. They wouldn't even allow us to keep one room for a later check-out. > I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel seems to be a hub for and catering to German travellers. We arrived on a weekend and the hotel felt like it was overbooked! The restaurant is understaffed, and the wait staff there need better customer service training. Being busy and telling your customers politely to wait works … ignoring them for 20 minutes and not looking at them is extremely rude! We left and did not eat at the hotel pool bar the rest of our trip. There are much better and cheaper options just 5 minutes of a drive away. The one evening we came back from a sailing trip late and called for room service they said their machine didn’t work and to call them back after 20 minutes! With 2 hungry kids at 10:30pm, this doesn’t work. Thankfully, Uber Eats came to the rescue. Regarding our room, we had booked a family suite, and the room felt old, needing upgrades. On one of the hottest days the AC did not work. And the hotel staff did nothing to help. The pool is good, and is their one saving grace, but besides that the rest of the property could do with an upgrade. This is our 5th hotel on this Spain/ Portugal trip, and was the worst one- especially for the price we paid. Won’t be coming back here again and wouldn’t recommend the property go international travelers with kids.
