I had to be switched to 3 different rooms, and my best choice out of those rooms was to have a dead pigeon and 3 live pigeons a foot away from my window surrounding it, wondering why it stopped moving. The water was luke warm, so not hot showers or baths. The hot tub was also luke warm. The staff said they "forgot" to turn on the heat that day, but it never got better in the days. One of the rooms, had an unmade bed, another room had the hair dryer pulled out of the wall.. The area seemed sketchy, but was fine. I wanted a refund a couple hours after i got there, but was refused. The next day, hotel prices went up a lot (i should have got one sooner), so i was stuck at this hotel. It was a very poor experience to have at a hotel i thought would be decent.

The pool was dirty and cold in Yuma Az. So I went over to the hot tub and it was also cold and dirty! We were on vacation and we're expecting to swim. The bathroom door was off center so you had to use both hands to pull it open and our room with 2 queen beds was not ready and we had to take 1 king instead. The rooms were clean though and the shower was the best. Their breakfast was good also. Just don't advertise a pool and hot tub if your not going to have them clean or warm.

Stayed here due to location and price but for a pool and breakfast perks as well. The pool and hot tub really weren’t usable no bubbles dirty and cold pool with film on it. When I checked in I inquired about a second night and mentioned prices higher for Sunday night was unusual could I get same price but she said that’s how it is sometimes and wasn’t interested in quoting me a price. We ended up going a block away and called first to assure jacuzzi working and heated pool even! The breakfast was ok but going in at 8 it was bad timing no coffee or waffles or sausages but just too busy at the time to replenish.

Good location if you want to be near a lot of stores and restaurants. Easy access from highway. Has a pool and hot tub but pool is very cold and hot tub is cold. Beautiful sunny day so we wanted to use them. Major bummer.

The pool water was not the cleanest, slightly green (but, perhaps, it had just been serviced). The rest of the property was very clean. The pool over at La Fuente is better. The tv remote was sticky, but I think that also was from cleaning it. It had that non-slip finish that would get sticky when wiped. The hot water side of the bathroom faucet didn't work well. I know this sounds like a horrible review, but it was actually a decent place for a night's rest, passing through. Breakfast was really nice.

Wingate is always our favorite stay while in Yuma. Their nightly rates are very reasonable which includes a very comfortable bed, pillows, and fresh linens. The evening happy hour is a plus (2 free beers or wine and chips). As for dining choices, there are numerous restaurants within 10mins walking distance or very short drive down the street. Highly recommend to anyone wanting more bang for your buck.

We've stayed there before. This time not good. Stains on the carpet in the room. A TV remote so sticky I couldn't bring myself to use it. And an ottoman with the "pleather" deteriorating in chunks.

I love staying here, rooms are always cold and quiet. The staff is always excellent and make our stay a great one. My only complaint is the smell of the shower curtain, it had a strong mold/mildew smell like it hasn’t been washed.

Room was dirty, carpet stained everywhere. Tile peeling and squishy in the bathroom. Someone else’s dirty socks and underwear in the bathroom and main room. Not sure the sheets were even changed.

Stayed at this property last March for spring break and it was very clean! This time around it wasn’t. I moved the curtain and saw peanut butter packets laying on the floor so that tells me that they didn’t even clean/vacuum in that area. The tub had the pink mold in the corners as well. I think the maids are being rushed or maybe just not being thorough in the cleaning that’s just my opinion.

We stayed in a king room which was very spacious with a sitting area with mini fridge and microwave. The room was very clean, the bed was a little firm for me but my husband prefers a firmer mattress so it was great for him. The bathroom was very clean with great amenities. Breakfast had both hot and cold items and was really good. We would stay here again if in the area.

Hotel is conveniently located near a few restaurants and shopping. It has easy access to freeway and ample parking. Check-in was easy and “Noel” was the sweetest and professional staff member at the front desk. He answered all our questions and provided us with a quick list of all the hotel’s conveniences. We were able to check-in a little early, which was such a blessing since we were in town for a funeral and after a four hour drive needed to freshen up. Our room was on the third floor, but very close to the elevator and ice machine. The room was decent, but not as clean as we thought it would be or would have liked it to be. Picture on bathroom wall could definitely use some glass cleaner! I also had to pick up a dead bug from the bathroom floor upon arrival. Other than this, the beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the available Dove products in the bathroom. Room included a small refrigerator and coffeemaker, but because breakfast was included with our booking, we were able to enjoy the breakfast and didn’t use the room coffeemaker. Our only real complaint was the level of noise within the room itself. The sink faucet sounded like the shower was running, the AC was super loud, and the pigeons outside the window were cooing all night long!

Noel at the front desk was amazing - we had a problem with the smoke alarm and he quickly fixed it. Room was large and very clean. Breakfast was also plentiful. overall it was a great choice.

Woke up at 5:30am to shower and there was no hot water. Went to the front desk, where there was another customer also asking about the hot water. The front desk attendant simply said ‘sorry ma’am, they’re working on it’. No apology, no eta, nothing further. Took a cold shower and left the hotel as quick as I could; very frustrated. I stay here once a month for work - the lack of empathy and customer service over this event means I won’t stay here again. A simple apology would have gone a long way.

Booked for 5 friends and we checked in when we asked for the rollaway bed I was told it would be brought up. At 9pm we were told we couldn’t have one the only thing they would do is give us a room for the 5th person but we would have to pay additional $100.00 dollars. I spoke to the rude manager who used profanity Morgan Gehlot he told me that’s to bad he couldn’t help me told me I could leave or pay another hundred. The manager should not be allowed to treat guests like this. The fifth guest slept on the chair

We usually always stay here whenever we visit Yuma. The room is always clean and very comfortable. The front desk is very professional and friendly. It’s also within walking distance to area restaurants.

The property cancelled my reservation prior to me getting there without contacting me or expedia, as it still showed that I was set to check in as normal the entire time. They claimed to have tried to contact me because my card was not working but I had no evidence of that, no emails or missed calls. Also, I was set to pay upon arrival, so there was no reason for them to have been attempting to charge my card for more than a dollar to hold the reservation (the card was correct and it had money, I checked both). I ended up having to pay more than my original reservation and the person at the desk was rude the entire interaction. The people during the rest of my stay were fine, but the individual who “helped” me check in started my whole trip off on a sour note. I would recommend if you do stay here, contact the company to an annoying amount to ensure they didn’t just casually cancel your reservation.

The hotel itself was fine. Rooms were nice, pool was small. The service however was not ok. From check in to check out every time we communicated with the front desk it was like we were an inconvenience for them. We booked two rooms. We were 7 people total. We realized we were only provided 2 bath towels per room and stayed 3 nights. I went to the front desk to request more and the manager kept asking why? She reluctantly gave me more, asked for my room number and wrote it down that we got 2 more towels. Like we were going to steal them. We will not stay here anymore. Just a weird vibe.

Hotel is conveniently located near a few restaurants and shopping. It has easy access to freeway and ample parking. Check-in was easy and “Noel” was the sweetest and professional staff member at the front desk. He answered all our questions and provided us with a quick list of all the hotel’s conveniences. We were able to check-in a little early, which was such a blessing since we were in town for a funeral and after a four hour drive needed to freshen up. Our room was on the third floor, but very close to the elevator and ice machine. The room was decent, but not as clean as we thought it would be or would have liked it to be. Picture on bathroom wall could definitely use some glass cleaner! I also had to pick up a dead bug from the bathroom floor upon arrival. Other than this, the beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the available Dove products in the bathroom. Room included a small refrigerator and coffeemaker, but because breakfast was included with our booking, we were able to enjoy the breakfast and didn’t use the room coffeemaker. Our only real complaint was the level of noise within the room itself. The sink faucet sounded like the shower was running, the AC was super loud, and the pigeons outside the window were cooing all night long!

Very easy check-in and very clean room. Breakfast was nice with self-made waffles, premade sausage patties and hashbrowns. Good coffee. Walking distance to at least 3 good restaurants. Convenient to the I-8 offramp.

Stayed here due to location and price but for a pool and breakfast perks as well. The pool and hot tub really weren’t usable no bubbles dirty and cold pool with film on it. When I checked in I inquired about a second night and mentioned prices higher for Sunday night was unusual could I get same price but she said that’s how it is sometimes and wasn’t interested in quoting me a price. We ended up going a block away and called first to assure jacuzzi working and heated pool even! The breakfast was ok but going in at 8 it was bad timing no coffee or waffles or sausages but just too busy at the time to replenish.

The food for the breakfast was very fresh and good selection. The staff keeping care of the dining area were very friendly and really kept the area clean and stocked. Loved the room. The fan in the bathroom was a tad loud but that is the only issue. Otherwise we fully enjoyed our stay.

Wingate is always our favorite stay while in Yuma. Their nightly rates are very reasonable which includes a very comfortable bed, pillows, and fresh linens. The evening happy hour is a plus (2 free beers or wine and chips). As for dining choices, there are numerous restaurants within 10mins walking distance or very short drive down the street. Highly recommend to anyone wanting more bang for your buck.

Breakfast was good. Parking was good but inside the room had a urine smell and the carpet was sticky, and I asked the front desk for forks and she was too lazy just to give me forks but gave me spoons. Not very nice. It was the lady that worked the front desk on Saturday August 20 9 PM

We were supposed to have a late checkout. They told ee could stay until 1pm for $15.The next day, we left one person in our e of the 2 rooms we had they kicked him out of the room at 11:30. He had to wait until we came back at 1pm. When we asked at the front desk they said they didn't show a late checkout. They said the clerk that helped us didn't write it down. The clerk that helped out was not very friendly. I don't think we would stay here again.

We have stayed here before when in Yuma and may do so again. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, the breakfast is very good for hotel breakfasts. My bed was a little hard so didn’t seep the best but that’s OK.

Great find for anyone. Budget friendly with excellent quality. Rolling carts for unloading up front near door. Can check in/out electronically if preferred. Comfy firm beds, extra clean bathroom, clean pool area, great A/C unit and easy access from I-8. Small fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room. Ice machine in hallway. Nice complimentary full breakfast, good coffee. Movie theater, shopping mall and lots of dining options nearby too. We’ve stayed here several times over and consistently great quality staff every time.
