Great location, a good breakfast, and a disappointing finish. There’s plenty to like here: a convenient location, initially reasonable prices, and a breakfast that actually delivers—pancakes, eggs, sausage, the whole nine yards! Rates gradually increased during our stay, which was disappointing, although I understand prices fluctuate with demand. What ultimately left us disappointed was how staff handled the presence of my wife’s two trained service dogs. They’re French bulldogs: calm, quiet, well behaved, and—admittedly, I’m biased—about as cute as they come. During our stay, they weren’t barking, acting aggressively, or wandering off. We intended to extend our visit, but staff told us they would not allow it. The reasons given were that we hadn’t disclosed the service animals and that the dogs had been off leash while going from our room to the area immediately outside for a bathroom break. I recognize that service animals are still subject to leash and control requirements. My disappointment is with how the situation was handled. I would have appreciated a clear conversation about those requirements and an opportunity to address the concerns. Three stars reflects a stay with real positives that ended on a frustrating note. A little more communication and hospitality could have made a big difference.

No one at counter when we arrived. They no longer have in room coffee / coffee maker. Parking lot dirty. Staff unhelpful at breakfast. Limited options
