It's older and outdated but beautiful at the same time. The restaurant is delicious. Support the national park service!

I have been coming to the Peaks of Otter for many years. The Lodge was in the best condition I have seen it. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The scenery was amazing as usual!

The Peaks of Otter Lodge is in a picturesque location and the grounds are beautiful. It is pet friendly and we brought our dog. There is a small fee for this. The lodge itself needs updating and the room had some issues which I brought up to the front staff member. Also the bed and pillows needed to be updated. The pillows were old and very lumpy. My bedside light wasn’t plugged in and the cord would not reach the outlet on the other side of the bed. The room location was fine and I liked that there were two doors, one on each side of the room. You could sit in the front of the room on the patio and look at the lake. There was a nice paved path that ran all around the lake. The dining room was spacious and overlooked the lake, but the windows were dirty. The dining staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was ok. The breakfast less so, but adequate.
