The staff were very kind and helpful! The place could’ve been cleaner - it mostly just seemed rundown and old, but otherwise wasn’t too bad! My main gripe is that I wish more information was provided beforehand. The main lobby and the rooms are located in separate buildings, so you have to walk back outside to get to your room through the main lobby. However, once you check in, parking right outside your room is very convenient. Nonetheless, this was a very nice place to stay for a couple nights!

We had arrived and the place looked worse or similar to Motel 6. Somewhere where junkies would stay. We were informed that the pool was cloudy, but should be ok to swim in. They were having trouble with the pool maintenance to come in and fix the problem. There was a sign stating there was a game room, but yet there was no game room. It has said there was breakfast served, but yet it was grab and go? What does that mean? The lobby had tools and was halfway torn apart. I wasn’t sure if I could trust the sheets and room. I had asked for a refund since we were there only ten minutes and they had declined the refund, because we booked it through Expedia. It was my daughter’s birthday and all she wanted after going to Cedar Point was a room with a pool and served breakfasts. Since I had lost my debit card a couple hours before, we had to sleep in my car.

Not as advertised. Hot tub is broken. Breakfast room a mess - they give 'bag breakfasts to go'. Pool room is messy - water was warm but room uninviting and no shower there. other then being right behind a restaurant, so close you think your car will be hit there is zero room between hotel and the restaurant . however the room was clean very clean in fact i was surprised not even dust. the staff was above and beyond friendly over all the place does need updated but for a nights stay excellent even with the parking situation i will be back..... but nope laying in bed i look over and there is an upside cross on the side of the closet wall I'm out .... have pictures wish i could post didn't even check out or call nothing i left didn't even want my money back f i was g o n e!!!!!

The property is dated, so this may turn people off. I’m giving the hotel an excellent review as the staff was extremely friendly, our room smelled and looked clean and the restaurant in front of the hotel was delicious. We also enjoyed the indoor pool- clean and spacious. If you are looking for shiny and new, then you won’t want to stay here, but if you are looking for value with great people and clean bedding and surfaces, then I highly recommend.

Friendly and attentive staff. Bldg layout similar to 50s-60s roadside motels; parking right out front. AC worked well tho a tad noisy. Beds are OK, pillows a bit soft. Basic bathroom and amenities. Room frig's freezer was badly iced-up. Scratches and dents aplenty on wood furniture. Breakfast similar to the covid pre-packaged stuff. Not a lot of restaurant choices close-by.

Had to look for front desk person. We waited for about 15-20 min then we found him. Other than that everything was good. The room was nicer than I thought it was gonna be by looking at the outside you would think it wouldn’t be real clean but it actually was. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again

I didn't have high expectations for the price but was pleasantly surprised and impressed with both the professionalism we witnessed and amenaties offered. Clean and cheap, while treated like you paid twice the price. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Cedar Point.

This is a renovated property, and it was really well done. I grew up two doors away from this hotel, so I was not at all sure what to expect, but the renovations they did brought it up to what I would have expected of a much younger property. As an older property, it doesn't have the number of wall outlets and USB charging options that much newer properties have, but it was still quite adequate. VERY clean and VERY comfortable.

It looked nice from the outside. We requested maid service several times and never got it. Neighbors were loud and in and out all hours of the night making as much noise as possible. Other neighbor had a dog that ran back and forth in the hallway barking. After a bit, they would get the dog. Alarm in room next to us went off at 6:10AM and last for 20-minutes. Bathroom smelled musty. Floors were very dirty. I would not revisit.

It was dirty , the floor was dirty to the point the bottom of our feet was black when we walked acrossed the floor , and the towels still had stains in them and they was the clean towels to use...and there was flies flying around in the room bothering us... plus the door to the room did not seal around the door and you could see the sun light coming thru around the door...

Property very run down and dirty, air conditioning did not work. Room looked like it hadnt been swept in quite some time. I would avoid this place at all cost. Gentleman at check in was very nice. We were in the room for about 3 minutes and decided to forgo our stay and drive home, leaving us out the money.

Property was nice and clean. The area of the location was very nice. We had no worries leaving our motorcycles out in the parking lot over night in this area. The shower water was only slightly warm not hot at all. That’s my only complaint, but after riding 6-1/2 hours and spending a lot of time at a biker rally we really didn’t care haha. Just happy to be able to shower. We would definitely stay here again.

This was perfect for a one night, budget friendly stay while we spent two days at Cedar Point. The room was very clean. The beds were comfy. The air conditioning worked. Exactly what we needed to sleep, shower and get some A/C. And the staff were extremely friendly. Oh and it was nice and quiet so we could get some sleep. Would stay again!

Staff was great place was clean but they tried to improve the property but the quality just wasn’t there bathroom looked like a blind man attempted to remodel it. Everything was clean tho. The beds are not queen beds they were full beds and not good mattresses or pillows. For $234 for the night it’s definitely not worth it I would have stayed at a Marriott or a name brand for that price

The room was a great value especially in comparison to all of the other hotels around. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a little bit dated but again overall I was a very happy I chose to stay there it saved me over $100 compared to all the other surrounding options.

Check in went smoothly, and desk clerk was pleasant. Room was clean and looked recently renovated. Only complaint we had was that the beds were very firm. The breakfast was just a grab and go that consisted of juice, milk, and to go cereal. Overall not a bad place, and would stay again. If you are staying here during a cedarpoint trip, just be aware that this property is 30 minutes from the park.

Lobby seemed nice and well kept. Staff was very friendly and accommodating if needed. Our room was right near one of the exit doors so we were able to hear people going in and out throughout the night.

This was perfect for a one night, budget friendly stay while we spent two days at Cedar Point. The room was very clean. The beds were comfy. The air conditioning worked. Exactly what we needed to sleep, shower and get some A/C. And the staff were extremely friendly. Oh and it was nice and quiet so we could get some sleep. Would stay again!

I feel bad for this place, honestly, because I got the overall vibe that when this property was run by Best Western, it was top of the line. The lobby area is beautiful, but it was showing signs of disrepair. Other areas on the property was also showing signs of age, but I really don't blame management for this...it seems like the hotel really took a beating from COVID and the economy as a result...they seemed very understaffed, but the manager and the two employees I saw all really seemed to care about the customers. I can only hope things improve for them, but it may still take some time for that to happen. So despite its flaws, if I were to be in that area in the future I could see myself staying there again.

other then being right behind a restaurant, so close you think your car will be hit there is zero room between hotel and the restaurant . however the room was clean very clean in fact i was surprised not even dust. the staff was above and beyond friendly over all the place does need updated but for a nights stay excellent even with the parking situation i will be back..... but nope laying in bed i look over and there is an upside cross on the side of the closet wall I'm out .... have pictures wish i could post didn't even check out or call nothing i left didn't even want my money back f i was g o n e!!!!!

Check in went smoothly, and desk clerk was pleasant. Room was clean and looked recently renovated. Only complaint we had was that the beds were very firm. The breakfast was just a grab and go that consisted of juice, milk, and to go cereal. Overall not a bad place, and would stay again. If you are staying here during a cedarpoint trip, just be aware that this property is 30 minutes from the park.

Property was nice and clean. The area of the location was very nice. We had no worries leaving our motorcycles out in the parking lot over night in this area. The shower water was only slightly warm not hot at all. That’s my only complaint, but after riding 6-1/2 hours and spending a lot of time at a biker rally we really didn’t care haha. Just happy to be able to shower. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was pretty good. The staff was great . The only thing we were disappointed in was the breakfast. It consisted of a brown lunch bag with a package of two small blueberry muffins. And a foam bowl wrapped in Saran Wrap with a spoon. You could choose your little container of cereal. Should really be listed as a continental breakfast.

The property is dated, so this may turn people off. I’m giving the hotel an excellent review as the staff was extremely friendly, our room smelled and looked clean and the restaurant in front of the hotel was delicious. We also enjoyed the indoor pool- clean and spacious. If you are looking for shiny and new, then you won’t want to stay here, but if you are looking for value with great people and clean bedding and surfaces, then I highly recommend.

Don't use the bodywash they provide it broke me out in hives and the breakfast was ok not a hot one we got frozen breakfast sandwiches to take back to our room to warm up . We needed a clean place to shower and sleep and we got it! Clean rooms and bathroom. Very quiet. We loved the little stuff left in the room for us. Fridge kept all our stuff cold and microwave food for our food! Only one thing was the bathroom door didn’t close all the way. We were able to close with enough not to see anything but for some this may be an issue. Other than that no complaints! Even my 15 year old daughter said it’s so cute and would stay again! Also loved we could park our car right outside the door!
