Great property, easy walkable center of town location, great views of town and river from our room, wonderful breakfast, and fresh cookies and coffee/ tea available in lobby. Super clean. My one and only issue is parking. Pull up in back (spot can be tricky to get in and out of with so much auto and pedestrian traffic), run inside to get pass key, run back out, park, return pass key to desk... Huge time waste. A pass key should be given to every guest at check-in or a keycode that changes daily should be given. Once waited at desk for 15 min with another guest just to pick up parking gate pass because desk person ignored us and refused to pause her check-in with another guest and see what we needed or call for another staff member to help us. That was my only frustration with the visit. Have a better/faster gate pass key system where guests have their own key, or start using a manual key code that changes daily.

As always, we loved our stay at Lord Camden Inn. It is very welcoming to our furry friends and their families. My only criticism is the condition of the carpet in our room. It needs replacement.

The location in Camden is very convenient. Denise at the front is friendly, efficient and effusive. The remote parking lot and requirement to borrow the keycard for access is a minor inconvenience.

A very cozy room with a fireplace on a stormy day. Lovely river view. Very friendly staff. Fabulous bathroom in our suite. Most importantly, they welcomed our dog with a blanket, dog dishes and plenty of treats.

The location is great. Parking is down the street, a short walk and an extra charge if not booked directly with the hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was nice, though the sliding glass door to the balcony has smears on it and the furniture out there was dirty. The older AC unit was really loud, esp when sitting on the balcony, and kept going on and off all night. The breakfast was comparable to an average hotel breakfast. No fresh baked goods or homemade granola, and the oatmeal was dry and lumpy. Was expecting a better breakfast as this is described as an inn. Overall, the location is its best asset.

Great hotel with a nice New England charm. Centrally located and right on the water with beautiful views. Staff was extremely friendly ,ice cold fruited water and warm chocolate chip cookies waiting for you on the buffet. Beds were VERY comfortable and the pillows were extraordinary! Clean rooms, bathrooms. Hallways and stairwells were spotless.

Lord Camden Inn was a great place to stay in Camden. We were able to walk to many restaurants, bars, and activities on the water. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, for the price, the hotel's rooms definitely need a renovation. The decor was very dated, which was ok, but the bathroom floor and vanity need to be replaced. The shower was disgusting with areas of black mold around the grout lines and the shower fixtures.

A charming hotel on a perfect location that’s showing its west and needs TLC. Hallway and room carpets are worn; our room also had an old musty smell. The staff is very attentive and the breakfast buffet is great.

I wanted to love this place. And honestly if it were a two-star motel, I would have given it more stars. But the owners of this hotel claim this is a “Four Star Hotel” and have priced it accordingly. We paid over almost $1000 for three nights here in the shoulder season. But the details just aren’t there. The reality is that the rooms are outdated and poorly maintained with prefab plastic shower/bathtubs, mattresses that sag in the middle, and patio furniture with missing cushions. In our room the ceiling and a lamp were visibly water damaged (see photos). The floor, and especially the patio, were visibly dirty, and the walls were dinged up and dusty. The furniture and fixtures in the rooms desperately need an upgrade. To be fair, the staff were friendly, and the free breakfast was generous, although here too some of the details felt cheap and unappetizing. For example, some of the sliced fruit appeared brown and bruised, and on the second day, the muffins were damp and sticky on top, perhaps from being reheated in the microwave. My wife and I have stayed in hotels all over the world, including some very basic accommodations. I’m not that picky, and I'm not even looking for a four-star experience necessarily, but if you charge four-star prices, you’ve gotta actually provide that value. And the Lord Camden Inn under current ownership is falling far short. Avoid this place unless and until they invest in some major upgrades.

We stayed two nights at lord Camden. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location was perfect with everything within easy walking distance from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

The faucet handle fell off sink: the shower didn’t work properly; there was a pair of dirty slippers under bed when we checked in: the room was very dusty. The building is old so we didn’t know what to expect. Bed had a huge lump in the middle : obvious it was an old mattress. We paid $289 a night and unfortunately we will not be back, ps the breakfast was a typical buffet but the service was amazing!

The property is very nice we had a suite which had a terrace but people could look into your room if you don’t close the shades. Shower was wonderful and they had a jacuzzi bath tub. It’s located in a beautiful location near everything.

Excellent, wonderful friendly staff, very quaint and charming place to stay in Camden and we would stay again. The only negative was we had a corner room upstairs with balcony which was very very lovely but very noisy early in the morning and throughout the day. Lord Camden can do nothing to change this aspect and we would definitely stay again but perhaps find a quieter room.

Beautiful inn with a perfect location in Camden. Room was spacious clean and comfortable. Hotel decor is a little outdated and could stand a facelift. Buffet breakfast was decent. Staff was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Lord Camden Inn was amazing!! It’s an older building transformed into a beautiful inn. The room was very nice and very roomy. The bathroom was huge with what seemed to be marble tile. Breakfast was wonderful and staff were great. Parking is not an issue at all and the inn itself is located right on Main Street. You can walk right out the front door onto Main Street. Our stay was amazing!

We had the fireplace suite. View was not good, but room was stunning with red brick wall & so spacious. Excellent location...Camden is such a quaitn town. Staff (Maureen, Ann & one more) were so friendly & helpful. Only stayed one night. Wish it was more!

Pull up in back (spot can be tricky to get in and out of with so much auto and pedestrian traffic), run inside to get pass key, run back out, park, return pass key to desk... Huge time waste. A pass key should be given to every guest at check-in or a keycode that changes daily should be given. Once waited at desk for 15 min with another guest just to pick up parking gate pass because desk person ignored us and refused to pause her check-in with another guest and see what we needed or call for another staff member to help us. That was my only frustration with the visit. Have a better/faster gate pass key system where guests have their own key, or start using a manual key code that changes daily.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, quaint hotel. The staff was AMAZING! Every staff member we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was wonderful and allowed us to park and check in early, which was very convenient. Ivan took our bags to our room for us. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was great! Highly recommend this hotel!

Exceeded our expectations! Great property! And customer service...? I was blown away when a guest checking in at 9:00pm asked the woman at the front desk about nearby dining options. The guest was told that most options nearby were closing after 9:00pm....and she offered the guest her very own car to drive to other options a half mile away. What!? Mind blown!!!

This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Camden, Maine. Our room overlooked the harbor and the downtown area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was provided each morning as well- which was a nice surprise. I had somehow missed that amenity when booking. Parking was provided off site for a small nightly fee. We ended up leaving our car there for the length of our trip and walked everywhere, except to Mt. Battie. Truely a delightful stay.

Loved it! The history and architecture of the building was great, and the staff was truly wonderful. Right in the middle of a quaint idyllic coastal town so everything was easily accessible. Parking lot was only a block away and they had a nice area to load/unload off the main street. We had a "partial harbor view" room, which was really nice. Balcony outside to take it all in. Granted, the main street had a lot of traffic being end of July, so it was a bit noisy on the balcony, but inside the room with the door closed and the a.c. on, we really didn't hear anything. Breakfast was delicious too! Would definitely come back!

Perfect location and the staff were amazing. The breakfast was included and was excllent. I have nothing negative to say about this Inn except it was a little noisy on the rooms that are shore view. (Balconies that are on Main St) Would recommend taking the other side maybe.

The breakfast was excellent! Loved that it was right in the middle of Camden, walking distance to all of the little shops, the harbor, and lots of dining options. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My family loved the delicious chocolate chips cookies in the lobby. Loved the charm of the older details of the hotel but was still very spacious and clean.

The location is great. Parking is down the street, a short walk and an extra charge if not booked directly with the hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was nice, though the sliding glass door to the balcony has smears on it and the furniture out there was dirty. The older AC unit was really loud, esp when sitting on the balcony, and kept going on and off all night. The breakfast was comparable to an average hotel breakfast. No fresh baked goods or homemade granola, and the oatmeal was dry and lumpy. Was expecting a better breakfast as this is described as an inn. Overall, the location is its best asset.
