Hampton Inn Cincinnati-Northwest/Fairfield

Fire alarm went off at 4:30 am, after evacuating told to return to room. Continued to go off 5 more times over the next several hours! Unable to get restful sleep with a very long driving journey ahead the next morning. Manager didn’t comp room or offer another stay for another time.

The staff are always nice and the rooms are always clean. The breakfast is a plus! We always stay here when we go to Cincinnati zoo

Several lights and outlets did not work. Not acceptable to only have a desk light available. Likely a tripped breaker and a simple fix, but not at 11 pm when I arrived.

Pool and hot tub was the main reason I was booking this particular hotel. And of course it was not working when I got there and wouldn’t be until after I left. Breakfast on Friday was great. Saturday and Sunday were meh. Staff the first night was awesome and very helpful/personable. The remaining days were also meh. Hotel was clean but hallway on the fourth floor had a stink. I would have complained the day of if it had permeated into my room but it did not thankfully. First room I was in the shower head did not work. Luckily I got moved immediately. But I had traveled a long distance and hoped to relax in a hot tub, then couldn’t, then went upstairs for a hot shower. Then couldn’t. Frustrating but not the end of the world. Overall, l felt like I overpaid considering what I got.

Empty coke can between bed and nightstand when we arrived in our room. Beds and pillows aren't as comfortable as I would have liked. Staff was great. Breakfast was early and good.
