We enjoyed our weekend getaway at this hotel. The breakfast was wonderful and hot, although the line was kinda long for the waffle maker so we ended up skipping it . The beds are comfy and it was quiet at night. I will say however , the hotel was nice but the smell of chlorine was quite strong as we stayed on the bottom floor. The pool needed cleaned desperately and the chlorine was so strong that our eyes burned from it . Also, there are several closed businesses in this area which made it feel a bit on the creepy side .

The Hotel is very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and engaging. The Indoor Heated Pool however was “closed for maintenance “. When I travel and compare properties I always try to book a property with a pool and don’t mind paying a little extra to get it. The Hotel website was not updated to reflect the change either.

I canceled a different hotel to stay here based on namebrand of hotel and reviews. VERY disappointed. We had sticky gummy worms stuck into the floor that we stepped on in socks. We found multiple hairballs on the carpet and in one of the beds towards bottom of sheets! The room smelled like a cross between body odor / spoiled food / mustiness. I aked the evening clerk if we could switch rooms and got a very unsympathetic "sorry we're sold out." He truly didn't care, though. Hoped the a/c unit would help with the smell but it didn't and rattled loudly the entire time it was on...every. time. Disappointing to say the least.

The bathtub had hairs from a previous guest (s). The ceiling had mold above the shower and the drywall was broken and hanging. The breakfast staff were excellent and the personnel in general. We have been staying at this hotel for years every time we visit Ohio. Unfortunately on our next visit, we will not due to the cleanliness. Thank you! Rosie Johnson

The Staff was Friendly, Professional and accommodating. What started out as a three-day stay turned into a day-by-day ordeal. Thanks to the Staff the ordeal was, Lodging wise, less stressful. If I even have to come back to Fairfield, Ohio, I will be booking my stay at this hotel. The hotel was spotlessly clean inside and out. I never saw anything dirty or in need of attention.

Wasn’t offered any bottled water upon check-in as I have been in the past. The shower was weak and operated poorly. Visible signs of previous damage. Window shade didn’t appear to be operable or had no pull string. Walls are thin and could hear everything outside the room. Hallway consistently smelled of cheap cologne. Was woken up at 6AM on a Saturday by the next room blaring their radio. When I called front desk to complain, they said they would go up there. Had to call back again after nothing was addressed. I even had to knock and ask the guest to turn down their radio. No call back by the front desk to check in about it. This happened again on a Sunday morning as well. Food was not very fresh and/or lower quality. Hard boiled eggs were old and shouldn’t have been served to guests. Overall, this stay was pretty poor but not the worst ever. I had stayed here before several times but I’ll probably not be returning again after this.

I think it’s wonderful that this hotel advertises itself as pet friendly. The issue we had was the LOUD air conditioner. It Woke me up everything it came on in the night.

Booked a 2 night stay at total $625. It was 90 degrees both days. First night didn’t sleep at all because air conditioner didn’t work. They replaced the unit the next day with an older unit. It worked, but made constant really loud noises all night and we couldn’t sleep again. After complaining, Hampton Inn decided they would refund us $50. For no sleep for 2 nights! Great customer service!

Very nice place to stay. The mall next door is. Ring torn down but there are shops and eating places close by. Pretty nice area. The hotel is clean, beds and pillows comfy. Coffee and tea and hot choc available 24/7. The nothing for us was no internet access. Now the hotel has free WiFi and I did sign in as the staff told me but still not true internet. And hubs tried repeatedly but could not sign in. We were visiting family and could usetheir internet- otherwise we would have had none. There are computers there for folks who wish to use them and that is an option. The pool looked inviting but we did not swim. The breakfast was nice with several different options and some variety every day. Wonderful welcoming staff.

Hotel staff was very friendly and fast. I requested extra towels and pillows upon arrival and they were delivered to my room immediately. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff especially helpful, friendly, and attentive. We received snacks upon check- in and when we checked out, there was a “travel” snack bag. Very nice touch! Vinny checked us in and we saw him several more times during our 4 day stay. He was very friendly; always smiling and asking if everything was going ok with our say. Would definitely stay again.

The area around the hotel is run down with vacant parking structures and stores. Breakfast was average. The hotel was very busy and the noise level was high. On site parking.

Average budget hotel. Area around hotel was an vacant shopping mall and crumbling parking stucture. Beds were uncomforable. Very soft matress. Housekeeping only freshens up your room every two days. We asked for fresh towels and she didnt even take the used, wet towels out of the bathroom.
