Kids loved the pool even with the rain. Toilet would not stop running and the AC was way to noisy. So did not sleep very well. Beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean. We only stayed for one night as we were going to Enchanted rock the next morning then back home as we are only a 2 hr drive away.

Nice enough management, but lots of signs of renovations needed. The “hot tub” was cold. Towels for pool were not offered because the manager said the towels were too expensive. But it was good enough for the pricing!

The staff were friendly and kind. The hotel is in rough shape, definitely an older establishment, but it is the most affordable in the area. They do have a pool and hot tub, tho the jets don’t exact work, but it’s relaxing enough.

The room was absolutely disgusting with mouse poop and the toilet was disgusting, I asked the guy at the front desk if he could have someone come clean it and he said that all he could do was give me some cleaner and I could clean it. Very disappointed as we were guests and were told to clean the toilet they didn’t clean..

The room we had smelled so bad. The carpet was stained, the restroom was “cleaned” there was a hair in the toilet and the bath tub was just dirty. The fridge had vinegar smell. Check in people were nice but the hotel no.

First off, the night attendant, while not rude, wasn’t very friendly or welcoming. Then, we get to our room and as soon as I open the door, a roach takes off across the floor. I killed it and threw it in the trash can. Strike one, but hey, critters are critters and you can’t always control all of them, I get it. Then, go over to the bathroom area and there are random pieces of hair on the counter. Ok, maybe it’s a little dirtier than it should be. Strike two. Finally, I poured the remainder of a cup of coffee in the sink and it wouldn’t drain one bit. Strike three. There was no way I was going to be comfortable asking my pregnant wife and our 5 year old to sleep in such a room. So I went back to the night host to see about getting a refund and we would go to a different hotel and he stated that he would have to wait until the morning to go see if my allegations were legit. So dirty facilities plus poor maintenance and on top of that, horrible customer service, means that I would absolutely not recommend this hotel.

The place was very run down. Carpet had stains all over it. Paint and sealant was flakey around shower and bathroom fixtures. Not sure how it has a 7.6 rating on Hotels.com.

There were roaches everywhere in the room!!! The red bed cover had white stains. Which makes me believe they didn't even wash it. Floor was dirty. The area is very quiet and convenient but I do not recomended it.

We were very pleased with our rooms. We will definitely stay again . I read some negative comments about this place but I didn’t want to pay more so I took a chance. I’m glad I did . Our room was nice, clean and very comfortable.

Front door had huge gaps and you could hear everything from outside. Restroom floor was dirty and it had ants. Bedding was ok. Tv control didn’t work.

It's nothing at all fancy. It's very old and outdated. The carpet smells like stinky Fritos or feet. The TV did not even work.... but......on a positive note. Staff was friendly. Beds were comfy. Showers were great. Shopping and eatery's were close. We felt safe. It's just super old! Good for just resting.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The area was quiet . The place is old but you can tell that management tries to keep things up. I felt like it would be nice to have electric plug close to the beds so we could charge our phones. All in all it was a good stay.

We checked in had two rooms . Went to 1st room it was ok a little outdated but ok. Gave 10 year old grandson key to room next door and he walks into 2 grown men in the bed. Went back to front desk he assured us he would fix it comes back said there was a mix up and said the only other room he had available was one with three queen beds but air conditioners was messed up and the carpet was wet. I told him no just refund us and we will go somewhere else only to realize he charged me again. Called to get it fixed and it has been nothing but a mess .

The guy was working of front desk was meant when I report the AC was leaking he told me , ok you need to look for another place to stay .. then he moved me to another room with AC broken

The hotel is in dire need of renovations. The staff at the front desk appear to be miserable and are incapable of a genuine smile. If you ask for anything they will help you but look at you with contempt. I won't stay here again.

It was a steal for one night in Fredericksburg. For what we paid the value was fine. Only issue was that there was no tv remote control, and the one provided after I asked for one did not work. Since we got there kind of late and we were tired It didn’t impact much

Our room was clean and comfortable. The area was quiet . The place is old but you can tell that management tries to keep things up. I felt like it would be nice to have electric plug close to the beds so we could charge our phones. All in all it was a good stay.

This is an old facility that desperately needs to be renovated. They also only serve a continental breakfast. Their breakfast bar is only about 6 feet long. Very limited choices. Will not stay here again.

Room was good for what we needed, comfortable place to sleep for one night without breaking the bank. Fridge was great and a/c worked great. Breakfast was good especially the coffee. Able to park right in front of room so easy to load and unload.

Hotel price point is good, safe area with friendly check in. Rooms are dated and pool was empty, breakfast is very minimal. Fruit and store bought pastry in a package. Matress was ok.

The property and rooms were clean. Bed a bit bumpy. And breakfast was package pastries, fruits, juices and cofee. Water pressure was poor. Great price though.

Disgustingly dirty with bodily fluids on the dust ruffle, dirty tub, boogers wipes on walls. It was so dirty that I couldn't stay there. I walked into the room and I was afraid to sit anywhere. Went to the desk and told them I needed to cancel by stay. A front desk staff was helpful but even though I walked into the room looked around and said, I could not stay, they only partially returned my fees because it was booked through a third party hotels dot com

If you are looking for a decent place to stay and you won’t be there much, this is it. If you are looking for anything else, this is not it. We chose to stay here because I had my small dog with me and it was very limited. The property itself is pretty old, rundown and outdated. The room was OK, but lots of obvious issues like the ceiling was peeling, the floorboards were peeling off, the shower had no pressure and the tub was stained and looked dirty. The breakfast was all generic brands minus the small cereal boxes, Yahoo and Sunny D. The lady we dealt with ( I didn’t get her name) wasn’t the most friendly but she is working hard. I would not stay here again, but it is definitely a low cost decent place to lay your head.
