The AC in our room did not work and they did not have a maintenance man on property. Also the morning we were to check out, the elevator was not working and we were on the third floor. We had to carry our luggage down from the third floor.

when we got to hotel to check in pool and spa not working parking lot full construction company vehicles , sign a desk stating pool not working . we cancel our stay staff was mad about canceling stated we have to give 24 hour notice we stated to staff we only wanted to cacal because hotel was not what it showd on hotel.com site , we could not reach anyone at hotels.com much less the ownership of this bad hotel . they also charged my card even though we did not stay .we will never use this site . to bbook ever again this was our 47 wedding anniversary and we took our 16 yr grandaughter and friend we booked two rooms ,thank god we got much better hotel for our stay ,now fighting credit card company on charges to card when we never stay there

Not sure how this place has an 8.4 rating on hotels.com. The pool was cloudy and dirty, the hot tub was dirty and cold. Our room was hot and never cooled down no matter how low we set the ac and blacked out the windows. The elevator made pretty scary noises and one time when it arrived to our floor the noise became worse and it started shaking before the doors would open.

Coming into the room there was a musty wet smell. The room was not clean we found water bottle caps on the floor. The shower area had marks where it needed cleaning and there was a bug in the restroom that usually come out due to humidity. The hot tub was dirty. We were told that no cleaning is done for overnight stays which we stayed for 4 days and we had to ask and replace the towels. The trash was not even taken out. There was no ice machines on the first floor, the ice machine didn’t work on the second floor and we had to go all the way to the third floor. Wish they would also separate the floors by people with and without dogs. The people next door to us had a dog who cried all night for two straight nights. The staff that checked us in and out were great and friendly .

The property had cockroaches and used the term “palmetto bugs”, when we asked to change rooms because we had a huge one on our wall in our room. The next room we were placed in seemed cleaner but we couldn’t be a peace because of the experience. The towels smelled like stale laundry like they haven’t been dried and got sour. Next room had lots of arguing,screamingcalled front desk they stopped for a while but continued till late in the night. I had brought my grand children for spring break Then we found big inch and a half cockroaches between beds. We never thought such could happen in Fredricksburg. Room 302 had issues in tub-shower with faucet controls. The heavy Hot-cold water handle fell off in the shower and hit my foot. Then the temp of water couldn’t be controlled. When I tried to stop the shower flow by using the lever on the water spigot, it pulled out of the wall. This made for a cold & uncomfortable shower. I reported this to the front desk - it’s unbelievable that housekeeping hasn’t previously reported the tub damage because it didn’t appear newly damaged.

I have nearly nothing bad to say about this hotel. Almost everything was completely good, so why am I giving it 3 stars? Every time the AC turned on it blew a mildew smell into the room and my allergies flared up really bad. It would've been perfect but unfortunately we got unlucky with the room. I hope not every room was like that. I'm willing to give the hotel another shot if we need to go to Fredericksburg again but definitely not first choice.

The bed mattress was about 3 feet off the floor, my wife removed 1 of 3 sofa cushions and placed on the floor to help her step up on to the bed. I am 5'10" and could not sit on the bed with my feet on the floor. I can see some senior falling of the bed and breaking their hip, and sueing the hotel chain. However, the toilet was seat was about 14 inches of the floor, and no bar to hold onto while trying to seat down, I can see some senior falling and breaking a hip. In addition, the toilet seat and base was loose.

We were staying here along with my sister-in-law and her husband. She fell on the cement outside and could not get up. A strong young man at the desk came to her aid and was wonderful! He helped her back to her room and was so kind!

It was quiet away from the traffic of Main Street but close enough to easily drive to any shop, museum, or restaurant. The breakfast was great. The staff were very accommodating. One critique: the bed was too soft and a bit worn. I had two rough nights of sleep.

My reservation was messed up. Took forever to check in. No ice machine on first floor, the one on second floor was broken and the one on third floor had black things all in the ice. Breakfast was awful. My room door lock was broken and screwed to a piece of cardboard stuck to the door instead of the actual door. My tv didn’t work until the last day I was there. No toilet paper. Called for some and was told to come get it, they couldn’t bring it to the room. The hot tub didn’t work and was as cold as the pool. I’ve stayed at many comfort inns and this is by far not even close to what I’m used to or was expecting. I do not recommend the comfort inn in Fredericksburg Texas and I will never stay there again. Also extremely expensive for what little you get.

Property was not as nice as pictures, staff at front desk nice. Our room was decent sized with a fridge but it smelled stinky and musty. The carpet felt damp and not very clean. The breakfast was not very good and most of the buffet items were empty and took a long time to refill. Better of spending $40 more and staying at Fairfield or Holiday Inn which were nearby.

We did not have our room serviced after our first night and were a little disappointed with the appearance of our room. The floor had 2 red stains next to the bed, there was a dirty washcloth under the shelving under the sink. It just isn't what we are used to at a Comfort Inn. The breakfast menu never changed. Just a little disappointing. Sorry!

Clean and roomy. A little bit of its age shows, but doesn't you own home? They were doing some painting so they are keeping the place up. I'll stay there again.

Out TV did not work. They right is a Vizio but everyone we wanted to see anything we had to log in through our phone. Took forever and we could not watch any sports because we had to purchase the apps.you for to relax not stress

On our checkout morning, the fruit and yogurt weren't stocked at all, seemingly untouched since the weekend. Housekeeping was hit-or-miss.
