Pros: Staff was kind. Complimentary breakfast. Cons: MOLD! As soon as I walked in my room I was overcome with the smell of mold. You could see visible mold spots on the walls/ceiling as well as where it looks like they tried to clean & cover it up. The bedding also felt damp. Exit door was propped open with a piece of wood. The doors to outside also never latched close as if they were broken and remained open at all times. The lock on the room door didn’t work either. Just doesn’t seem safe to me.

The property needs a lot of upkeep. Ants appeared on the desk and kept coming, more each day. Dehumidifiers were running in the hallway. I could hear the people\'s phone conversations clearly in the next room. When I checked in they told me they had no single rooms (which I had reserved) and asked if they could "upgrade" me to a suite. I said, "Same price?" No, it was $30 more. When I declined, they suddenly found a single room. There were some positives, such as—outside, the building looks like a decent hotel. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was prepackaged, but the variety was good. But overall, not a great place to stay.

Facility looked good from outside and in the lobby. Staff, while not well dressed, was pleasant and efficient. The room was a disappointment. Linens were clean, but walls and carpet were not. The room had an 'old motel room' odor. This facility, while not that old, desperately needs reworking. I would not recommend this to anyone in its current condition.

Clean rooms. Staff very helpful and attentive. The rooms need some major attention. My room 126 needs carpet pulled out, owner needs to look it, shower floor is molded due to curtain wont close only hangs in center therefore floor gets wet. Curtains are coming off hooks. Walls had stains. This us NOT the employees fault but management needs to take a closer look. Didn't use washer and dryer but out if order. This hotel could be really nice.

Room a bit out dated. Not the cleanest. Staff was nice. Security was lax. Seemed under staffed. Molding in my room was falling off and furnishings were outdated. Rooms need an update and deep cleaning. Over all, served it’s purpose for a stay, but security for especially a person traveling alone, not familiar with the area needs improvement due to the location in a warehouse complex. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. They seem to be doing several different tasks at the hotel and running the front desk in between tasks. Need a designated front desk person so the staff don’t get pulled away from what they are doing to help guests. Staff was great helpful and hard working. Entry to hotel needs automatic doors to enter when your juggling luggage, entering and exiting would be a bit smoother. This is the first hotel I’ve ever been to that ID was never asked for upon checking in. Over all, the stay was fine, staff was very nice and coffee and continental breakfast was a bonus. Bed and towels fresh every day.

The room was essentially clean, just some wear & tear issues needed- some mold in the shower. Not sure who thought it was a good design for attractiveness to make the wall behind the beds a mirror, but that needs updating. The room was your basic room, and exactly what I paid for. The interior of the hotel was clean, but the outside shows signs of age. One of the side doors looks like it was always propped open. There was no way for a person in a wheelchair to easily open the front doors as there were no automated door buttons. There was only one single staff member that wasn't rude, non-responsive to a greeting, or treated you like an outsider. It should be noted that this hotel does have a lot of longer term guests.

New owners trying to get things back up to shape after being flooded because of burst pipe. We were in a handicapped room by request. I suggest new owners install ramps at the end of each hallway and provide a Handicapped marked parking space. Owners need to replace outside door card reader; door was propped open - no security! Tile was slippery in bathroom had to put down towels to prevent slipping causing need for extra towels. That was not so bad, but housekeeping did not check on room even though requested. We arrived on Thursday and had no housekeeping until my insistence on Saturday afternoon. I had to take my wet towels to front desk Thursday, Friday and Saturday to get replacements. Bed linen not changed until Saturday. All handicapped rooms were at the ends of each end of the hallways. Most egregious was the black mold in carpet and baseboard on wall and floor between bedroom and shower. I asked for a replacement room but the hotel was booked through the weekend. Room was tolerable other than that. Employees listened but could not do anything about the conditions. We will probably stay there again if the need arises but not until after the renovations to the ground floor have been completed.

Check in took a while (and we were the only ones there). Its a no smoking hotel, but smells like smoke just about everywhere. Our first room clearly had been smoked in and the smoke detector was beeping. The second did not smell of smoke, but the windows leaked air and squealed in the wind. Not a lot of choices in the area, but the B & Bs are probably better unless your budget says otherwise.

The lobby area wasn't maintained, the furniture had been shoved haphazardly around. The carpet was ripped and the hallway smelled stale. Once in our room, the overhead light was blinking, the drapes were halfway hanging off the rod, and the room had a very unpleasant smell, it felt like the Bates Motel. The bathroom had hair on the floor, stains all over the walls and there was black mold around the bathtub. We couldn't leave fast enough the next morning. Probably the worst place I've ever stayed.

Ants in bedding. Horrible foam pillows. Noisy. Stayed 3 nights and each morning was awaken by what seemed as moving of furniture. Dogs were on 2nd floor. Big dogs got into fights and could be heard along with their regular barking. Cheap bars of soap. I've stayed twice before. Last was 2 yrs ago. Had no problems. Possibly under new management. Very disappointed.

Overall dirty place to stay. It was 1 night for us and we had a long day 12hrs on the road so we toughed it out. This place is not worth what we paid for a night. The smell as soon as we entered until we checked out was a bad strong smelly odor. The bed had some short hair on the sheets that I had to remove before we slept, and the bathroom had a cracked mirror, the carpet all dirty and old.

This hotel was not very clean or well kept up. We did not stay the night here and stayed elsewhere. The bed in our original room had hair and what seemed like crumbs on the bed. We understand these things happen so we went down and the staff did upgrade us to a suite no extra charge which was very kind. Once we walked into the second room we quickly realized this too wasn’t clean. Marks and stains all over the bed and sheets, crumbs on the table/island area, a residue around the sink. It just wasn’t worth staying the night and after the second room we weren’t willing to try a third.

Checked in around 9:30p into rm 105 (accessible rm). Floor was sticky, walls were filthy, smelled terrible (like cat hoarder smell), and the bathroom was gross. The only good thing was the beds. Sheets “seemed” clean and the beds were comfortable.

Floor above our room was noisy every time someone walked around, this was noticeable especially in the middle of the night. The plaster on the wall in the shower is coming off. No water available to make a cup of tea in the dining room. Very basic unhealthy breakfast. Very basic room with a bed and a small desk and a closet. The A/C in the room could not be adjusted, either too hot or too cold. It was still pushing air in even when it was turned off. There was a lot of dust on the vent on the AC.

This hotel really needs to be upgraded. The furnishings were old and the window seating cushion showed signs of wear and tear. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. With this being a Wyndham property, I expected this place to be upgraded.

The room was just OK. The bathroom was very small and a little dirty. Towels were nice. Bed and bed clothes were excellent. Not a whole lot of closet and drawer space. The location of the motel was good. Ample parking.

There was a very loud booking in the room above us, mind you it was at 11:00pm, when calling the front desk to ask if they could ask the loud occupants to settle down, I was told “ma’am, it is Friday night”. I had a 15 year old here for a softball tournament who needed sleep, they didn’t seem to care. The room was decently clean but was saturated with the smell of stale cigarette smoke. Will never stay at a Microtel again bc of this experience. I am usually pretty understanding and don’t complain but if you want to party go to a bar, not a hotel where people need sleep. The front desk manager didn’t seem to care.

I think this is about as good as it gets in Jasper. It was good for the price. Seemed like there are some things that need to be updated. It was pretty humid in the room even with the air on. But the staff is what really made the visit. They’re all very welcoming.

The breakfast was very limited. I was woken up at 7am on the dot with the lawn care service mowing on a Sat morning. I felt that was a bit early. It was a nice property with all things considering. The staff was nice and friendly but seemed a bit confused when we were checking in.

When someone was at the desk, they were friendly and helpful. Sometimes you could not find anyone. Some pieces of tile in the bathroom fell off just from touching them, and the toilet was not sealed well. When you sat and got up, it shifted and made a loud noise. To say they had any type of breakfast was a big stretch. It luckily there were places close by. I would not stay there again.

The Hotel is in a great area, there are also local stores near. Inside of the lobby was well kept. Staff was nice. The room I stayed in needed some touchups to be in better shape. Carpet had some stains. The bed was comfortable. Over all Location & building was nice and good area.

I was in Jasper for a wedding. I wanted to stay close to the venue. Microtel was close & within my budget. It was clean & the room was comfortable. If I'm ever in this area again, I would definitely stay here.

Very comfortable only draw back was the breakfast. I understand that breakfast is tough but biscuits with a sausage in a plastic pack just didn’t cut it. Between the sausage biscuit and packed hard boiled eggs I was nauseous for a couple hours.

TV did not work. Toilet was leaking. Fortunately they did have another room available and switched us but until I advised them about the toilet situation I don’t think anything would have been done. Breakfast was stale bagels, cold cereal, or lunchbox fruit. Not my idea of breakfast

This is a solid 3-star place. The employees were super friendly, but it is not a place of luxury. I had no problems. The bed is comfortable and clean. There are no frills in the very small room. The coffee maker in the room did not work correctly, and the included breakfast is simple continental—packaged foods mostly. I don't think there were any warm options. Free lobby coffee is from a vending machine, but it was alright! It kinda seemed like people live in the hotel because they are all friendly with one another. Safe! No frills! I'll probably stay there again. Jasper is a cool town.

The hotel is pretty much the only game in town. We checked into our rooms and found that there was still trash in the trash cans and that the floors weren't thoroughly swept. Front desk staff was very helpful in correcting these short-comings and once we got settled, things were ok. Also, don't leave food about. There were ants around the desk and nightstand. The breakfast in the morning is mostly carbs with the exception of some hard-boiled eggs.

Really enjoyed my stay- hotel was clean, perfect for my business trip and quiet. Breakfast was adequate. ***only recommendation is to upgrade to plusher towels (the ones available were clean but rather thin)

Problems with toilet not working. After 2 failed attempts to fix, we were finally moved to a different room. This room was right outside laundry and ice machine which was noisy. Continental breakfast was horrible. Juice machine out of order. No fresh fruit. Very limited selection. Comfortable bed.
