We used the free car park outside the town and walked up to the Hotel. no issues at all and gave us the opportunity to get our bearings. the Hotel is sited in the village square. The staff were welcoming, the bedroom was lovely and big overlooking the square. with the wooden shutters we had no issues with noise from the church bells. The breakfast was extensive and we could also order. cooked omelette and eggs. We had a drink before dinner overlooking the plains and mountains breathtaking. we choose to eat in the hotel and weren’t disappointed- we had a tomato soup and pasta dish to start( which could have served as a main) followed by veal tail and venison which were both equally delicious. we would certainly book again.

Habe beim Buchen die Hotels nach einem vorhandenen Parkplatz gefiltert. In der Beschreibung des Hotels stand unter Highlights Parkplatz vorhanden. Nach 15 Minuten fahrt durch die engsten Gässchen stand ich endlich vor dem Hotel. Parkplätze gab es keine, denn das Hotel hat gar keine. An der Rezeption empfahl man mir das nächstgelegene Parkhaus, welches 1,1 km entfernt ist. Von dort könne ich ja dann ein Taxi nehmen. Also wieder 15 Minuten durch Gässchen, wo man zT einen Spiegel einklappen musste, damit man durchkam. Nach 1 Stunde war ich dann am Hotel. Die Dame beim Checkin hatte wenig Verständnis, dass ich aufgrund dieser Erfahrung verärgert bin, das Hotel sei schließlich nicht für die Informationen in der Hotelbeschreibung verantwortlich!? Nur wer sonst? Also unternahm sie exakt null, um den Ärger zu lindern: kein Upgrade (freie Zimmer hätte es genügend gegeben), kein kostenloses Frühstück – noch nicht mal ein Begrüßungsdrink. Danke für gar nichts. Das Zimmer war groß, definitiv nicht modern (aber noch gut in Schuss). Das Frühstück war für die Qualität der Speisen zu teuer. Die Dame im Service war dafür aufmerksam und engagiert. Trotzdem, in Summe war es mein wohl schlimmstes Hotel-Erlebnis ever.

The town is particular and unique. So this parador is the best option to stay. The building and the views are very nice. The downside is parking and accessibility. There was construction just in front of the hotel so I assume that made it worst. You need to access through a narrow street and then park downhill and walk up or take a taxi to go back to the hotel

This is a very unusual hotel. We had a superior twin room on the first floor with a huge balcony over a 300 ft vertical cliff. From your balcony, you have an open view of the valley below. The birds are flying below you, not above you. The hotel has a feeling of a very well-maintained old palace. The bathroom is very large. The level of services at the hotel is limited, but satisfactory.

Arcos is a peculiar hotel located atop a cliff on the highest part of town. Do not try driving on the towns narrow streets. Call the hitel and get directons to the remote parking area. Beautiful town and many bars and restaurants to choose.

Hotel was nice, great location at the top of this small hill town, incredible views. The problem was that parking was in a public garage outside of town. We should never have driven up to the hotel. Because of construction in front of the hotel there was really no place to even unload the car. We should have been instructed in advance to park in the garage and walk up to the hotel. The walk from the garage up to the hotel was a fairly strenuous 10-15 minutes, but doable. We did not know ANY of this when we arrived and found the desk person less than helpful and was very frustrated by the whole experience.

Lové dans le cœur d'un village blanc andalous, on ne peut être que séduit par l'endroit. La vue sur les alentours est magnifique et l'emplacement idéal pour profiter du coucher de soleil depuis la terrasse. Il est fortement déconseillé de s'aventurer dans la vieille ville en voiture, les rues étant particulièrement étroites et les possibilités de parking aux abords de l'hôtel très limité. Il nous a été recommandé un bon parking où stationner avec une navette gratuite jusque l'établissement. Les chambres sont très spacieuses avec toutes les commodités possibles ainsi qu'une vue sur la place principalement (pour ce qui était de nos chambres). Pour ceux qui sont inquiets par la présence à proximité directe de l'église, nous n'avons pas été dérangés par les cloches de minuit à 8H00. Le personnel est serviable et la qualité ""Parador"" au rendez-vous. On a pu apprécier également la demie-pension avec un très bon repas bien cuisiné et le service efficace. Le petit-déjeuner était également à la hauteur des espérances avec des produits frais et locaux, le tout dans un cadre local remarquable. À refaire sans hésitation !

First, I would encourage anyone who likes old-style European hotels, beautifully maintained, in great locations, to consider the Paradors Chain of hotels. We didn't know about them prior to our last visit. If we had, we'd have booked nothing else. This Parador is an especially good one. Sitting on the side of a cliff in a medieval town, it has spectacular views in a perfect setting. Built in 1965, the hotel has much old-world charm.

Fantastic one night stay. Check in was professional, prompt and smooth yet very friendly and informative thank to the lovely Juana. Room was so clean that you’d happily walk around barefooted. Room was also spacious with plenty of light coming in on the windows that could be closed by stylish wooden covers and thick curtains as well for a good night sleep. Beds were extremely comfortable, bathroom and wardrobe well equipped for a homely feel. Breakfast we hesitated to book due to price, eventually booked and it was well worth it. Service by catering staff (lady in her 50s, lighter colour hair elegantly bundled up) was exceptionally friendly. We had the most delicious ham and egg omelette with pisto on the side. Other food selection was also great with wide variety. Terraces and amenities are great, the hotel has a great elegant vibe, which made us consider to always choose paradores hotels in our future stays across Spain. Highly recommend it to couples and families alike!

Good on restaurant was disappointing- had pasta and didn’t really enjoy it. Partner not keen on his either. Breakfast was nice. Staff friendly and helpful. We loved Arcos.

Beautiful former palace with incredible views from terrace. Front desk staff were not very welcoming compared to other hotel properties we have stayed at. I booked a Mountain View room and when I asked about it the Staff person just said “No” with no other explanation. We received a nice size room but no view whatsoever.

Lové dans le cœur d'un village blanc andalous, on ne peut être que séduit par l'endroit. La vue sur les alentours est magnifique et l'emplacement idéal pour profiter du coucher de soleil depuis la terrasse. Il est fortement déconseillé de s'aventurer dans la vieille ville en voiture, les rues étant particulièrement étroites et les possibilités de parking aux abords de l'hôtel très limité. Il nous a été recommandé un bon parking où stationner avec une navette gratuite jusque l'établissement. Les chambres sont très spacieuses avec toutes les commodités possibles ainsi qu'une vue sur la place principalement (pour ce qui était de nos chambres). We used the free car park outside the town and walked up to the Hotel. no issues at all and gave us the opportunity to get our bearings. the Hotel is sited in the village square. The staff were welcoming, the bedroom was lovely and big overlooking the square. with the wooden shutters we had no issues with noise from the church bells. The breakfast was extensive and we could also order. cooked omelette and eggs. We had a drink before dinner overlooking the plains and mountains breathtaking. we choose to eat in the hotel and weren’t disappointed- we had a tomato soup and pasta dish to start( which could have served as a main) followed by veal tail and venison which were both equally delicious. we would certainly book again.

Habe beim Buchen die Hotels nach einem vorhandenen Parkplatz gefiltert. In der Beschreibung des Hotels stand unter Highlights Parkplatz vorhanden. Nach 15 Minuten fahrt durch die engsten Gässchen stand ich endlich vor dem Hotel. Parkplätze gab es keine, denn das Hotel hat gar keine. An der Rezeption empfahl man mir das nächstgelegene Parkhaus, welches 1,1 km entfernt ist. Von dort könne ich ja dann ein Taxi nehmen. Also wieder 15 Minuten durch Gässchen, wo man zT einen Spiegel einklappen musste, damit man durchkam. Nach 1 Stunde war ich dann am Hotel. Die Dame beim Checkin hatte wenig Verständnis, dass ich aufgrund dieser Erfahrung verärgert bin, das Hotel sei schließlich nicht für die Informationen in der Hotelbeschreibung verantwortlich!? Nur wer sonst? Also unternahm sie exakt null, um den Ärger zu lindern: kein Upgrade (freie Zimmer hätte es genügend gegeben), kein kostenloses Frühstück – noch nicht mal ein Begrüßungsdrink. Beautiful former palace with incredible views from terrace. Front desk staff were not very welcoming compared to other hotel properties we have stayed at. I booked a Mountain View room and when I asked about it the Staff person just said “No” with no other explanation. We received a nice size room but no view whatsoever.

Fantastic one night stay. Check in was professional, prompt and smooth yet very friendly and informative thank to the lovely Juana. Room was so clean that you’d happily walk around barefooted. Room was also spacious with plenty of light coming in on the windows that could be closed by stylish wooden covers and thick curtains as well for a good night sleep. Beds were extremely comfortable, bathroom and wardrobe well equipped for a homely feel. Breakfast we hesitated to book due to price, eventually booked and it was well worth it. Service by catering staff (lady in her 50s, lighter colour hair elegantly bundled up) was exceptionally friendly. We had the most delicious ham and egg omelette with pisto on the side. Other food selection was also great with wide variety. Terraces and amenities are great, the hotel has a great elegant vibe, which made us consider to always choose paradores hotels in our future stays across Spain. Highly recommend it to couples and families alike!

It was amazing. The staff contacted us ahead of time regarding the directions to the Parking, and even called us a taxicab to take us to the hotel. My suggestion to everybody is to go enjoy the stay in Room 20. It was an amazing experience with the amenities as we have home. The views from the terrace were breathtaking and the service was excellent. By night, even better. In conclusion money well spent. No regrets. We will do it again.

The town is particular and unique. So this parador is the best option to stay. The building and the views are very nice. The downside is parking and accessibility. There was construction just in front of the hotel so I assume that made it worst. You need to access through a narrow street and then park downhill and walk up or take a taxi to go back to the hotel

Nette grote kamer met mooi uitzicht als je die dan ook boekt. Lekker warm bad en douche. Erg vriendelijk personeel. Fijn dat je een kan koffie krijgt bij het ontbijt. Jammer dat er geen croissants zijn, wel voldoende kaas soorten. Goede service bij boeken taxi. Parkeer gewoon beneden en neem een taxi naar boven.

The property is beautiful, historic, and in the most amazing location perched on the edge of cliffs with stunning views all round. Breathtaking. Our room was really spacious and comfortable, with large separate bathroom. We overlooked the square which was quiet once the loud bells stopped for the night!! Very lovely place to stay, although we parked outside the old part in the recommended car park, and had to get a cab in which was a bit of a hassle. The property is beautiful, historic, and in the most amazing location perched on the edge of cliffs with stunning views all round. Breathtaking. Our room was really spacious and comfortable, with large separate bathroom. We overlooked the square which was quiet once the loud bells stopped for the night!! Very lovely place to stay, although we parked outside the old part in the recommended car park, and had to get a cab in which was a bit of a hassle. Just fabulous! Full of history and breathtaking views. The streets are very narrow near the hotel. If you have a wide car, beware!
