A beautiful and unusual hotel, very large, you can get lost in the corridors! Staff were friendly. The bar is only open in the evenings and only breakfast is available which is a shame as we would have loved to have eaten dinner there. Underground parking is available at 10€ a day. There are a few lovely restaurants within 10 to 15 minutes walk. Rooms are clean and comfortable if a touch basic but if it is simply somewhere to lay your head, perfect.

The hotel staff were very good. The room was clean and large. The internet connection was poor in our original room but the helpful staff moved us to another room which had a very good connection. The location was good and being a converted old monastery the hotel had lots of character although some things about our room and the hotel generally did seem a bit tired, We did find it disappointing that there was no coffee/tea making facilities in the room Also the coffee machines at breakfast produced rather strong bitter coffee but breakfast was generally good.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, however the hotel is quite data and does require some updating. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
