Hotel Riverside by goodnite cz

I arrived evening and had no code for front door . Was lucky someone came and gave me reception number as no body is there after 7pm. My room was 27 and when I went to the room I found people inside the room . Called back the number and had to wait at corridor for 30 minutes to get another room . Three days later they called me asking to move me to another room . I sytayef for 7 nights and no body came to change the sheets or clean the room . Miserable experience . Never repeat it

Everyrhing super. However, no aircondition in the room bur only a fan (called air-cooler) A Challenge during warm summer days

People are friendly, rooms are nice, modern, clean and spacious but it's unbearable in the summer with no AC. It is not the fault of staff, it's management. The excuse is old buildings, can't apply, rules, cost, etc but Asia has way more ACs. I am European and there have been heat waves every summer since I can remember. I'm a thin person, same with my daughter and we had an elderly friend with us. It was unbearable for everyone. In my apartment in Budapest I have two ACs. All you need to do is want it. There weren't even enough fans per person per room but fans are no good anyway. It must be AC. The staff were suffering too. Breakfast was fine but eggs were consumed and the next batch came out 20 minutes later, but I could care less really, but not having AC isn't an option anymore. People die yearly of heat exhaustion in Europe it's ridiculous. They could at least have moving ACs in each room if the structure doesn't support it. I think this location would be great in fall and winter but a no go for the summer. I hate leaving bad reviews but it's actually not safe. If you're traveling in the spring/summer in Europe make sure there is AC as many places lack it. It's improving but need to use it in your filter when booking accommodation..

Great value, good location, excellent staff. We were able to park in the courtyard, although I messaged 3 x to reserve a spot as requested. Seems that Goodnite dont respond to messages via hotels.com app. Other slight negatives: the windows in our room were huge and the curtains didn't fit properly. Also, one was half off its rail. No ventilation in bathroom and use of air fresheners throughout the hotel is not pleasant. Despite this, I enjoyed my stay.
