Quinta do Canal

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It was decorated beautifully in a North African style. We had a good range of cooking utensils to use when we cooked our dinner. Breakfast was lovely and there was lots to choose from. The garden is well-kept and the pool looked inviting, even though we didn’t use it on this visit. I would definitely come back for a longer visit. The only problem we had was that our Satnav and Google maps kept giving us the wrong directions.

Parking was very easy, on site and covered. We booked a duplex with a bedroom, sitting room and bathroom, all very clean. Nice North African style decor. Check in was online and via coded lock on room door. Good sized terrace off sitting room with view over the gardens, pool and the sea in the distance. Spiral staircase from hallway to sitting room. Small fridge, microwave and sink in corner of living area.

This was a last minute late night stop on our way to the Algarves. It was a bit hard to find but ended up being our favorite stop in Portugal over the past 2 weeks. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished. The shower is fantastic. The breakfast is simply outstanding. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property and the pool. The owners obviously take pride in the property and what they offer guests. Another plus is the beautiful town and beach area. Highly recommended. Top marks.
