Tahiti Lagoon Resort

Gorgeous views from the rooms looking out over the lovely lagoon. Nice bar and breakfast buffet. A bit pricey but everything in French Polynesia is pricey.@

I read on the website that this resort has a rating of 4.1–4.5 stars, so I was very disappointed with our experience. The property appears outdated, and the staff seemed uninterested in providing assistance or making guests feel welcome. During check-in, no one provided us with any information about the resort or its amenities. On our first night, the music was extremely loud and continued until 2:00 a.m., making it difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep. During our second visit, we stayed in a bungalow for six nights. Unfortunately, the experience was equally disappointing. The safe had to be replaced twice, the sliding door remained broken (could not be locked, not even 100% closed ) throughout our entire stay because the staff could not fix it, and the shower door would not close completely. Additionally, the outdoor lounge chairs had no cushions, making them uncomfortable to use. The following Saturday, the music was again excessively loud after 10:00 p.m. I went to the reception to complain, hoping the issue would be addressed, but nothing changed. The loud music continued until after 11:00 p.m. Overall, the condition of the property, the lack of attentive service, the unresolved maintenance issues, and the repeated noise disturbances fell far below our expectations for a resort with such a high online rating. We were very disappointed and do not feel that the quality of the experience justified the rating or the expectations it created.

Currently going through a refund claim, that should tell you enough!

Too many (german ) dayguests = pensioners , from cruiseships , at the pool ,beautiful beach & restaurant…. music nonstop …. Now Im forced to leave a review cause otherwise some unknown germans - unauthorized - leave reviews in my name….no respect

The bungalow has everything you need and more! Fully stocked fridge with water soda & beer all free with your stay. Macaroons were in the mini fridge. Staff called and asked: “is everything going okay with your stay?” I felt like true royalty! Pool area has snorkel gear, paddle boards, kayaks. So many beautiful colored fishes right next to our bungalow! It’s like diving into a deep ocean to snorkel but the water is shallow, my husband can fully stand up in sand he is 5’8”. My favorite stay in all the Polynesian Islands!!
